HORSEBACK TRAIL RIDES & PONY LED RIDES

we now have great horseback trail rides for 1/2 hour or for a full hour. the trails our beautiful and very senic. we have buddy seats for the little ones to ride with a parent if they choose. if they just want to go on a led pny ride around the park we also have those. lots of fun for the whole family!

COFFEE SHOP

Coffee shop is sure to put a smile on your face. Two flavors of cappuccino, hot chocolate and of course coffee. Get some donuts or pastries and you're all set to start your day.

TENT KITCHEN

Tent kitchen is the perfect set up for those tenters who want an area just to sit and cook under a covered area. Complete with grill, sink with running hot/cold water, and a place to see with those meals. Come and enjoy!

PETTING ZOO

Petting zoo has an animal you'll love to feed. Goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, peacocks, bunnies and more. We have 5 baby goats that were just born. They will be your best friend with that cup of food from the office to feed them. Yum! Yum!

PATIO SITES

Patio sites are sure to please the weary drivers. Get out on the cobblestone pads with wrought iron furniture to relax on. Then grill or start a fire in the grill/pit for those smores. Are ya ready?

THE LODGES

Lodges are here and doing very well. What a way to get away. They have flat screen tvs, refrigerators, full bathrooms, microwaves, an kitchen supplies(pots & pans, kitchen towels, silverware and dishes serving 5 people). Close to all amenities.

New! Deluxe Kamping Kabins

New are the deluxe one and two room kamping kabins. Now are complete with flat screen tvs and refrigerators. They are close to restrooms and all amenities. Somewhere between the kamping kabins and the lodges.

PET PLAYGROUND

Pet playground to let your "babies"(4-legged), run in an enclosed area off that lease. Seating for you to enjoy them playing and having fun.

STATE HISTORIC SITE

New Echota Cherokee Capital is located in Calhoun one mile east of I-75 exit#317 on Hwy 225. Once capital of the Cherokee Nation, visitors can tour original and reconstructed historic buildings. The museum offers a video presentation about the Cherokee life. 706-624-1321 is the phone number if more information is needed.

CHEIF VANN HOUSE

This State Historic Site is located outside of Chatsworth at the intersection of Hwys. 225 and 52-A. It is on 26 acres with a 1/2 mile Nature Trail, Visitor Center and Film, Guided House Tour and a museum with interpretive exhibits on the Vann family and the Cherokee. Great history!

CARTERS LAKE

3000 great acres for fisherman, hunters, boatsmen, bikers, hunters, and campers. Before the creation of the Lake, this portion of the Coosawattee was known as one of the best white water rapids in the eastern United States.
