This campground has the designation of holiday so we expected a well-maintained campground with amenities. What we found was a campground in need of a lot of maintenance and upgrades. I gave it a one rating because it was a convenient place for us to stop and the staff was welcoming. The laundry equip was old and showed a lot of wear, the staff were not wearing the ubiquitous KOA shirts.

Nice updates since the last time we stayed in 2019. Great overnight on our way back from Arizona.

The Campground was okay but they had a lot of rain and most of the grounds had water problems. They need to put more gravel on the sites and roadway

The staff person was very nice and helpful. We failed to make a reservation, but they were able to accommodate us. The campground is useful for a quick overnight stay and run, however, the grounds are very muddy. There is a terrible lack of maintenance to the roads and sites. All sites need new gravel, leveling, and the roads as well.

Showers clean and hot. Check in staff friendly as was rest of staff. A little muddy after the heavy rain.

Due to rain the camp sites were muddy. Overall the camp sites were best suited for 35 ft or smaller campers. The staff at the campground were nice

It’s always a pleasant stay at this KOA. It is clean, quiet and the sites are spacious.

It was their first day open so there was a lot to be done on the property. Very nice hosts. I had to go behind the dryers and plug them in and 1 of the washers took over an hour due to poor water flow.

This is a very nice clean campground, and we will definitely be back! We booked online before the owners had opened for the season, and they were very accommodating for us as early birds!

Would not stay there again, felt creeped out…stayed in cabin 1.

They got us in even though they were closing for the season. They were very kind and helpful.

The camp host was very helpful and friendly. Since it was the end of the season, our host was closing down but allowed us to stay for the night. We appreciated his consent since the winds were very strong and we needed to get off the freeway.

We rented a deluxe cabin and it was very nice. Campground was nice and quiet. Owner and his son were very friendly. We had a great stay and will return next season.

We had a great time. Love fall camping. Staff is kind and helpful. The cabins need ac and the fire pits need grates over them for cooking. Otherwise a very clean and kind campground.

We just stayed overnight while passing through but our full hookup site was level and spacious. There was even a small store with ice cream and a good amount of books available to borrow for some reading. We'll stay again the next time we go through the area.

We chose this KOA because of it's proximity to the world famous SPAM Museum in Austin. I would recommend it because it is well maintained and clean. Some signage would be helpful for first time guests, but the small size makes the layout easy to learn.

Nice campground. We had car trouble and needed to stay for 4 days the owners where very accommodating and friendly! the sites are nice size the only thing full hooks up are limited. The store had a lot of options. Very nice KOA campground!

Nice KOA. Very clean. Hope the pool is open for the season when I return next year. Looks Olympic size and very deep.

They stay was excellent. This KOA is always well maintained and the staff is very friendly. Only complaint is we were in a pull through site at one end of the park and had no wifi reception.

We decided to head out here for a weekend to look for Wineries, see the Spam Museum, etc. Just a quick quiet visit. The sites were roomy, level, and easy to get in and out of. The facilities that we used were clean & well-kept. Very close to the interstate, but the noise wasn't nearly as bad as we expected. Surprising amount of shade for being in a cornfield. A decent stop-off for a longer trip.

Only one night and it was fine - arrived after office closed but no problem finding our site - only issue noise from highway but they can't do much about that!

Close off of I35. We like stopping here on of way to Minnesota. Easy in and easy out. Plenty of space.

Unfortunately we arrived after dark so we were unable to use the amenities, but it was a great stay. They left us a map that clearly directed us to our site which was easy to navigate & rather spacious.

Great stop. Friendly owners, always making improvements. All trimmed up, clean bathrooms. Great view . Lots of trees and grass walking areas for dogs!
