Fancy Gap KOAMeet Your Hosts For Mark and Cheryl Manning, owners of the Fancy Gap/Blue Ridge Parkway KOA in Virginia, the decision to get in the campground business was realized when the two decided they wanted a change of pace. Cheryl, an administrative assistant with a home builder in Phoenix and Mark owner of his own painting and wall covering business knew that they wanted a change from their jobs. "For years we had dreamed about owning a campground but the timing wasn't right." Finally in August of 2005, the timing worked out and these owners truly love what they are doing, and they are having a great time doing it. "Our philosophy is to try and make all our campers "happy kampers" says Cheryl. Their passion for the campground is sure to be shown from the newly remodeled store and check in desk, to every camp site which is kept in tip top shape and always looking good. When they're not working at the campground, Mark and Cheryl can be found camping and traveling in the off season. Come meet The Manning Family. |
