Niagara Falls KOAMeet Your Host Ginny Gunn, general manager of the Niagara Falls, NY KOA Kampground, knows what she likes when she sees it. She has been a campground manager in Las Vegas and in Kissimmee, Florida, but Niagara Falls is her favorite, by far. "I love the wildlife, the seasons (yes, even the snow) and the people here," says Ginny. Ginny's top goal is to treat her guests as she would like to be treated. "I like to know that my guests are having fun and enjoying the campground and that they feel safe. We have many local return guests who are comfortable here, know what to expect, and love the activities that we do here in the campground." A camping trip that Ginny, her mom, and her niece's family enjoyed ten years ago was a treat of quality family time that she hopes all of her camping guests can experience. "We arrived at the campground and picked two sites side-by-side with lots of trees and set up camp. The kids were off to shop at the store and swim and we relaxed at the site. We enjoyed each others' company so much that the boat we'd brought never saw the water. After dinner, we sat around the campfire telling stories and playing "operator"- the game where a secret travels between people and the last person in the circle tells it aloud - what a hoot that was! We had family visiting from Germany and the translations were very comical at times! Mom spent most of the first night gazing at the stars, not believing how beautiful it was. The kids made friends who they still keep in touch with. To me there is nothing like camping to get everyone together to spend quality time. We still talk about that trip and how much fun we all had together." Ginny loves camping, photography, motorcycles, gardening and her pet birds and Yorkie Poo puppies. "They're so much fun!
