Very helpful friendly host in office and the gentleman that took us to our site. Site and all hookups functioned correctly. Would definitely stay again.

My wife became ill & we couldn’t go. They would not give us a refund & we had prepaid the entire 7 days. We were hopeful we could go at the end of the week. Two days into the stay the manager called & wanted to know if we were coming. She informed me she had to rent the space even though we had paid for the entire 7 days. Double dipped on us & offered no refund. Never stay at a KOA again!!!!!!

Great location. Close to shopping and good places to eat. Great staff Very friendly and helpful. Lots of extras at the campground. Dog walk path wonderful. Will stay again soon.

The workampers were amazing, helpful & friendly. The KOA itself is just ok. Location is good for visiting the area but the sites could use some fresh paint & a clean up of the pine needles. Was definitely overpriced.

Honestly, a very nice, well run location. First impressions being everything, the front office/gift shop area and game room/mini golf areas could use some updating/modernizing. Past that though, the cabins and campsites are very clean and well kept. Staff were WONDERFUL!!! Very eager to accommodate.

This was our first time camping with the kids. The entire staff was welcoming and friendly - the playground, jump pad, pool, and mini golf made a simple camping trip feel like a real vacation. It rained and we still enjoyed it. Bathrooms were clean.

This campsite is an excellent KOA location! The staff was very professional, thorough, and friendly. The facilities for both our travel trailer (site, dump station, etc) and ourselves (bathrooms, shower facility, etc) are well-maintained and clean. I highly recommend this site.

This is First Tent Camping with my family. Office staff is friendly and cooperative. Small campground but pleasant, well maintained and very near to the City. Overall it is very good experience and I will go again.

Perhaps the disorganization we experienced related to our spot was due to staffing issues. And how unclean our grill and patio furniture were. Or maybe all this is related to the office error in indicating which spot we were in. Overall a nice park, clean pool, great walking trail. Laundry machines were limited due to broken machines.

We had a very nice stay here at Anderson / Lake Hartwell KOA. We had the patio which included patio furniture an umbrella with a BBQ grill. The spaces are spacious, wooded area with a hiking path and the smell of the forest. Lots of things to do for the children although we don't have any with us. I would definitely return.

We had a very pleasant stay on a premium site. People were friendly and helpful. The only fault with the campground in my opinion is the grounds need more maintenance and beautification. Additionally there should be stricter regulations for people on permanent sites to keep them from becoming so trashy.

Came in for move-in week at Clemson. Campground was very clean and quiet. All staff members that we talked to were extremely nice and helpful. Will definitely stay here again!

A great campground with level sites and decent size. The facilities are clean and up to date and staff is friendly. We are repeat guests and will continue to use Hartwell KOA on every visit. THANKS.

We arrived at 9:00pm after hours,dark & in the pouring rain! Could have been a bad start to our 10 day visit! Found our site which was well marked on the map left for us. Our granddaughters 8&4 came and camped with us,I think we used the pool everyday! One of the helpers in delivered our firewood to our site so I did not have to carry it! We will be visiting often! Thanks for a great stay.

This is one of the best KOA's that we have stayed out. The campsite was wooded and level. There was so much for my 3 year old granddaughter to do. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Had a great time. If ever in the area, we will definitely come back!!!

The staff were friendly, helpful, and the grounds had so much for my kids to have a blast with. The playground has a bouncy house pad, and so many amenities. the pool, is a no kidding pool, 3-9ft deep. It is minutes from the lake, quiet at night, but 10 min from all kinds of shops and food in Anderson, SC

Place is dusty gravel, dated, needing upgrades. Poor wifi and cable tv. Sites should be paved with some grass between sites. Like a lot of older KOAs, this one should be avoided.

2 hiccups (water bug infested haunted cabin & K01 reeked of cigarette smoke). If the bugs in the cabin issue is addressed, this would’ve been an awesome stay. Kathy, Steve, and Fern are super nice and friendly hosts. Really enjoyed them. Enjoyed the outdoors, lots of activities, very well stocked general store. Easy to find off the highway and nice swimming pool.

Nice park, great wooded trails. Didn’t use any other facilities but the dog parks were nice and the gal at the office store was extra nice. Enjoyed talking with her and she was very knowledgeable.

Very nice, shaded campsite. We were greeted and shown to our site by a very friendly lady. Bathrooms were clean and nice. Several activities including a wooded trail, nice pool with lounging area, frisbee golf Surrounding towns, Pendleton, Anderson, and Clemson offered historic areas, shopping, and dining close by. We would definitely come back.

This KOA Campground had everything. Several playground areas for children, dog walks, well marked signs throughout the campground, beautiful arrangements near some of the campsites like tables and chairs, benches, wooden rockers, fire pits, covered grills, all on wooden platforms. Well maintained Campground. Swimming pool, put-put, large bouncing platform for children. And all the standard things such as bath houses and laundry room. Office personnel were great and helpful. Supplies in office & Little gift shop. Very impressive Campground and had good occupancy while we were there in March 2024.
