I really enjoy are camping there that is the only place that we camp at . The workers are very very nice and helpful great people and place to camp at LOVE IT !!!!

We have fun decorating our campground for halloween and entertaining our guests. We may add more halloween weekends this year 2024 as Halloween is a big thing in Kentucky!

The young man who was working the front desk, was very pleasant and extremely helpful. Also, the bath house was very clean.

This is one of my favorite places to stop overnight. Staff is always helpful and the place is always clean!

First off the staff were all really helpful and friendly, but that’s where it ends. The Camp Store is abysmal with only very few useful items on the shelves. Most everything else was arts/crafts. The photos in the ad for the park made it look spectacular. But even in early Autumn the grass was dead and the pull thru sites had few trees with a view f the road to industrial sites. �

The site was fine for the night. Unfortunately the cable and wifi were out of service at the time of our stay. The manager said the problem will be solved as soon as possible. We will return if we travel through the area again.

Second try. Arrived late and left early the next day so did not take full advantage of the facility but we have no complaints or issues other than difficulty getting situated in our site and getting as level as we prefer. We appreciated the young man who greeted us on arrival.

Cable TV not working. Notified the office and was told someone would come and check it. No one showed up.

I am sorry that we did not come to fix your cable. Cable has generally been really reliable, servicing over 96 sites at our campground. We improved WiFi by 10x past two years, which gives you another option nowadays for watching TV shows. And we are adding more WiFi routers this year!

This is a very nice KOA. It is a great place for an overnight and if we are heading that direction we will stay there again.

Manger that drives around on the golf cart is extremely rude does not know how to treat people with respect all the other staff members was very friendly other then the manager which is the reason me or the other 3 campers that was with us will not return to this koa

Campground needs TLC. Pool closed before time advertised, Bathrooms need attention, sites are really unleveled and not cared for, Utilities okay, WIFI horrible, roads hard to maneuver for large rigs, Obsticlaes in the way, Store okay, Staff nice, only good for an overnight.

I cannot really say much, arrived around 8 pm and left at 9 am the next morning. The campground is near the highway and looked suited for commuters like us, but not sure if I would spend a longer time there without receiving more information on the area. The campground is very basic but not too bad. I would rate it on the average for a KOA site. Better than other commercial sites I have been.

Thanks for your review. We do have quite a few attractions for vacationers at the campground, and nice things to do within 15 minutes, and less than 30 min to lakes, golf courses, caves and towns. Check it out on our website. A casino just opened near us as well.

We LOVE this quaint little campground when we drive to SC. It's so quiet even though it's tucked in off the highway. The spots are spacious & your neighbor isn't right on top of you. We would appreciate the site lights working though (I do understand they shine into your camper though). I may recommend a larger sign pointing guests to it, it can be fairly dark coming in at night. We'll be back

Thanks for your nice review. We will be adding some more lights to the entrance this season, and are installing some bigger flags as well after the flag post had been damaged during a storm.

Nice park, close to Highway but little noise. Sites fairly level. Staff super nice. If coming from highway signage is OK. However if coming from north the only sign is half a mile past entrance saying you missed entrance. And no where to turn a big rig around.

Thanks for your review. The signage coming from the North is a challenge as the state won't allow the regular KOA sign there. There is a sign, but smaller than the regular signs and not yellow. It helps that most travelers nowadays can rely on their GPS as well.

We were in the area to visit friends so we did not get much of a chance to enjoy the campground as much as we would have liked. But what little we did, we enjoyed!! We will be back when we are in the area!

Overall a nice campground but seems to have a lot of extended stay campers that don’t keep things picked up or neat. Looks a little trashy. They should be in their own area.

At times we do have a number of extended stay and some (although rarely) we need to nudge to clean up. However most stay at the other half of the campground far from where vacationers stay, who are closer to the facilities such as pool, mini golf etc

A nice facility, but: 1) Picnic table had been moved from our site to an adjacent site. It was obvious and staff should have corrected before our arrival. 2) A lot of small trash and debris left on site by previous campers. 3) Worst of all: I had to clean up multiple piles of dog doo before I could hook up utilities. Come on folks, if you are going to travel with animals clean up after them!

Sorry for the condition of your site. We inspect all our sites, but sometimes one gets missed. Bring it to our attention and our staff will fix it asap. I agree, guests should clean up after their dogs. Our K9 dog runs have doggy bags as well.

This a nice campground easily accessible off of exit #179 on I-79. Very nice setting. We rated this KOA 5 stars even though we had some site problems. We were all set up and had to change sites due to the issues that came up. Problems do occur and we understand this can happen. The reason for the 5 stars is Patty, the manager of the CG. She made things right quickly and we were very appreciative.

Thanks for your nice review. As you say sometimes issues pop up. We generally are able to fix them on site due to our great crew, although rarely we may have to move you. We agree, we do have one of the best managers!

Good that you had a great time! Even though the property is 50 acres, our crew keeps it clean and the grass trimmed. We are less than a mile from the highway, but still very quiet!

We stop here once or twice a year on our way east or west from Maryland. The campground is always consistent. It does get a bit muddy when it rains but the sites are long enough for our motorhome and towed vehicle. The grounds are well kept.

Very nice KOA and Melissa at the front desk was so nice and helpful. We would highly recommend this campground. We are an older couple but the playground and pool area looked great for families. They have a dog run for pets and the fire pits were cleaned out for you to use.
