It’s a nice campground. Our site had a lot of garbage and dog poop we had to dodge while parking our camper.

Camp host and staff went out of their way to assure our stay was satisfactory to our needs. Camping at KOA Allendale is truly a family friendly experience for all ages.

Liked the family experience that was offered, just wish there was a way to prevent people from driving so fast through the park even with the signs saying 4.93mph.

We love your campgrounds!!! So friendly! So helpful! So pleasant! So clean! Lots to do! We WILL.... be back again! The colorful, musical hayrides are awesome, have seen them in the past, but had to sadly miss it this trip. Keep doing, what you are doing! It's a GOOD thing!!!

Nice campground. Clean staff friendly. Not your usual KOA right off freeway. Way out in the toolies so very quiet. Only downfall was no cable and TV reception was with antenna practically non existent.

Good place to stay. A little anal (wristband to show you are a legal camper and multiple speed limit signs -4.96 mph).

The campground is well maintained. The bathrooms and showers were always clean. We enjoyed our stay and will most likely return.

When we checked in, we were informed that we were being "upgraded" because campers on our site wanted to stay another day. They did not call to ask us. The new site was larger but had no shade. We liked the campground but this was really unfortunate. The other site was fully shaded with pine trees. Don't assume campers will want an upgraded site. Bathhouses could also use some tlc

Spent 4 nights so we could explore the area. Had a premium site that had a nice patio, table w/chairs, privacy fence and fire pit. Quiet and some shade, other sites had plenty of shade. New grass was muddy with rain. Office staff was friendly and helpful, store well stocked. Many activities to keep kids busy, and many quite a few seasonals. The tent sites were GREAT!

Staff was nice & helpful, showers undesirable. There were 2 bathhouses not close in proximity to our campsite, there were only 2 to 3 showers in each bathhouse, there was not a sidewalk to walk to shower at entrance of campground and you had to walk in the grass to get there, not good when it rained, internet-cable was horrible & had to exit camper to make calls & GPS didn't work until exited cam

Mohawk and his team were especially welcoming and kind to ALL visitors. It was obvious they take great pride in their operation and the guest experience. We left feeling as if we were a part of their family. Absolutely will return in the future.

The campground itself is nice. The bath house at the pool could use more lights, cleaning and updating. Overall it was a fine campground.

Very quiet with plenty of shaded sites. The restrooms and showers were kept up nicely and there were plenty of places for walking our dog. Highly recommend.

We used this as a base camp to see some of the area. The sites are nice and long, but you don't have privacy at your fire ring. Luckily we met some really nice people and we did fires together!

Loved the wooded campsites, rows of old growth pine trees. Spacious lots with brick firerings and picnic table. Very beautiful wooded campground, staff and owner were terrific. We'll maintained, quiet out of the city, no traffic noises. Pool was great, clean bathrooms basic stock store

Great stay. Our only issue when parking our coach at site 4 was the tree. Ended up backing over your grass. Our granddaughters loved all the activities your campground offered. Hope to see you again in our future travels.

Very very clean and quiet campground. Love the service where you can purchase firewood, ice, and etc. to the campsite and pay at one time. They deliver to your site in a very short time after your request. Staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. A lot of things for the kids to do while camping. I would defiantly recommend this campground.

Our family had the most incredible time! The bathrooms were cleaned several times a day, the showers here HOT (a requirement for me) and every staff person there was friendly and welcoming. Our vacation was so hot and humid, but we had a blast with the water wars and pool, the kids went fishing and I got to read by the pond with the ducks and frogs. The perfect vacation- we will be back~

The deluxe pad sites would be better if they had a BBQ. Other than that all was good. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Just overnight, but if we are in the area again, we will plan a longer stay. Owners are fantastic. Park is exceptionally clean and well maintained. Plenty of family activities.

Pros: We had a very relaxing stay! Our concrete patio and fire pit area was great!! Everyone was friendly! Cons: the grounds need some maintaining. The pond has no paths to fish, and was filled with algae , which was disappointing. Bldgs could use a bit of an update. All employees should wear a yellow KOA shirt.

This was an overnight stop on the way to another destination. As it was a difficult stop due to family illness we needed some assistance with checkout times due to our situation and you were most helpful in the flexibility we needed. Thank you so much. We've stayed at this KOA before and always found it very welcoming.

We were put in the farthest corner of the campground next to the place broken picnic tables & equipment go to die. We were far from all amenities except for the bathroom/shower. It was next to the dump station. One of the reasons we pay a bit more for KOA is to be around other like minded campers. We were alone. There weren’t even tent people. There were cabins up the road.

We love this campground. Mr. Mohawk is just so great, always welcoming. Our kids love it here too, so much fun activities to do. We have recommended this to our friends and we even have friends come and stay at the cabins due to our recommendations. We also love the park the way it is and hope it doesn’t completely turn into a pavement park. It is perfect with the wilderness it embodies now! T.Y

It was okay, the ponds could be nicer, like mowed down Or landscape in a way, maybe a few more free things to do for kids, maybe some free water ballons for the ballon target play item. Also i was waved down to slow my vehicle speed when i was 5 under thought it was a little rude. Maybe invest in a slash pad.

Things look run down a bit, the pool water had a bunch of bugs and leaves in it. I'm not happy with your policy about being refunded for days not used..we had to leave earlier than our booked stay and couldn't get refunded. I likely won't return to a KOA for that reason.

Fun little campground. They have two playgrounds on both ends of the campground. We definitely loved the pool in June. The tractor load of firewood is definitely worth it if you're spending more than just the weekend.

We stayed at this campground twice this month. We stayed the night of 11/28 and the staff was so kind to have our site clear of snow. Thank you so much. Easy late arrival check in. We recommend and would stay again.
