We had RV problems, and all the staff were so friendly and helpful! The KOA is very well kept and clean.The Friday night music was fun. If we are ever in the area again, we would most definitely stay at Alamogordo/White Sands KOA!

A beautiful facility with clean restrooms and a well furnished activity room. I really enjoyed the landscaping on the grounds featuring beautiful specimens of cactus.

Only one night stay. We were travelling with another couple and asked to be put t ogether but they said they couldn't, yet there were plenty of empty spots during our stay. The pool was small and needed some work to sides. It also was not very clear and the sides at the top needed some cleaning. Only had a couple tables and only one umbrella so there was very little shade during a 100 degree day.

The hosts were so lovely, and everything was so clean and well maintained. We really appreciated the use of sleds for the park! The grounds are in a pretty urban setting for what I imagine “camping” to be, but we were safe and secluded and well-located for our visit to White Sands. Very grateful for the care the hosts took in making everything as nice as possible.

We were not impressed with the town of Alamogordo but this KOA was like a little oasis. Nice people, clean and pretty park. Big sites and great pool. Enjoyed our overnight stay.

Nice park. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our site was flat and in good condition. The pool was great but a bit cloudy. Laundry room was ok. Clean bathrooms with nice showers. nice little dog park. A little noisy with the trains, but not horrible. Good location for us stopping over to see White Sands National Park. Would stay again.

The park is clean and the host Sandy is friendly and helpful. The amenities are well kept and you’re working a half hour of the NP, which is about average for that area. You can borrow sleds for the NP which is a great plus. If in the area again, we would stay.

Beautiful surroundings, excellent accommodations, clean, and extremely friendly staff. The sled loans for white sands national park were a bonus. Highly recommend staying here.

Sometimes I stay here for a long time and sometimes I am only here for two or three weeks. like this time. I recommend this KOA to anybody. The staff is GREAT, lots to see and do in Alamogordo, NM and you are always welcome to drop in. I plan to come back the second or third week in January for one week. I am already looking forward to that visit.

The staff here were amazing! Everyone we encountered was very friendly. The whole office had a family feel. We loved the game room (free) and the fact that we could borrow sleds (also free). Our site was great and we loved cooking off in the pool. Highly recommend!!!

Great place. Lots of amenities! I tried to order something at the restaurant but left after half an hour. There was only one person working. She was turning people away. Otherwise, great experience.

Such a great KOA! We stayed in a camping cabin that was very comfortable during a heat wave! The little flower pots out front were a nice touch. The pool was wonderful and open during the hours you'd want it open. The extra little touches like popcorn, sand dune sleds and restaurant recommendations, etc. were wonderful. Sandy was an excellent and friendly help with anything we requested! Loved it!

This is my second time staying at this KOA, and I love it. Everything is clean and well-kept. It is always a pleasure to ask for information at the front desk. Additionally, it is really well located without being right on a busy road.

Good clean campground for pass through stays or if you want close access to White Sands National Park. Nothing fancy. The owners were nice emailed me about my stay. Campground is a bit on the older side and could use some updating but nonetheless, it was clean and well kept. Would stay here again if I was passing through for the night.

The staff was friendly and helpful! One of the ladies assisted my children in tie dying a souvenir bandanna, using sharpie markers and rubbing alcohol, while I packed up the camp site! This meant a lot for me because I have 3 children, a 13 year old, 7 year old and 3 year old, so having them entertained, making positive memories while I broke down site was a big help!

Nice resort. Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice pool.....despite the record heat (stayed 6/29-7/2), the pool water was cool and refreshing. Camp sites are gravel and fairly level. But little to no shade (no surprise given the area).

Very nice campground and sites. Only passing through but plan ongoing back for a longer visit. The in-town location isn't the greatest but the amenities are excellent and the staff extremely nice.

This was honestly my first experience with a KOA, and after my stay I am definitely a big fan. The site was clean and tidy. The staff were very nice and welcoming. I can say I would really like to come back and stay again.

Sandy was amazing. So kind and helpful. Thanks for the sleds, the movie rentals, popcorn, clean laundry room and fun play room. Cute gift shop. Close to white sands and pistachioland.

We loved this visit. The entire campground is well kept and clean. We came in a late and the process for after hours check in was really smooth. Would highly recommend this location!

This place was great! Safe, friendly. Nice private dividing walls. The kids played on the playground and also the pedal cars. Bathrooms were clean. All staff was friendly. It was away from the main road so not alot of road nose. Except for an occasional train tooting it's horn. We loved this place and we'll be coming back when visiting white Sands. Thank you!
