Very organized checkin. Very hilly terrain, sites close to level and our site #F-23 had limited cable. Wifi worked but no streaming. Very close to highway and they offer free ear plugs that helped.

We had an emergency with our tow vehicle and needed a place to disconnect from our 5th wheel and stay one night. I believe we got the last site available and arrived about 10 mins later to check in. Julie at the desk and to whom I spoke, was very helpful and sympathetic to our plight. I’d like to go back when we can enjoy the park and the area when we aren’t under such stress.

We enjoyed our stay but there are some considerations that made our stay less than perfect. Very tight and constricted for a 45’ class a. Site was not level. The dog park was a loooong ways away. The trash pick up was a nice perk.

There were several things we liked about the Asheville West KOA. The location was easy to access from the interstate. The facilities were clean and nicely decorated, as well as being in a nice forested area. The people were also very nice and helpful. The biggest complaint I have is the Bath House. It was clean, but the facility was old and overused. Need a bigger newer bath house.

Typical KOA where sites are fairly close together. Staff was wonderful and helpful. I did notice staff what appeared to be sterilizing a picnic table while cleaning up a site after the people left. That was impressive! Quiet. No complaints and it serves our needs while in Asheville. Laundry and showers looked nice, although we didn’t use them.

The campground is really clean and nice! But the road nice is bad. They. Do offer ear plugs for free but if your a lite sleeper you may want to stay somewhere else. Staff was very nice

Great fall color in the campground. I did not have any problems, staff was great. Garbage was scheduled to be picked up between 8-12 daily. It was constantly picked up during that time, so it was not sitting around. Staff cleaned the sites each time after a camper left by raking removing leaves and twigs.

We stayed from the 15th to the 20th of October. Our site was down the hill from the office. It wasn't that nice. It wasn't very level at all with large sharp rocks to walk on around the campsite. The dog park was nice!! The office was nice and so were the people it seemed. The pool looked nice. The campsites that were around the office seemed to be much nicer. The road noise is HORRIBLE!

My site was nice but the traffic pattern was unclear. Seems it is a 2-way street not a loop. The road coming in has very large pot holes that should be fixed. The bathroom is cleaned periodically with no specific schedule. So unfortunately for me I showed up at cleaning time. It would be nice if the cleaning time was set so I could schedule my shower around it.

Very nice staff at this location. The camp entrance is on an incline making entering and exiting a pain. The camp itself has dirt roads and dirt pad sites. The site we were assigned was not level and made it difficult to adjust our RV so that doors opened and closed easily.

The campground is clean and the staff is very friendly. On our first morning, a wild turkey came by our campsite and spent time with us. We even were able to pet him. Turns out there is a house next to the campground that feeds their chickens and the wild turkeys �. We spent five days visiting Asheville and the Biltmore house, which was fabulous. The campground is only 20 minutes from Asheville

Agents were very helpful and great stay. We were running late and they helped get firewood to our spot before we arrived so we didn’t have to stop anywhere on our way in

Staff were friendly. Bathrooms clean. Our side was severely not level. We had to raise one side of our camper 6 inches. Site was so narrow we could not extend awning or park our truck. Pump station is on the wrong side of the road. A loop around the campground is needed to exit pump station.

The campground is very well maintained and looks great. The folks who work here are very friendly and will help with any thing they can. The downside and what is something that can't be changed is the traffic noise on I40. Unfortunately for me it is a deal-breaker for another stay here.

"Sufficiently Average". Very pleasant staff. Gravel sites and roads well maintained. Good wi-fi. But proximity to the Interstate made for a constant daytime din (upper sites). "Peace and quiet" were hard to find.

This most excellent staff could not make this parking lot palatable. It is packed to the brim with absolutely no privacy. Hardly any place to walk a dog except for the gravel streets. Avoid if possible.

A lovely campground with very convenient location, helpful and friendly staff and nice amenities! We loved our patio site with furnishings and gas grill, had firewood delivered to our site and enjoyed the trails on the property. It is such a clean, cute, nicely thought out park. We will stay here again anytime we are visiting this area! Thank you!

Everything was great except for the road noise. Ours was the closest site to the highway. We were offered earplugs and a couple of white noise apps were suggested which was very nice. Didn’t need them because I have a fan that worked quite well. This is a very convenient location if you’re on the road.

Very friendly and clean...dog park is really nice and larger than some. Yes it's off of i40 but they will offer ear plugs etc. But it really wasn't much of a problem for us...

A lot of raid noise, but they tell you that up front. The camp was clean, the staff hard working and friendly! The sites need to be leveled better, but we were able to level using our blocks in our class A. They only have one dog park, and it's over where most of the long terms are ans if you are in the pull through up top its a long walk. They have a nice pool and nice trail around the camp. I'm not sure I would agree with it being called a holiday ( lack of amenities) but a good journey for a 2 day stay.

I was a tad nervous about the noise reading the reviews, but we did not have any issues with the traffic noise. This is a great jump off point to Asheville and close to anything you would need. The facilities were really well kept and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
