New to the KOA experience, but we will always look for them before other campgrounds now. This one in particular had sleds that we could use for white sands for free. They cost $25 each at the park. Manager was extreamly friendly.

The staff is very friendly. It’s very close to White Sands National Park. They have free sleds you can borrow. I recommend getting wax for the sleds easier to maneuver. The bathrooms are clean and they have a great pool.

It was a short stay, but all in all it was pretty good. More signs for direction would have nice, but the park was clean and quiet, and the staff was friendly

Very nice site the separation walls give privacy. Check in was nice the people were friendly and gave great info on local sites

Perfect place to stay for visiting White Sands. We didn't use the amenities but the park was great and the pool looked clean. Also, I love that they let you borrow sleds for White Sands. That extra little bit of effort towards customer service goes a long way. Alamagordo has a walmart and lots of restaurants too if you need anything.

The gentleman who greeted us was very pleasant and welcoming. The campground was clean and nice, but spots were pretty close. Showers were good (and free). They provided wax for our sleds for White Sands (and had sleds to loan out)! .

We had such a wonderful stay at the White Sands KOA. The staff was amazing and the amenities were greater than expected. It is located close to so many places. We had a nice patio, beautiful green grass and a gas grill available at our site. The swimming pool and play ground were perfect for the kids. We will definitely be staying the next time we come to visit family. It was perfect!

We had an ample sized pull thru site with a large shade tree. We had no issues in our 1 night stay. The rest room was clean and well lit.

Our site # 28 was very nice. The park was clean and we enjoyed all the cacti on the property. Centrally located to all the attractions, so very convenient. Laundry was clean and the machines worked well. They sold stamps and we were able to mail our postcards at the main desk. Highly recommended

We really enjoyed staying at the Alamogordo, NM KOA again, as we had stayed there a couple years earlier. The maintenance guy Dave was very helpful at getting our TV up and working with the cable. Very friendly, and their supplies they had in stock were very plentiful. We had a vanity light go out in the bathroom and we were able to replace all three! Win-Win.

We stayed for a total of 4 nights. The campground is kept in immaculate shape, and the employees are friendly and professional. The restrooms are extremely clean. We will visit again for sure.

This is one of the nicest, cleanest and most friendly RV Parks. The showers are immaculate; the sites are very level. The park is very quiet. We enjoyed our stay there. We would give more than 5 stars if we could.

This park is awesome! Love the spots which are roomy and they have great amenities. The staff was super helpful and we highly recommend staying there. If we come back there again, we will definitely stay there.

Very nice fully equipped RV sites. It included a fire pit, gas grill large patio and privacy fence on both sides of site. Beautiful campground.

Excellent campground and welcoming staff. We stayed in a 5th wheel for 3 days. Nice clean site. A visit to White Sands National Monument is a must if you are in the area. Great town with plenty of shopping and restaurants.

Very friendly staff. Campground, including the bathrooms & showers were clean. Campsites were level for the most part made up of stone. Good water pressure at site. WiFi was good for emails, but may not be good enough for streaming movies or gaming. Will definitely return next year.

Everything was great and as expected. Clean, well kept grounds and bathrooms. We just stayed for a quick overnight trip while passing through. The best part was the woman who runs the front office - very welcoming & sweet!

We were so grateful to pull in to such a beautiful spot! We were in our fifth wheel and they guided us to an easy pull through. The entire grounds are so well maintained, staff was supportive, knowledgeable and friendly. Laundry facilities were clean and bright…I didn’t mind sitting there at all. Nice little gift shop.

Very spacious site E6. Privacy fences. Close to White Sands NP. Stayed here mid-Feb 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. All gravel. Site #E6 General: Nice store and grounds. Easy access. Well-maintained with updated facilities. Staff: Staff is great! Owners are caring and polite. Sites: Spacious gravel sites with some privacy from fences. Large rock gravel. Campground Road: Gravel road. Campground WiFi: Could not always connect to campground WiFi Grounds: Clean and maintained really well. Bathrooms/Showers: Women's showers were really nice—newly renovated! Private locked rooms. The men's showers were old and a bit smelly/dirty. Stall-style showers with a locking door to the stall. Laundry: Really nice newly renovated facility and the machines worked very well. Dried and washed well. Location: Gas, groceries, and restaurants all within 5-10 min. 20 min from White Sands NP. Near highway: No. You do turn off of the main road (route, not an interstate) and go back a few blocks so minimal road noise. Near train: Yes. Train is close but not immediately connected to the KOA. Cell using booster: AT&T (2 of 4 bars —4G) and Verizon (3 of 4 bars sometimes 4 bars—4G) worked well enough. Worked on VPN just fine and have Zoom meetings. Small moments of lag when using AT&T. Could stream as well on both networks.

This place was great! Safe, friendly. Nice private dividing walls. The kids played on the playground and also the pedal cars. Bathrooms were clean. All staff was friendly. It was away from the main road so not alot of road nose. Except for an occasional train tooting it's horn. We loved this place and we'll be coming back when visiting white Sands. Thank you!
