Beautiful town and campground. Sites are close in proximity but we had plenty of room to lounge out and enjoy our stay. Met many new folks from all over the place and had a wonderful stay.

Check in was fine, but after that, not so much. We have a 40' motor coach and the site we were given was jammed in between two other back in site with virtually no room to maneuver. The condition of the site was poor.

We had a great time. Staff was friendly, bathrooms were clean and warm and lovely. Kamp store was great.

Sites where to close, hard to get in and out of. Fire rings are to close to the next camper. The check in staff was rude when we arrived before check in time. We wont stay here again.

My stay was great, the only reason I wouldn't always recommend it to others is because of the proximity of the RV sites to each other. For tent camping it was fantastic, especially the last-minute availability and the late check-in.

stayed 4 days had a great time. the staff was very friendly and helpful. definitely plan on returning. the park itself is clean and beautiful.

Very friendly staff, campground is gorgeous, and it’s in a great location. This was our second time staying at this campground and on the lake. We definitely will be back!!!

It is always wonderful. This is the first time I overnighted in Deluxe Cabin 6 when it was so very cold outside. The heater primarily heats a space of several feet right in front of it, but not the whole cabin very well. Wonder if there should be some supplemental heat available?

We enjoyed seeing all of the special Halloween activities. Through we didn’t participate, we enjoyed watching all those that did. Enjoyed walking around the lakes.

Everything was great except one thing. The playground needs to be well lit and I wasn’t thrilled it was beside the main road. But other than that, we had a great time. Staff were super friendly and helpful. It was a great trip.

It was fine, even though the campsites are small. The problem was the "Monster Mash" dance for 3 hours right next door. It was way too loud, too long. If I had known I would not have booked. My neighbors who have been with you three times said the same thing!

We were very disappointed in our stay this year. We normally don’t have any problems at this KOA and enjoy our vacation. This time the campground had a lot of kids and teenagers running around out of control, doing things they shouldn’t have been doing. It made us very uncomfortable and scared our dogs. We also had a bike stolen. We didn’t feel safe and won’t go back to this KOA any tim

This Koa is over crowded and sites are on top of each other. Sites by the Lake would be better. Not enough showers for the quantity of people camping. Staff is friendly and location is good.

We had a wonderful stay! There were so many things for us to do as a family and we loved just sitting by the fire enjoying the mountain and lake! The staff is such a joy! Thank you!!!

The grounds were lovely & the staff were very helpful. And maybe it was just the Halloween weekend, but there were many kids on golf carts on the walking trails that seemed to be going too fast & too close to those of us that were walking. Kids are kids, I’d probably done the same at their ages, but kids driving golf carts usually isn’t a great idea, especially where others are walking.

This was our first experience at a koa where the escort didn’t offer to assist backing in to our site. He just pointed in the general direction and disappeared leaving us floundering to get into position. We usually have a pull thru but even then the escort stops to make sure we are happy.

Beautiful stay, bathrooms were clean. The only thing was we thought there would be grates in the fire pits for cooking. Thank you!

We had an amazing time while the fall colors were beautiful. This KOA is very family friendly with a lot of activities planned for kids. The staff leading the activities were enthusiastic and fun. They even closed down car traffic on the entire campground for the safety of kids during some activities. Everyone on the staff was very friendly and helpful. All facilities were clean.

Had a great time while staying at the Asheville East KOA. It gave us access to Black Mountain and the surrounding area. The only negative was that it was noisy from the highway (70) and the loud trains right across the street. We had three couples with RV’s during this stay and were able to stay fairly close to each other. We were not willing however to pay the $25 fee for guaranteeing a spot.
