Come Camp & Care With Us Weekend 2008

You're invited! Kampgrounds of America wants you, your family and friends to Come Camp & Care With Us during the May 9-10, 2008 weekend. Campers who stay at participating KOA Kampgrounds as paying guests on Friday, May 9 are eligible to receive a free night of camping at that campground on Saturday, May 10. Now in its fifth year, KOA's Come Camp & Care With Us Weekend has become a favorite way for many families to kick off their summer camping season. If you've never experienced the joys of the camping lifestyle, come on out and give it a try on Friday, May 9 and Saturday, May 10. Remember, stay as a paying guest at a participating KOA on Friday, May 9 and your stay on Saturday, May 10 is absolutely free!

Campgrounds will also be collecting donations and holding fundraising events to benefit KOA Care Camps for children with cancer, the official charity of the KOA Owners Association. This network of 35 specialized summer camps gives children with cancer, and their siblings, a chance to experience the joys of camping while continuing their treatments. Last year, KOA campers helped raise more than $230,000 during this special weekend for this truly special charity.
