Campground Cancellation Guideline

Campground Specific Cancellation Policy

For 2024, the HOLIDAY/SPECIAL EVENT Weekends are Easter (3/29-30), Memorial Day (5/24-26), July 4 (7/3-6), Jason Aldeen Concert (7/25-27), Labor Day (8/30-31,9/1), Clemson Football Weekends (9/7, 9/21, 9/28, 10/19, 11/2, 11/23) and Thanksgiving (11-26-30).

HOLIDAY/SPECIAL EVENT and GROUP reservations have a 2 night minimum. RV/TENT reservations have a 1 week cancel. The CAMPING CABINS and DELUXE CAMPING CABINS have a 2 week cancel.

Cancellations for HOLIDAY/SPECIAL EVENT and GROUP reservations:

You will be charged your FULL STAY to guarantee your reservation. A $20 cancel fee will be retained for any reservation cancelled prior to the cancel rules listed above. Forfeit of the FULL STAY deposit will happen if cancellation happens within the one or two weeks prior to arrival depending on type of site reserved (see above).

In 2024, all cabins have a 2 night minimum and a FULL STAY deposit to guarantee your reservation.  Cancellations must be made by 4pm 2 weeks prior to your arrival date.  A $20 fee will be charged if you cancel prior to that; cancel within the two weeks prior to your arrival and will result in the loss of your full deposit.

National Cancellation Guideline

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel your reservation, please call the campground before the deadlines below to receive a refund of your deposit, less a $20 administrative cancellation fee. Text and email notifications of cancellations will not be accepted.

Cancellation Deadlines:

  • RV & Tent Sites: You must give 7 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., seven days before your scheduled arrival.
  • Lodging & Accommodations: You must give 14 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., fourteen days before your scheduled arrival.

For guests booking accommodations in California, a full refund will be given for reservations canceled within 24 hours of booking, provided the arrival date is at least 72 hours after the time of booking.

Cancellation Details:

  • Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits.
  • Cancellations made after the deadlines will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.
  • No refunds are given due to the discomforts of nature, including no-shows and early checkouts.
  • No refunds are given on or after the arrival date.
  • Refunds will be processed using the original credit/debit card, with no exceptions.
  • The cancellation policy may be amended during a Regional/National travel disruption.
  • Holidays and special events may have unique deposit and/or cancellation requirements. Please check with your selected KOA for details.
