We stayed both ways… going to Myrtle Beach and coming back! Great place tomstay… level sites… small… perfect! We had issues with our Motorhome the morning we were supposed to leave and Holly in the office went above and beyond to try and help us! Offered her own vehicle for us to run to an ATM of we needed to… we were not pulling our car this trip….

We stayed for 3 nights. We had previously booked at a different RV park more centrally located to Asheville, but moved because of the traffic and generally felt unsafe. By comparison to Bear Creek, this KOA is more secluded and rustic. You can still hear noise from highway 40, but the surrounding and campgrounds are well maintained, very clean and everyone extremely friendly and hospitable!

Facility and staff are great. Our 1 issue was person in B7 who turns his 2 boxers loose at night and then stands a few feet behind our camper, yelling at them. During the day he took them to the dog park.

Enjoyed staying there. It was clean and well cared for inside and out. We live right next to I 85, so the traffic wasn’t too bad. Hope to see come back again in the spring

Quick stop while traveling home to Tennessee. Campground was very clean and the staff was extremely nice. Road noise from the interstate was pretty loud, but overall good experience.

Super friendly staff! No issues booking or modifying my stay at this campground. Right off the interstate so this KOA was easy to access then get back on the road again. Highly recommended for the Asheville area as all of the attractions are very close.

Site was excellent for our 20 ft RV except for noise from I 40. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly! They apologized for the noise and offered ear plugs. So I recommend corporate install some sound barrier wall along the I 40 camper’s side. Will be worth the investment.

Our stay was nice but a bit noisy, which goes without saying since it is so close to I-40. Campground is a nice place to stop and we had plenty of room in our pull through site F19…which btw needs more gravel to offset the mud. Nice store, nice showers and bathrooms, nice kabins. Friendly staff and they have a fun scavenger hunt trail.

Outside of the road noise, which isn't the fault of the campground, we enjoyed our stay. All the staff I interacted with were amazing.

All staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They allowed us to use a 50 amp extension cord so we didn't have to disconnect the camper from our truck since we were only staying one night. The next morning they also helped us with propane issues and directions. We have stayed here several times before and would recommend this park to anyone.

loved the location, amenities, and staff. Only thing I would change is to ensure some sites are satellite friendly, but it was truly great. In the end the wifi worked just fine in my campsite.

It was a very nice campground. However on the last two days the campground had very low water pressure due to the well. The campground was very clean all of the staff were very hospitable well as professional.

Friendly and caring staff. The site was very unlevel and i could not level the coach properly. I was in a 36' motorhome towing a pickup and there was not enough room in their pull throughs to position it any other way. Traffic noise was a very high level as stated in their handout. sites are gravel and dirt and have a small area that is level in the middle then they fall off in the front.

Great spot to stop and explore the Biltmore and Asheville. Seems like you’ll either deal with a bit of noise from the interstate or the truck stop. Not a deal breaker and this is a nice campground. We were also a little surprised by our spot barely fitting our rig and having to park the truck alongside when there were so many empty “larger” comparable spots. Would stay again.

Location was fine as well as the employees that I spoke with there on a single night stay. Internet and cable were excellent. I would stay there again but as mentioned in the handout we received there was a lot of disruption from the noise generated from the I-40 traffic.

The staff was great, friendly and accomodating. Only issue was the driveway to the campground, steep and large cracks and pot holes in one section. The road noise did not bother us, our site was right next to the office and had no issue with the road noise.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful answering all our questions. The campgrounds were well cared for throughout. Our little dog thoroughly enjoyed the dog park.

I really enjoyed our stay. When I first arrived and checked in I the lady at the front desk was really nice (she was an older lady with grey hair). I asked if they had any coffee creamer I could get and she was walking over to the coffee area and the other lady at the front desk replied we have none for sale. I would just think as a courtesy to the customer to have given me a little bit.

Unfortunately it was a short stay but a great location for easy on/off 40. Traffic noise can be a bit much and no services after 6:00 PM but a great stop.

Tooo close to the interstate! Very noisy! I paid for a deluxe site but was not able to use the fire pit. I understand why but if we cannot use all the amenities then we should not have been charged the full price.

Very friendly and clean...dog park is really nice and larger than some. Yes it's off of i40 but they will offer ear plugs etc. But it really wasn't much of a problem for us...

A lot of raid noise, but they tell you that up front. The camp was clean, the staff hard working and friendly! The sites need to be leveled better, but we were able to level using our blocks in our class A. They only have one dog park, and it's over where most of the long terms are ans if you are in the pull through up top its a long walk. They have a nice pool and nice trail around the camp. I'm not sure I would agree with it being called a holiday ( lack of amenities) but a good journey for a 2 day stay.

I was a tad nervous about the noise reading the reviews, but we did not have any issues with the traffic noise. This is a great jump off point to Asheville and close to anything you would need. The facilities were really well kept and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
