We only stayed 1 night while traveling, but the staff was efficient and friendly. The check in and out easy. The facility was well kept and clean.

Holly, Crystal and Sally were lovely! My husband and I have visited several KOAs and by far this was our favorite! The amenities, sites, customer service and location made it a great night’s stay. We will be back!

This was our first visit to the Asheville West KOA and we had a great time. The staff are all great and they make you feel like family. We will definitely be back.

We arrived late our first night . Directions and everything was waiting on us when we got there. It was super easy to find our site and get set up. Bathrooms was easy to locate. Called the next morning and finished our check in. Camp grounds was clean and quite.

Staff were friendly and helpful. All areas were neat and clean. The mini hiking trails were perfect for a short walk. Only drawback was its location to the interstate. The free foam earplugs took care of that issue.

Very quiet park , staff friendly and courteous. Two small issues compared to other parks small shower stalls and the pool was closed for 2 days of our 4 day stay. Overall nice campsite outside of Asheville.

We only stayed one night on our way home, however, we arrived somewhat early that day for check-in. We were very graciously accommodated for an early check-in, which we weary travelers appreciated so much. Our pull-through site was in a good location, easy to get into & get set up. Thank you Asheville KOA West!

Very, very friendly folks. Site was somewhat un-level and tight for our 40’ Super C but it was clean and all worked well. We didn’t use facilities or pool but looked nice. Some highway noise but we were able to drown it out in motorhome with a fan. Would stay again.

Asheville West KOA is a great spot to stop and enjoy the mountains of western NC. The proximity to Asheville is great, but there's also plenty to do at the campground and the people are so friendly!

We were welcomed and treated with hospitality! Our trip to Tennessee involved mechanical problems so we had cancelled one leg of our journey. This meant that we were closer to Asheville than we were supposed to be when this trip was planned. We were there very early for check in but they were gracious and allowed ip to check in early and waived the early check in fee. Great customer service!

We enjoy staying at KOAs since they always are consistently good. Asheville West KOA was the best of the best for our stay. They contacted me via text prior to our visit to welcome us. My wife left her keys in the restroom and when someone turned them in the staff sent out a text to locate the owner. The entire park was very nice with nice extras and the staff was fantastic.

WEST ASHEVILLE KOA - great facilities and friendly staff willing to go the extra mile. Escorted us to the campsite. Brought us ice and wood from the store as it was close to closing time @ 4:30. Very clean and dog friendly. Shower and Bathroom was clean and maintained. Did not use the pool. We enjoyed our Thursday/Friday night. Close to Asheville. Noise - yes from i40. No smell from mill

The premium patio sites are 'eh' at best & not worth the money. The campground is fine for a base, but nothing great.

Very beautiful campground, bathroom clean, super friendly staff. Even had a garden — we picked a yellow squash! Very nice store too- even had ice cream! Thank you!

Great location near sights with the only issue bing road noise… if you are in an RV, and can close doors etc., then great. However, if in a tent I would recommend ear plugs. The campground itself is an excellent representation of how a campground should be. Clean, well spaced between sites, and the setup of the camp cabins is one of the best we’ve seen across America.

Very friendly and clean...dog park is really nice and larger than some. Yes it's off of i40 but they will offer ear plugs etc. But it really wasn't much of a problem for us...

A lot of raid noise, but they tell you that up front. The camp was clean, the staff hard working and friendly! The sites need to be leveled better, but we were able to level using our blocks in our class A. They only have one dog park, and it's over where most of the long terms are ans if you are in the pull through up top its a long walk. They have a nice pool and nice trail around the camp. I'm not sure I would agree with it being called a holiday ( lack of amenities) but a good journey for a 2 day stay.

I was a tad nervous about the noise reading the reviews, but we did not have any issues with the traffic noise. This is a great jump off point to Asheville and close to anything you would need. The facilities were really well kept and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
