Pros: friendly staff, convenient to freeway Cons: tight spots, not many amenities for price Bottom line is location, location, location Ok for 1 nite stay.

The staff was great to give us the best spot available. She was incredibly welcoming. The river was really pretty and a nice quiet place for fishing. I would stay again. Lots of beautiful trees and a good size dog park the pups loved.

Many trees around the campground blocks most of the highway view. Nice walking trail for us and the pups. Very clean and nice sized dog park. Staff is efficient and friendly.

Enjoyed the trails for a little exercise after a long days drive. Pull through sites are the best for overnight stay and back on the road the next day.

We stopped in for one night while traveling. Campground was clean and convenient. It was nice to have some trails to walk on.

First time at the park. Very nice. The staff was very pleasant & accommodating. The grounds were very clean. We don’t do any summer seasonal camping in our rv as we live on a lake. However, we will definitely stay here on our way travelling again!

Staff polite & helpful. Pull-thru sites are adequate - gravel/dirt only. Shower facilities are small; 2 of 4 not working at all. KOA entrance road in need of resurfacing. Very close to Interstate Hwy - noisy.

A very convenient place for us to stay while travelling to & from Florida. The girl at the front desk (Julie I believe) was very friendly & helpful.

Campsite was clean and staff very friendly. The location is horrific! It sits atop a hill and overlooks a major highway. Even sleeping with a tv on all night the transfer truck noise was overwhelming. If you like your sleep…… this is not your place.

Very well-kept campground, clean bathrooms, and friendly staff. I enjoyed walking my dog on the path that circled the campground. I think maybe the WiFi signal needs strengthening. I had some issues with it.

the highway is extremely loud making it hard to enjoy a simple conversation by the campfire. the campsite itself was nice but it could have been made more level the bathrooms were ok

Other than the I40 road noise it’s a quiet campground. Facilities are very clean.

Fairly nice campground. People were very helpful and friendly. Our campsite had a problem with the fire pit being too close to the trailer and on a hill so it was hard to set around. The highway is very close and makes a lot of noise.

Noisy, but you can't move I-40 westbound. Power company shut the power off 2 days in a row. Not your fault. Sites could use more gravel, to keep things from being so muddy. Not a luxury RV Park, dirt/gravel sites but adequate. Office staff was very apologetic and dealt with the power issue as best as they could. Signage was good directing us into the park.Cable TV was great when power returned.

Just a quick overnite. Perfect for our nimble little Class C, the roads are hilly and curvy. Close enough to expressway, but far enough to offer a quiet night's rest. Thank you for the good signage!!

Everything was clean. Loved the trails to walk the dog everyone in the office was friendly and helpful. Went to southernbporch , one of the lunch recommendations and it was awesome. Would stay again.

Restrooms were very clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The Park was nice and well maintained. We were in a full hook/pull-through site directly across from the main office. The site was quite unlevel and was it was very difficult to get our RV level, even with our automatic jacks. I would have rated the stay 5 stars but was somewhat disappointed with our site.

we arrived after hours. our paperwork was in a rack on the wall easy to get, so we were able to self check in. very easy. we were passing thru, so we checked out the next morning to resume our travel. staff was very friendly, with nice smiles on their faces. price for the one night stay was very reasonable. would stay there again. only thing negative was the highway noise, but not bad when inside.

Good stay, just overnight so didn't get a lot of time to check the whole camp but the bathrooms were prefect and that's what I need the most. My dog Ralphie enjoyed the K9 club area! Thanks Scott

Tried different sites and none were level. The biggest issue was the noise from the interstate hwy. Now we know why they handed out earplugs when we checked in. Not what we expected from a Holiday KOA.

sites were a little closer than we like. Parking for our vehicle was as large as we prefer. Probably need new gravel for the sites and evaluate the level of some of the sites.

unfortunately due to matters beyond our control we got in very late. We didn't set up but instead pulled into our well marked spot slept and pulled out early the next morning. What we did note was the consistent communication and the prep for us arriving late. This made everything going wrong (mechanical stuff unrelated) a lot easier to deal with. We look forward to being able to return soon.

Nice area. A lot of i40 noise mostly the trucks braking. Need more gravel on sides of sites. It had rained and ours was a mud hole to walk from vehicle to camper door. Beautiful sites in area.

I would never stay there again. Traffic noise is horrific, site was unlevel, and the entire campground is rundown.

Very friendly and clean...dog park is really nice and larger than some. Yes it's off of i40 but they will offer ear plugs etc. But it really wasn't much of a problem for us...

A lot of raid noise, but they tell you that up front. The camp was clean, the staff hard working and friendly! The sites need to be leveled better, but we were able to level using our blocks in our class A. They only have one dog park, and it's over where most of the long terms are ans if you are in the pull through up top its a long walk. They have a nice pool and nice trail around the camp. I'm not sure I would agree with it being called a holiday ( lack of amenities) but a good journey for a 2 day stay.

I was a tad nervous about the noise reading the reviews, but we did not have any issues with the traffic noise. This is a great jump off point to Asheville and close to anything you would need. The facilities were really well kept and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
