Campground Cancellation Guideline

Campground Specific Cancellation Policy

For 2023, the HOLIDAY/SPECIAL EVENT Weekends are Memorial Day, July 4 (July 1-July 4), Labor Day, Clemson University Football Weekends (09/09, 9/16, 11/04 + Others when schedule released) and Thanksgiving (Nov 22,23,24,25).

HOLIDAY/SPECIAL EVENT and GROUP reservations have a 2 night minimum. RV/TENT reservations have a 1 week cancel. The CAMPING CABINS and DELUXE CAMPING CABINS have a 2 week cancel.

For HOLIDAY/SPECIAL EVENT and GROUP reservations, you'll be charged your FULL STAY to guarantee your reservation. A $10 service charge will be retained for any reservation cancelled prior to the cancel rules listed above. Forfeit of the FULL STAY deposit will happen if cancellation happens within the one or two weeks prior to arrival depending on type of site reserved (see above).

In 2023, all cabins have a 2 night minimum an and a FULL STAY deposit to guarantee your reservation.  If this is a non-holiday/special event or non-group reservation, the cancellation is by 4pm 1 week prior to your arrival date.  A $10 fee will be charged if you cancel prior to that; cancel within the one week and you will lose your full deposit.

National Cancellation Guideline

To guarantee your campsite, a deposit equal to at least your first night will be charged to your credit card at the time you make your reservation. Make your online reservations anytime, day or night, at KOA.com. You'll receive a confirmation email from the campground once you complete your reservation.

Need to Cancel? If you need to cancel your reservation, please call 800-562-5804 before the deadlines listed below to receive your deposit refund, minus a $10 cancellation fee. Text and email notifications of cancellations are not acceptable.

Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits. Cancellations made after deadlines will result in forfeiture of all deposits.

  • RV & Tent Sites: 48 hours cancellation notice is required. Notify your KOA by 4 p.m. two days before your scheduled arrival.
  • Camping Cabins: 7 days cancellation notice required. Please notify your KOA one week before your scheduled arrival.
  • Deluxe Cabins & Unique Accommodations: These units may have special deposit and cancellation requirements. Please check with your selected KOA campground location when making your reservations.
  • Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits. Cancellations made after deadlines will result in forfeiture of all deposits.
  • Holidays and special events may have special deposit and/or cancellation requirements. Special conditions may apply during high-demand periods and special events. Please check with your selected KOA for details.
