Very friendly staff, good sites and hookups. Knocked one star due to stickers we tracked into the RV.

We came to see the destruction caused by the fires. Restrooms were always clean and the camp ground was neat and clean.

At first the staff thought I was homeless because I wasn’t going to put up a tent because of the wind. We figured if I moved into a Kabin it would work for both of us. I’m now a konfirmed kabin kamper

Could have not asked for a better site, loved watching the trains. Staff was very friendly.

Great place. Level sites. Clean. Safe. Nice, nice and helpful staff. Great little store too. Loved the Mariachis who greeted us as we came in! We will be back!

We LOVE KOA’s however this one in Amarillo was not a pleasant experience. Weather was bad and it was a muddy mess. We can deal with that but not rudeness from the manager. We will not be visiting again. We do not recommend this KOA in Amarillo.

We were running late and were still greeted in person. This was 10:30pm, the latest we’ve ever arrived and was so nice to be led in the dark to our spot, and she was so pleasant even this late. Was a quick overnight stay but if we need to stay in Amarillo again, we will definitely choose this very nice, neat, and tidy kampground. Thank you so much!!!

Clean and friendly. Close to railroad tracks. Not a lot of shade. Great bathrooms.

The staff was lovely and showed me to my cabin, they were obviously very prepared for the influx of folks traveling back from the eclipse! The cabin was clean and well prepared. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The only thing keeping me from top marks across the board is due to location you get kind of a funky smell from the oil rigs (I think that’s what it is)

I cannot say enough about the staff. When we arrived, it was very windy, pouring rain. We pulled into the check -in line and a staff member in full rain gear came out to get our information. So much appreciated!

I’d give the campground a solid meh. Most expensive spot we stayed on our two week trip. And in the middle of a dust storm. In the middle of nowhere. The bathrooms were clean.

It was the day to leave and there was a dust/ Wind storm. They were able to find us an extra night even though they were fully booked. They have the best staff that always let us know what food truck was there. The food trucks were great! We were able to eat on the patio and feel like we were going out.

Amarillo KOA is a really nice, well maintained property. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Great place for us to unwind after a day on the road. 2 dog runs/playgrounds for our pup/kids. The store is well equipped with all your needs. I would definitely recommend this KOA if your travels take you this way.

Beautiful, clean, well-maintained campsite. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Very dog and family friendly. General store was so cute with nice selection of souvenirs. We can’t wait to stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at the Amarillo KOA, It was a great base to see several National Parks and Monuments as well as lots of other cool highway 66 attractions.

I found this KOA above average with a couple high notes. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The store was very nice inside with all the necessities and more. The bathrooms were very clean and the grounds were nice. Also they brought in a food truck, nice touch. The one item that I find a most KOA’s is the sites are not level. I this case the upper sites.

When we arrived after a long day of traveling, we were met by a staff member who checked us in, explained pass word and WiFi procedures, then led us to our sight. All this while we were in our vehicle! The sight was perfectly level, hookups were all conveniently together, and the stay was great!!! Will definitely stay here again. Oh, and the campground was very neat and clean!! Thanks!!

Pulled in late afternoon needed a spot for the night. Staff was friendly and helpful. Facility was clean and hot water. Site was by the dog run but people were respectful of the fact that we were there. Site was easy to find and love the fact that they let us sleep in our car.
