This KOA is very nice: clean & well maintained. We liked the dividers between the campsites-gives a sense of privacy. The bathroom was very clean & the showers were great-hot water & good pressure. The staff was very friendly & helpful.

Everyone whom I interacted with in the office and on the grounds were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The site that we were assigned to, was perfect for our rig and the staff ensured that they kept our site close to our family member's site who were traveling with us. Clean grounds. This is the only RV park that we would consider staying at again in Alamogorodo!

Friendly and easy check in. The sites are arranged in ways to give more privacy than many locations. Escort to site was nice. Great location to WSNP and conveniences of town.

I was on site 16 which was level. Very friendly and complete RV Campground within the town and 21 miles from White Sands and easy access to Cloudcroft. I also traveled to Lincoln which is 1 hr and 27 minutes. The town has the Space Museum and a History Museum that are both excellent. The Alamogordo setting is fantastically beautiful.

Overall this is a very nice KOA. The grounds are well kept. The only recommendation is that the men's showers need some updating. It seems as if the shower walls are fiberglass but have been painted over that paint was pealing in all of them and it looked a bit grose.

Very nice stay. I was greeted and felt very much at home. Was informed of all there was there and given a map which guided me to my site. The lady that check me in was so very friendly. I would recommend staying there. I had a pull through site which was very convenient.

Cement enclosure and picnic table arrangement was nice. Friendly staff. Free sleds for White Sands dunes was great. One issue was that two of the four men’s room shower stalls were inoperable.

Awesome people! I had some trailer frame damage from my travels and it was no problem getting service into the park. This camp was great with communication and the grounds are spotless. Great family camp!

I would like to thank the staff for being so accommodating. We had a medical emergency and they were wonderful to us by letting us stay as long as we needed and holding days in case we needed them.

This is one of the most pleasant KOAs at which I have stayed. It was set up in way that made the site very private even though we were very close. Southwestern motiff throughout. I spent 3 years of my childhood here, so I wanted to do some exploring. Some KOAs have had maps of the town. That would have been nice. We explored the town without it. My Verizon pne did not work in town.

We received the friendliest welcome, it made check-in enjoyable. Our site was very easy to pull into which was nice having a 37' trailer. The washroom/showers were modern and very clean. We were only there for 1 full day, so didn't use the facilities. There was a book and video library and they even loaned us some sleds for the White Sands Park.

Super friendly staff. They have free sleds to borrow for sledding at the White Sands National Park, therefore saving you from having to buy one. There is a train that goes by and blows its whistle several times in the evening hours. Clean pet park.

One of the cleanest and most well-organized KOA’s we have stayed in. The kids loved the playground and we all loved the patio and fire pit. Our only negative was that the train woke us up several times each night, but we recognize that the KOA managers have no control over this.

Good place for a quick overnight. The location is a little uninspiring, but handy from the Highway. Bathrooms were modern enough and clean - important to us. It seems like there were some long term residents in the back, where we were placed. Quiet enough on a rainy midweek stay.

Lovely campground; helpful and friendly hosts; great Camp K9 for our doggies; fabulous water pressure; immaculate bathrooms & showers. We loved that it was large enough to accommodate large rigs, but small enough that we didn't feel lost in a crowd. Will definitely be back. There are trains every night and during the day, but not obnoxious. Close to White Sands, Space Museum, Pistachio Land.

Quick 3 night stay. It was a convenient campground downtown but wasn't on a loud main road, so provided a sense of seclusion. The sites were spacious so you didn't feel on top of your neighbor. The complementary sleds and wax for White Sands was a wonderful perk.

Very nice KOA, clean bathrooms and hot showers, privacy block walls between camp sites. The camp hosts were helpful and kind. Small store with some food items and RV supplies, plus propane and firewood for sale.

Very spacious site E6. Privacy fences. Close to White Sands NP. Stayed here mid-Feb 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. All gravel. Site #E6 General: Nice store and grounds. Easy access. Well-maintained with updated facilities. Staff: Staff is great! Owners are caring and polite. Sites: Spacious gravel sites with some privacy from fences. Large rock gravel. Campground Road: Gravel road. Campground WiFi: Could not always connect to campground WiFi Grounds: Clean and maintained really well. Bathrooms/Showers: Women's showers were really nice—newly renovated! Private locked rooms. The men's showers were old and a bit smelly/dirty. Stall-style showers with a locking door to the stall. Laundry: Really nice newly renovated facility and the machines worked very well. Dried and washed well. Location: Gas, groceries, and restaurants all within 5-10 min. 20 min from White Sands NP. Near highway: No. You do turn off of the main road (route, not an interstate) and go back a few blocks so minimal road noise. Near train: Yes. Train is close but not immediately connected to the KOA. Cell using booster: AT&T (2 of 4 bars —4G) and Verizon (3 of 4 bars sometimes 4 bars—4G) worked well enough. Worked on VPN just fine and have Zoom meetings. Small moments of lag when using AT&T. Could stream as well on both networks.

This place was great! Safe, friendly. Nice private dividing walls. The kids played on the playground and also the pedal cars. Bathrooms were clean. All staff was friendly. It was away from the main road so not alot of road nose. Except for an occasional train tooting it's horn. We loved this place and we'll be coming back when visiting white Sands. Thank you!
