Topeka / Capital City KOA Open all year The Capital City / Topeka KOA is the largest and top rated campground in the Topeka area. All the sites are full service with free WiFi internet access. Our KOA is located on the south edge of Topeka, just minutes from downtown and close to all the area attractions. New amenities for 2010 include a new Studio Lodge and the Hayloft Theatre, with movies on both Friday and Saturday nights. This, along with our new Monster Playground and refurbished Farmall tractor for Hayrack rides, assures everyone will have a great time! Our main building is a turn-of-the-century barn, which houses our general store, recreation hall, exercise area, meeting rooms, restrooms, and one of two laundries on site. We can host your group/club functions in our climate controlled meeting area with kitchen. No RV? No problem! We have three choices in rental units. Our cabin sleeps 4 and our bunkhouse sleeps 6. Both have refrigerators, an outside cooking area, and picnic tables. Our new studio lodge sleeps 4 and has a refrigerator, microwave, full bathroom, flatscreen TV, and an outside cooking area, (an excellent idea, for the non-roughing it types). Other amenities include: three fishing ponds, swim beach with floating dock, game room, horseshoes, volleyball, and Kamp K-9 for the family dog.
