Good overall stay, muddy roads and pull through parking. One bathroom out of order for days. Staff nice and helpful.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Most rainy days since the 1940s. We have added over 14 loads of gravel and have more ordered. Bathroom not out of order....just trying to remodel during our off season. We are open year around so try to work on projects when we have no tent campers. Other showers were open.

Weather was a total down pour, so we didn't really get to see the Campground much. We look forward to returning when we can get out and enjoy!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Oh boy this winter has had an abundance of downpours. Finally had three more loads of gravel delivered today!
Feb 21, 2017
A little road noise but the staff make up for that minor annoyance.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for your stay...yep Hwy 34 is busy, however, makes it easy to find our park....yet folks just see the huge trees and still drive by.
Feb 16, 2017
Great people and friendly place.
Feb 15, 2017
Had a great stay. Staff had heater on in cabin

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

!Yep in the winter, we keep all cabin heaters on low...keeps the damp out of the logs and feels so much better.
Feb 14, 2017
Spaces are small. Wouldn't recommend for RV's over 30ft. Poor drainage. Wouldn't recommend for between Oct and May. Lot of standing water and grass areas turn to mud.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Above average rainfall. Yep, it is wet. Now the gravel is coming, three loads delivered to day. However, in the Western Willamette Valley...no one walks on the grass in the winter.

Thank you very much for accommodating me and my many schedule changes. I appreciate the coffee as well, however, the machine in #57 was dirty with leftover used coffee pod in it, so I did not use. Owners of this KOA are wonderful!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Great point, the cabin cleaner does not drink coffee and since it is a new addition we had neglected to add that item to the "cleaning list" it IS on the list now...thanks to you!
Feb 13, 2017
The camp ground was very wet. With all the rain they have had I expected it. But there was no way to keep the mud out. Loved the dog run which was dry. They need to put up a bigger sign for dog owners to clean up after their pet.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Had more gravel delivered today. What a winter....tons of rain, however sooooo green. We have a few additions for our K9 park...good idea.
Feb 11, 2017
Would be a five if it wasn't so muddy. Need gravel and drains. Otherwise, perfect. Grandson in college there so will be going back often.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Record breaking rainfall....however, in the Willamette Valley we have mud even when NOT record breaking. The entire park is engineered with underground tile. Have lots of gravel coming...we battle those muddy spots...one of these winters we will win! Thanks you your stay!!

no issues at all

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for staying with us!

Not sure what it is like in the summer months but it is in a rainy area and mud puddles every where including around the RV. The water would run from clear to yellow to almost orange at times. Unfortunately there are not many campgrounds in this area.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Yes, as Lewis and Clark wrote in their journals "Does it ever quit raining in the Willamette Valley in the winter" Always puddles and that is why so green. The soil on our 33 acres is mostly clay...that is why we finally got the ok to build...not great for farming.
Jan 17, 2017
The woman that helped us check-in was absolutely wonderful. We asked for some dinner suggestions, and enjoyed one of them. She was very helpful. The cabin itself was also very nice. The bathrooms were kept very clean. We will be staying here again when we come back to Corvallis!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We love you happy campers...
Jan 13, 2017
excellent. peaceful. great road to take long walk with dog.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Hope to have new dog activity item in place in our K9 park b4 your next visit!
Jan 13, 2017
very muddy but most of all our power kept cutting out and no one to help us. I'll never stay at that KOA again

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Oh dear soooo sorry. Thank you for the heads up. Only one RV has had a problem this winter...we went right out they had 2 electric heaters plugged in and their breaker could not handle it. We checked your site and both outlets are working.

The camp office is staffed in the morning & afternoons till 6. But if you arrive when the staff is away they leave instructions on the bulletin board.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

...and we write notes on paper plates...in 30 years we have tried everything for notes and our number 1 success is THE paper plate...EVERYONE reads it!

We only stayed one night but would love to spend some more time at the site! It was easy to reserve and upon arrival the camp host was great. Loved the camp K9! The dogs needed that much needed freedom after being locked up in the RV

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Merry Christmas and DO come visit again!

Only issue is the campsite wasn't very "rain" friendly. Needs to be leveled out so not so easily flooded out.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Yep...hard for the Willamette Valley to be rain friendly. We have a load of gravel delivered every two weeks. Will recheck that site and work on leveling the gravel...have the entire park tiled...takes a while to drain...it is all engineered. A requirement ... in this Green Willamette Valley.
Nov 29, 2016
Our site was flooded, muddy and uneven to the point we had to pull way forward and forgo the sewer hookup so we could get in the trailer without stepping in a 4" deep muddy puddle. The showers had so little water pressure In The women's I could never get the soap off my body
Nov 29, 2016
Friendly. They also have controlled the rain water well with gravel.
Nov 28, 2016
Lover the ladies in the store!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We better make sure they receive a special Christmas Gift!

We had a very nice clean campsite. Arrived late and picked up the information left out for us to find our site. appreciated the service very much. loved the fenced in exercise area for our Aussie, she loved the place to run safely and get in her exercise. We also appreciated being allowed to check out late which allowed us to attend church services on Sunday morning with our son and his family.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

W!e LOVE campers like you! A Blessed Advent to ou LCMS friends!
Nov 28, 2016
We LOVE staying here during OSU Football season. The staff is so nice and helpful. We have even told our friends about the KOA for Dad / Mom Weekends. It is perfect.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We love our Beaver fans! It is going to get even better!!
Nov 28, 2016
We normally enjoy this KOA however this last stay was quite unpleasant. The site we were in was flooded due to the heavy rains so it was messy to get in and out of our rv. The grass was extremely soggy and there was not enough gravel on the pad. Our worst stay ever!!!!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Yep...record levels of rain in Oct and Nov...will work on that site...we have our gravel company down to bring a load every two weeks. In winter in Western Oregon one cannot walk on the grass without boots...but is it EVER GREEN.
Nov 24, 2016
Nice KAO. My only complaint is that when it rains there are a lot of big puddle areas.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Yep....water is our strong suit. Just completed spreading another load or gravel for puddles and the next load is scheduled for this week. Record breaking rain....need it to sprinkle down in Southern Cal!
Nov 21, 2016
This is a very average to below average campground - standard for a KOA. The bathrooms are very worn and red maintenance including better cleaning. The best thing about this KOA is that it's close to OSU. For that reason it is typically full months in advance for events. I would not stay here otherwise
Nov 21, 2016
Clean facility, helpful staff at check-in. This was the first time we ever stayed at a KOA (stayed in a cabin), and we will be back.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We love our OSU campers! Thanks for staying with us and GOOO BEAVS!
Nov 21, 2016
Our stay was nice it rained the whole time so everything was muddy beside that a really nice KOA front desk lady was awesome and very sweet

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Wow, the rain is winning this year. Rivers are full here and in Northern California Mt Shasta finally has snow....sounds good for next summer.
Nov 20, 2016
We usually travel in an RV but stayed overnight in a cabin while traveling through. Front desk staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The cabin was comfortable but hadn't been dusted or swept. There was an infestation of some kind of beetle that the area apparently gets every fall. They were all over the outside of the cabin and it was a losing battle trying to keep them from coming in.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Those are our "Box Elders"...all over the Willamette Valley. We use "Good Earth Pest Company" (1 mile from us) on a regular basis to spray all our cabins and building. They are pesky...We refuse to say "losing battle" hope OSU will find a way to rid the Valley of them. So Sorry!
Nov 20, 2016
It was easy and great!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

And you are great. We love our "Happy Campers"!
Nov 20, 2016
My first camping test trip, A little to much mud around the campground but other than that, all was well

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Yes, next load of gravel is coming. With our rainfall and green, green grass comes the mud. We have all puddles and mud on the "fill" list! Note the entire entrance is paved. However, wet is wet even on pavement. Gotta love the green Willamette Valley.
Nov 19, 2016
Came in late with no reservation. Easily found site. Clean facilities. Stay here often.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Love our Fall Campers!
Nov 17, 2016
Very pleasant staff. Great 1 night stay and perfect site for 35 ft 5 th wheel. Excellent WiFi.
Nov 14, 2016
We enjoyed our stay here and will consider bringing our grandchildren back to take advantage of the pool and miniature golf. We paid extra for a site with WiFi but it did not work well.
Nov 14, 2016
good value
Nov 10, 2016
Nov 10, 2016
Way too much mud!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

yep! October brought our area twice the amount of rainfall normal for October. We had one load of gravel brought in and 5 more ordered. Will get site 1 up to parr. Since the park is so busy it is difficult to find a day when the site is empty. Thank you for your comments!
Nov 07, 2016
We have stayed here several times. This last trip was great as usual. Staff are really nice and park was clean.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

And a Blessed Thanksgiving to you. We appreciate your visit!
Nov 03, 2016
This was our first stay at the Corvallis KOA. It was a great experience, the staff was friendly. This KOA was a great "in-between Central Oregon and the Oregon Coast" place to stay, so we could fully enjoy The Enchanted Forrest and not have to drive all day to get to Seaside the next day.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for your stay and that Enchanted Forrest is REALLY fun....especially the live plays in their outdoor theater.
Nov 02, 2016
Our site was vulnerable to excessive rain. Needs better drainage. It was a mud hole the weekend we stayed.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Yep, scheduled for gravel on 11/3/16 and delivered. Now plan on topsoil for the large grass area in site 12. Our October had TWICE the normal rainfall, boy oh boy are we ever green! Next time hopefully the mud will be gone.
