My time in Alamogordo is something I look forward to. It's become an important part of my life and I wouldn't have it any other way. Owners Kelly and Sandy have committed to creating a culture and atmosphere that is friendly and family oriented and the amount of return visits by campers is evidence of their effectiveness. I have been to over 50 KOAs, and Alamogordo is the best. I love it here.

Excellent stay. One night stop over during return trip from Arizona to Eastern Ontario. Friendly and very helpful staff. Clean facilities.

Loved the entertainment Friday night, morning coffee, and popcorn. The staff were friendly and helpful, the grounds and washrooms were very clean. Thanks you made our stay in the white sands area more enjoyable.

peaceful, wonderfully cared for campground, spacious sites with shade and wall against the wind, clean bathouse, coffee in the mornings, sink to wash dishes, nice staff, Friday live music - everything your heart can reach out for, very convenient for a trip to the White Sands National Park

The staff is super friendly. Facilities, laundry room and bathrooms/showers were clean. I appreciate that owners are investing in improvements, like new playground, clean k-9 dog area. In general staying was a good experience and I would stay here again.

The environment was comfortable and friendly. Grounds were well cared for. There was ample lighting and electrical and water sources.

Very friendly staff. Close to Highway for getting back on. Plenty of places to eat in town. Sore was great, just got for our 41’ fifth wheel. Would highly recommend this campground. We plan on coming back next spring for on our way home to Minnesota.

We checked in a tad early and they were very accommodating. We had a nice site. Staff was very helpful with dining suggestions. We enjoyed it!

We found a lot more to do in the area than we had planned because the staff was so helpful. They met our every needs.

Had issues with trailer breaks and staff was able to refer us to people to help. Also had sleds available for White Sands

Nicely kept grounds. Our site had a bbq with propane, pretty new and well maintained.

This was our 3rd stay at the Alamogordo KOA. The KOA host are welcoming and the facilities are immaculate. Added bonus to our weekend was live music and an Easter egg hunt. This KOA is fun for all ages!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Alamogordo KOA. The staff was super friendly and helpful, facilities were more than adequate and always clean, campsites were good size and well maintained. We would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed the live music on Friday. We thought the showers and bathrooms were fantastic. Loved the store. Also, friendly campers and very kind employees.

Our confirmation stated we were to have a 30/50amp site. Instead, we were given a 20/30amp site. It's a good thing we had an adapter! We had TV cable which we didn't want or use, but paid for it; not what we were SUPPOSED to be paying for. A rude worker appeared in the dark and said we pulled in the wrong way. Didn't intro himself or welcome us. He was RUDE! Won't stay here ever again!

We had to change our reservation several times due to a road mishap and weather. They were very kind during the whole process. KOA is definitely a step above!

My family and I stayed in a cabin for 2 nights and it was super good! We came in late but check-in was very easy. I wish there was access to the toaster oven and microwave after the store closed, like if it was in the 24 laundry.

We had a great time. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. I called before arrival to check about mail delivery and to extend our stay. Every answer was super, no problem. During our stay, Sandy and Mark were especially helpful too. This is one of the nicest KOAs we have stayed at; campground is nicely decorated, facilities nice and clean, and campsites ship-shape. oh my. what a great stay. such friendly staff with many suggestions for things to do. Thanks to Mark for the recommendation to go to Cloud Croft. our site was huge and the lady at the front desk that suggested Sparkys in Hatch. We had a blast. Bathrooms are clean as well as the laundry room with very reasonable rates. Thank you for such a great stay.

Very spacious site E6. Privacy fences. Close to White Sands NP. Stayed here mid-Feb 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. All gravel. Site #E6 General: Nice store and grounds. Easy access. Well-maintained with updated facilities. Staff: Staff is great! Owners are caring and polite. Sites: Spacious gravel sites with some privacy from fences. Large rock gravel. Campground Road: Gravel road. Campground WiFi: Could not always connect to campground WiFi Grounds: Clean and maintained really well. Bathrooms/Showers: Women's showers were really nice—newly renovated! Private locked rooms. The men's showers were old and a bit smelly/dirty. Stall-style showers with a locking door to the stall. Laundry: Really nice newly renovated facility and the machines worked very well. Dried and washed well. Location: Gas, groceries, and restaurants all within 5-10 min. 20 min from White Sands NP. Near highway: No. You do turn off of the main road (route, not an interstate) and go back a few blocks so minimal road noise. Near train: Yes. Train is close but not immediately connected to the KOA. Cell using booster: AT&T (2 of 4 bars —4G) and Verizon (3 of 4 bars sometimes 4 bars—4G) worked well enough. Worked on VPN just fine and have Zoom meetings. Small moments of lag when using AT&T. Could stream as well on both networks.

This place was great! Safe, friendly. Nice private dividing walls. The kids played on the playground and also the pedal cars. Bathrooms were clean. All staff was friendly. It was away from the main road so not alot of road nose. Except for an occasional train tooting it's horn. We loved this place and we'll be coming back when visiting white Sands. Thank you!
