Santa Cruz / Monterey Bay KOAMeet Your Hosts Linda and John Evans have a simple business philosophy. GREAT customer service is not just an important thing - it is the only thing. Linda and John owned and operated an award winning KOA park in Northern California for 12 years. Prior to purchasing their park, they were both in corporate customer service businesses. They learned early on that the best way to keep a customer is to treat them well. After selling their park they went to work for KOA Corporate as park inspectors and consultants. They traveled to over 100 parks in the West, Southwest and Canada. They were eager to get back in the "people" business, so when an opportunity to manage the Mystic KOA came up, they were happy to take on the challenge. Linda and John managed the Mystic CT KOA for 2 years. "It was one of KOAs' newest parks and we knew we could make a difference there. We made several improvements, including adding some beautiful Deluxe Patio RV and Lodge Sites," Linda and John said. Now at Santa Cruz, they are just as eager to bring their management values and customer service experience to another KOA location. Santa Cruz has a spectacular area where campers can have fun on the jumping pillow, KOA Express Fun Train, climbing wall, mechanical bull, mechanical surfboard, and mini golf course. The fun extends to banana bikes, horseshoes, movies, bingo and video arcades. Youth programs and activities including themed weekends are offered all summer long. As Linda and John say, "It is all about creating a clean, safe, fun environment for our guests where they can build or continue to build great memories for their families."
