Nice clean and friendly campground!

Everything was great, except the WiFi was not reliable. Recycling would be a plus.

We stay here a lot on vacation and it never disappoints!

Such beautiful bathrooms, so clean and updated. Nice level sites. Loved the brewery behind the green gate.

Staff was super friendly. Facility was older but very well kept. There is a great little brewery next door that was a great recommendation from the staff.

Foremost, the staff is super nice & accomodating/helpful. We had to change our stay date twice, which they happily did at no charge. The park is small/simple. The reason for my rating:: our toy hauler 43.5', & imo the park access roads are not accomodating to this length.(we had to have 2 neighbors move trucks just to be able to pull-out). Plus, the pull thru sites are just small/narrow.

No wifi, no indoor club house , half of the washers and dryers were not functioning ….. all of these things are the reason we pick KOA Do not waste your money here!!!

Just over night, we were guided to the site and helped to get parked. Great tv channel selection even without the cable hooked up.

Fine over night stop. The upgrades to the showers are almost done. Nice sites. Close to great food and most anything you need. Sure wish the WiFi was usable.

As far as KOAs this one was one of my poorest experiences. The space was crowded (hard to get in and out) and the Wi-Fi did not work for my entire 3 night stay. The dumpsters were so packed it was hard to cram 1 more bag in! I’ve also stayed at the other Albuquerque area KOA and found it to be far superior.

The Bernalillo KOA is our go to place to stay when needing to be in the Albuquerque area. Eleanor was so kind and helpful in extending our stay and helping us when we had an issue. The grounds are cared for and they continue working on maintaining and improving this older but lovely campground.

Sites are tight, but lots of room for vehicle and a second one for guest. Sites are gravel but well maintained. Internet is very poor and had to go to the laundry room to get connected. Close to great restaurants.

Always a pleasure to stay here! Staff is always friendly and welcoming.

The wifi didn’t work!

There was a banging noise going on all night long. Couldn’t get any sleep. !!!

Easy, Kind

The main issue is the showers. There are no shelves, benches or anything on which to change. Only 2 hooks in the shower is not enough and the stall is too small, making it very easy for clothes and shoes to get wet. Other than that, the rest of the property is fine.

The camp was very clean and the staff are friendly people. It does need to update its WI-FI!!

Very friendly staff , nice campground, we didn't get to spend much time, had to get to our next destination, they were understanding.

This KOA advertises that there is a bus that stops at the campground and runs to the Santa Ana Casino, which is a few miles down the road. When we arrived we learned there is no such bus. We were further disappointed when we received the KOA park map that it advertised the casino bus as well. This was the only reason we stayed at this KOA. The campground was well maintained.

We needed a long-term spot for my husband's job. No parks in the area had availability. The manager made an exception and let us stay in a short-term spot. The staff was excellent. The sites were clean and well-maintained. We enjoyed our stay.

We checked in late and left early so we only interacted with the staff at Bernalillio KOA Journey over the phone. They were courteous and addressed our questions. The campsite and bathroom facilities were great and very clean! We enjoyed our brief winter time stay.

We had a vey comfy and quiet night but the fellow who filled our onboard propane tank just after we checked out, left it leaking/hissing. Later, an older male staffmember confronted me angrily at the dump station. First he accused me of using it as a non-guest without paying. Then when I showed him our tag, he shouted that we should have used the DS prior to checkout. "Checkout means YOU LEAVE."

This KOA is "Clean". The management is attentive and pro active to keep your stay the best it can be! They update the facilities before they get to anywhere close to a considered upgrade. We stayed the winter (just after the Balloon Festival thru mid February) and with more monthly occupants this is still the main daily stays for campers passing thru. Great Place and will stay again!!

We stayed here for 3 months while I had a contract job in Albuquerque. My husband and I had nothing but positive experiences at this KOA. Angie and Andrew (management), Debbie (front desk), Patrick, Greg, and Ryan (grounds/maintenance) were all great! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. You can tell the campground is well managed. The bathrooms are easily the nicest and cleanest of any rv park we've stayed at. There was one issue with an unruly camper while we were there, and management handled it swiftly and professionally. We always felt safe in the campground. I worked downtown at UNM, and my commute was 20mins easy. Great location to downtown while being out of town :) Also, super close to hiking trails! Our only critique would be that the picnic tables are a little too close to your neighbor's sewage. We would gladly stay here again, and highly recommend it to travelers coming through Albuquerque.

It was a nice surprise! We did an impromptu stop, and this camp is pristine and well kept. Staff was fantastic. And there's a nice little brewery next door with food and drinks. We will come back for sure!
