The sites near the lake are too expensive to have no sewer hookups. If you need sewer, you can pay $10 each time for the honey wagon to come by or you can stay away from the lake in a cramped area with sewer that is more expensive. Spaces are a little short. Nice bathrooms near the B section (lake, no sewer). Also nice for kids to play, especially in the creek.

Our stay was good but this park needs to upgrade their facilities. It really needs more bathrooms and showers. Also a lot of the laundry machines weren’t working. We were very pleased with the staff. Our reservation got mixed up and they rearranged spots so we could get in a day earlier than they had us scheduled. We really appreciated that effort.

We had a good experience there. We enjoyed the river tubing, the lake on our kayak and the pool. Our site was very nice and the showers were good. Your location is great with so much nearby.

Staff not very helpful or knowledgeable about the area. Only two of the 5 clothes dryers were operational.

Washers kept stopping in the middle of loads due to circuit breaker issues,but staff was really nice and came and turned them back on- even in the middle of the night Pool closed earlier than dusk

I would have given 5 star, however during our visit, our site was overgrown with tall grass and weeds, there were active anthills and the tree canopy was so low we think it way have scraped our roof.

It was an okay place. The AC unit & fan in the cabin were very loud (could still hear them through earplugs, probably couldn't have slept at all without earplugs) but it seemed adequately clean and safe. Wifi too slow to work. TV picture quality not great. Floor felt sandy. Thick comfortable mattresses though.

Back in site with FHU for our 43’ rig was surprisingly unlevel and could have used some fresh gravel. Sites are very close, but not unusual for a KOA. The overall location and amenities were nice with a nicely stocked store. The creek running through the park was a bonus for the kids. Would stay again if I remember to bring better leveling ramps.

Very lovely campground. Clean, quiet, and spacious. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Our dogs enjoyed the dog park and walks along the river. Looking forward to a return trip.

The activities were good for kids , grateful my granddaughter enjoyed them . The only improvement i would say is the prices in the camp store are very expensive. I also smelled marijuana at one point in the store, not sure if someone was vaping thc but i hate the smell and it is offensive to me and my child.

Beautiful property! Our site was right on the lake which offered an amazing view. The hiking trails and river access made the summer heat fun! We’ll be returning guests.

For the most part it was fine. The bathrooms were dirty- one of the women’s bathroom had a bloody tampon left on a shelf for our entire 3 day stay & some of the staff were rude but other than that we enjoyed our stay.

We had a nice stay at Asheville KOA. Sites were clean and right size for our RV, but way overpriced. Stay away from one of the workers named Coleman. Very nice person at first, but did not follow through what he said he would do. Very untruthful person. Bathrooms by the office, look to be like a 1950’s locker room. Faucets and and shower heads look to be homemade and need updating.

It was great! Our cabin was so cute. We liked all the amenities for kids. All the employees were very nice. We slept great.

Great park with excellent service. The park is conveniently located near The Biltmore. We had a nice level spot. The team there was very helpful. They let us stay another day when our plans were delayed due to weather. I highly recommend this park.

A very nice setting for camping. Large enough to take good walks, pretty scenery with the creek and ponds. Facilities are good and the staff very helpful and friendly. Close enough to Asheville to get to town quickly yet far enough out to think you are in the country.

Convenient camp in a wonderful area. We booked last minute and we able to get a pull through site with patio. This made our site nice with a hardscape area to use. Friendly spot - lots to see and do.

Little bummed that we requested a spot near the restrooms since we were coming in late in our camper van and got one that was literally the furthest from the restrooms. Guess we had to pay extra to “choose” and get one of the 20 sites closer that were empty. :(

We were there for the holiday weekend. All the activities were great. Love the campground but with everything corporate is doing they are making it unaffordable for families that want to camp there. It's sad that corporate doesn't see what they are doing.

Some very rude staff and one super nice one! This KOA used to be absolutely amazing!! For the last 2 years nothing but downhill!!! So sorry it got sold to people that could care less about family memories. We spent over a thousand dollars between 3 family members and they would not put us close together ALL THREE cabins we ask to change to at check in remained empty the entire time!!!!

The RVs were so close together that we ran into the fire pit trying to get into the spot, damaging our trailer. After we sat up, we opened the slides and they were right up against our neighbors. We also had to tiptoe through the dog poop, as the entire site was covered it. We just returned home from staying at 12 different RV parks over a 3 week vacation, and this campground was the worst one.

Family Vacation, Last Stop. Had a great time. Only reason for the 4-star is that the RV pads are a little tight and the only 50-Amp services are not near the lake, so we had to sacrifice to a 30-Amp if we wanted to be on the lake. Other than that, the property was beautiful and the kids had a great time playing in the creek.

What is charged a full rate for a standard pull through that did not have cable. The cable has apparently been cut. Standard pull through is very, very narrow. An unused telephone pole prevented this white out and going out all the way. If you have kids, I would read it higher because of all the activities. If no kids, only the patio sites are decent, everything else is tight.

The location is amazing! It would be nice if the campground would schedule some type of July 4th activities on the 4th & not just the prior weekend. The cabin was nice and clean.

I have gone camping every summer when I was younger. By far this was the best camp ground I have stayed in. From things to do in the campground, the views, great sites and things to do near by. Plus everyone in the office was super friendly

WHAT HAPPENED TO BINGO? We used to all go as a family and only when Bingo was available. But this time they only had cheap prizes from the dollar store, not cash. This used to be a family event that we looked forward to every year. We've been going for about ten years and couldn't believe this has gone from a happy family event to a KOA money making business event. So very disappointing.

I always enjoy staying here but recently things have changed. Grass isn't mowed regularly, no security at night, and no upgrades despite doubling the prices over the past two years. At $145/night for Holidays and no special amenities, we're thinking about changing what used to be our favorite campground to a different one.

Price is to high not maintained well need better up keep of all campsites and the roads geese have taken over campground had to rake campsite before we could put anything outside need security 24 hrs for the price you pay need to take better care of fishing lakes bathrooms and showers not clean been coming there for 40 years unless things get better will go somewhere else

I stayed at a FHU back in site. Clean campground. The river running through the campground is a great feature. The kids enjoyed the playground and other kid activities. The sites are tight. Decent location and drive to Asheville.

Enjoyed the walks aronund the ponds with Family and Dogs. Staff very friendly and attentive.
