We were there for Memorial Weekend. The site we were in was on an end, so our campsite was larger. We have 2 dogs but didn't utilize the dog park they had simply because one of our dogs isn't a fan of being around others and the other one loves people more than other dogs, plus it was on the very opposite end of where our site was. We enjoyed our time there!

Staff was great. Very welcoming and friendly. Grounds were a bit run down (weeds on volleyball and b-ball courts). Terrible smell in the morning (from dump station?) Bathroom was well-kept though. Overall not a bad experience.

The washing machine didn’t accept quarters and the app had a $10 minimum charge. A little excessive for only needing 1 load done. The jumping pillow was covered in rocks but we weren’t allowed to have shoes on to jump. Mosquitos were very thick but manageable with bug spray. The time of year we stayed, the tree pollen was heavy. All of our allergies were going crazy.

The picnic table needed to be replaced. Some repairs around the campground are needed. The internet was spotty and no cable as advertised. Everything else was pleasurable. We would stay there again.

My boyfriend and I booked a tent site for a single night and definitely enjoyed our stay. We love to hammock so we enjoyed the layout of the site and how it was immersed in the trees. Luckily, the campground was not fully booked at the time of our stay so we did not have to worry about neighbors on both sides of our site. Very clean bathrooms, lots to do for kiddos, and we loved the goats as well!

This was our first stay as a new camper owner and it was a great stay! We've stayed in the cabins before and the whole family Lways has a great time. Now as a travel trailer owner we loved how spacious the sites were. We will definitely be staying again in the future!!!

Nice off the beaten path campground with very large and private campsites. Friendly staff but some areas need to be cleared of “stuff”

This is a solid, good KOA. We also stayed here about 5 years ago for a few days. Big improvements are in progress. They are putting in new concrete pads for bigger rigs with future possible construction of a road for future pull thru's! (As imparted to me in discussion with the owner). The campground itself could be more presentable if more attention to grass mowing as done!

The positive is the sites are large and lots of shade. The staff is very friendly. The negative is it needs updating. Old picnic tables, a run down building next to the jump pad. When first pull in there are 2 old run down RV's for sale. There is a dump site with all kinds of stuff to the right of the store. The mosquitoes were awful. Couldn't sit outside at night.

I was disappointed that the cabin we were assigned was the furthest from bathroom when the closest was vacant all weekend. The grass had not been mowed through out the campground. The bathrooms were very clean and kept that way. The staff was very friendly. Overall I probably won't go back, not much to see around area.

Beautiful campground with lots of trees, views of the river, two really nice dog parks. Within a short drive of Holland, Muskegon, New Haven and Grand Rapids. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great place with lots of activities for families. We recommend Allendale/West Grand Rapids KOA 100%!

Very friendly staff. The campground needs work. We had to pick up large branches just to back into our site. Tons of leaves and the grass needed mowing. I know the sites are in a wooded area but some raking would have been appreciated.

4 day stay. site location was good, more could have been done before we arrived - tall grass, sticks and branches. nice quiet and clean campground. Wifi barely usable at our site. Verizon 2 bars. Would stop there again.

Your camp has a lot of potentials, the campsite that we had was okay but without cleaning around the fire pit I would be afraid of setting the camp on fire. It appeared to have a large amount of pine needles in it as well a very heavy amount on the ground around the area. And lots of mosquitoes.

This is the best KOA hands down. Love the people and the sites are huge and very nice. The bathhouses are extremely clean. The service is fantastic and the staff is friendly. We will just keep coming back. Our entire family loves coming here for fun and family times.

Does seem unkept and an unfriendly lady in an golf cart came and yelled at us because my sister stopped to have dinner with us. Which made the third vehicle. We were clearly in the parking area of our spot and visiting inside at the time. She knocked on the door to yell at her. Place was half empty and not really cleaned up for spring so they had her move to a visitors lot next to a gravel pile

It was unfortunate that we were so close to our neighbors when the sites across the road from us which were the same type were empty the whole weekend. My kids loved the playgrounds, but a little sad to see the jump bubble was open yet.

This is an older campground. It looked like they were putting some money back into the campground but it was very dated. The campground had not been cleaned up since the fall. I had to clear off all the leaves and sticks from my site.

There was nothing in our reservation information or on the web saying bathrooms are closed until May 1. Our camper luckily has a toilet, but if we'd been coming in our old camper we'd have been... out of luck. Very disappointed this wasn't made apparent prior to booking. Otherwise, staff were nice and site was a good size, facilities seem older but kept up.

Nice campground with treed lots. Very slow wifi considering campground not at all full. Also, many empty sites but they gave us site right next to occupied permanent site. We could not open blinds on that side as would look directly into neighbors sunroof. Would have appreciated one of the other open sites a few spots away.

We were there in early December so most facilities were closed for winter, however we did enjoy our two night stay. Wifi worked great, play area neat and well maintained, and the staff is very helpful and friendly.

Fun little campground. They have two playgrounds on both ends of the campground. We definitely loved the pool in June. The tractor load of firewood is definitely worth it if you're spending more than just the weekend.

We stayed at this campground twice this month. We stayed the night of 11/28 and the staff was so kind to have our site clear of snow. Thank you so much. Easy late arrival check in. We recommend and would stay again.
