Best place ever

My family and I have been coming here since we bought our RV last year. My boys (age 4 and 11) and dog LOVE it! There is something for everyone. The Easter weekend was perfect and will be our new family tradition. The variety of activities and friendly staff make for a fun relaxing get away.. Thank you KOA for being our favorite campsite! Will return with several families in June! ~ The Gibsons

Best KOA I have been to (from California-Washington) for kids, lots for them to do and roam. However the video games at $1 per play are extreme, the games should only be a quater or two. Most of the drive through sites dont have any trees/privacy. There are nice cabins for rent as well, not sure how much the cost though.

Stayed in the Deluxe KABIN, I enjoyed the activities such as bike riding rentals, jumping pillow, pool table, swimming pools, pancake breakfast, store available at front desk, great KOA staff employees, they were helpful and kind. Felt safe at the KOA grounds. Liked bathrooms & heaters in kabins. I also enjoyed watching Brother Bear on the tv supplied in room. No wifi :/

I experienced a positive stay. I only have one complaint. I first stayed in the Studio Kabin which had a Very Old mattress for the bed it squeaked, it was Undesirable to sleep on, the floor where the bed leg was also peeling the floor title.. Other than that, it was great. I was grateful KOA staff was able to provide me another Deluxe Kabin for another nights stay the next day! Thank you! :D

Love the site / KOA, but two things. 1. our pad was flat/level but the site was full of holes leading us to a huge step from our trailer down to the ground. It was easy for my my wife and I to twist an ankle walking around our site. and 2. Breakfast was good but work on the gravy recipe. Will definitely stay here again, kids had a blast and this is on our top 5 list for sites in the area!

I always have a great time staying here!

We have came to this koa for ever on spring break about 25yrs, This stay was different than the rest. Our cabin was awful. The mattress was so lumpy it made sleeping a nightmare. Our power surged and constantly lights went very dim. Everytime you ran water in the bathroom sink the toilet gurgle and the water came up in the toilet. We paid the same price as a motel in seaside.

Very disappointed in the Easter activities this year we’ve been coming for about three or four years and the 10 kids were very disappointed with the tea party and the Easter egg hunt it was definitely not what it used to be we had two cabins an four trailer spots spending of us $1400 very just unsatisfactory

We really enjoyed our stay. The amenities were great. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool most! The park was very clean and well cared for. I would have given this park a 5 star review however, their wifi was horrible....as in it didn't work. The only place you could get Wi-Fi was in the store/check-in area. We had 12 in our party...no Wi-Fi for us and when we asked other guests, same issue.

Was an amazing time. Staff was super friendly. Cabins were clean. My kids loved all the stuff to do. I did hope there would be a mini fridge in the cabins, but it wasn’t super horrible. Would definitely stay there again.

Cable could be improved

We like staying there and we k ow what to expect. The grills never work. All the games are always broken or missing pieces. We can see the emphasize on always improving the park but don't see any maintenance to the things already there. But, that being said, the location is great and the people are nice. Oh and we loved the salt water pool.

Best KOA ever. Indoor pool a big hit with 9 year old granddaughter. Everyone helpful. Brought a wooden step when rain made a big puddle in front of trailer step. Pancake breakfast was great. Clean showers and restrooms. Can’t wait to go back when it’s warmer and all activities are going. Lots to see in the area. Great spring break trip. Made great memories here.

We enjoyed pancakes in the morning. And the coffee really good price. I liked their was so much fun activities for the kids.
Mar 31, 2018
it was excellent until someone tried to break into our trailer. we will keep coming back ever year like we have for the last 5 years.

Very nice camp KOA well taken care of
Mar 31, 2018
Getting checked in was rough with the manager being terse. My husband usually pays for our trip but the system was changed so his information was only saved for the deposit. We figured it out but that could’ve been a reason to leave. The attitude made it very frustrating to navigate in a constructive way to stay for the trip. But, we did it! Phyllis and Courtney were fantastic for breakfast time
Mar 31, 2018
Great place to stay. Wi-Fi does not work, not even at 4am when everyone else should be sleeping.

Best place ever!

Pros: Pool, cabin had everything we needed, allowed dogs, friendly staff, clean and well maintained park and facilities, easy check in/out Cons: No pool towels, mold in cabin we rented, Tiny dog run, Breed restrictions yet allow nasty little leash aggressive dogs, cafe closed Mon and Tues, fun bounce pad closed when it rains which is all the time, towels have to be exchanged for new ones

We had fun. The BFB was great. Our cabin's smoke detectors were missing on arrival, but staff replaced them. However, we were unable to reach the camp office by phone during our stay. We were always directed to voice mail, which was full. Also, the firewood we purchased was not well seasoned.
Mar 30, 2018
Unfortunately, there was a lot of rain. Fortunately, we were in a camping cabin instead of a tent so we were able to stay dry. Due to the weather, we spent a lot of time in the game room and the indoor pool, but we were able to participate in some of the outdoor activities as well. It is really nice to have the options. Staff was very pleasant.

What a fun and different camping experience! My son loved the jump "pillow" and basketball courts. The indoor activities are great if the weather is bad. As far as "camping" I felt like it was more like a village - the site we were assigned had no privacy and was small. I would have picked somewhere different. If you have a big RV that that is not an issue.
Mar 30, 2018
I did not use all the campground facilities, so can't speak for everything. This is one of the best KOA's in Oregon. There was an unknown sharp concrete or drain fitting spot in the hot tub which scratched (minor) on one guest. Hopefully, that will be found in the routine maintenance. It's a typical (non-emergency) wear issue and not a defect in KOA experience, but needs to be noted.

You park was lovely and we loved our spot. Your check-in people were very hospitable and made us feel very welcome. Lots for kids to do. We were really stunned how fast many people drive through your park though. It seems to be a chronic problem. We have two teenagers so I was not as worried about them but there were small children all over. People need to SLOW DOWN!

Nice campground, but I wish more of the items in the Bigfoot Building worked. They all seem like they’ve seen better days.

the front desk where rude lacking cusyomer service ,only got towels once during our 3-day stay. the money the ridiculous amount I paid to have everything closed Is criminal to have everything closed at the beginning of the week and open up only weekend visitors, our picnic area was flooded due to heavy rain and when i asked if something could be done .i was told sorry we dont control the weather

Delux cabin was very good. Outdoor kitchen was also very convenient.
Mar 29, 2018
We were given the campsite we ordered and the staff were very friendly and helpful. On our last night we had a sudden problem with our vent and the maintenance man on duty found a quick solution. We are very grateful for his help. We will return again.
Mar 29, 2018
The front desk does not answer when you call them. I stood in the store with no one else in there except for employees and called and listened to the phone ring as the front desk lady let it ring without answering the phone. A better job needs to be done to ensure that people are wearing their bracelets. We were in the pool and out of over 20 people in the pool we were the only ones wearing them!!

While the weather was pouring rain, the cabin is a cozy comfortable place to stay in. Then the beach is a close place to go take pictures and have fun. Loved the military history.
Mar 28, 2018
Great activities for the kids, clean facilities and customer service.
Mar 28, 2018
Our stay was great and we loved the cabin! The staff did a good job and were always helpful.
Mar 28, 2018
Stay was great! Unfortunate that it rained so hard the last day. Around the cabin we stayed in KK53 petty much flooded outside so pack up was not so fun trudging trough all the water. But the cabin was clean the bathrooms were clean and the kid zone was clean and the kids loved it. Also the pool was kept clean. We will definitely stay there again if in the area.
Mar 28, 2018
Bad weather and they had us in the kabin farthest from the bathroom. Especially since they were not full, would have liked to be closer. Great location.
Mar 28, 2018
Stayed 2 nights in one of the studio cabins. Great stay. The grandkids loved the bunk beds and all the all the things for kids to do. Very clean and lots of amenities. Would recommend this KOA. Will stay again.

Mar 28, 2018
as expected. new management has interesting new rules in place, some of which I don't see elsewhere. PROMOTE RECYCLING nothing in place and this area is known for and easy to recycle. Not doing so is just awful. Set aside one hour a.m. and at least one hour p.m. for adults only to use the indoor pool. The indoor pool has a terrible echo and when children run and yell it is unbearable.

We have stayed a few times in the past, the staff was awesome and over worked. The amenties were all half closed. No free pancake breakfast in morning on Monday and Tuesday, even though we paid full price. No events like they used to half, we are just a little let down K.O.A, has always done us right, not feeling it this time.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is plenty of things for the kids to do, and they had arts and crafts which the kids loved. And with Seaside and Astoria only 10 minutes away, we were able to enjoy the city attractions as well.
Mar 27, 2018
Had a too short, but great stay. Loved the salt water pool and hot tub. Great end to the day. Will be back soon.
Mar 27, 2018
Always enjoy our time! My only complaint is that I called to have my heater looked at because my kids and myself were freezing. The lady said she’d send maintenance right away. 40 mins went by and no one showed so I called again and she said she forgot to send someone and would do it ASAP. No one ever showed up.!
