Tator Tot Casserole

Our family always makes this dish then share with fellow campers.

Ingredients

Makes 12

• 2  pound(s)  ground beef
• 1  onion, medium
• 1  Tbsp  garlic, crushed
• 2  cans mushroom soup
• 1  can cream chicken soup
• 8  oz. sour cream
• 1  Tbsp  soy sauce
• 8  oz. mushrooms, sliced
• 2  pkg. tator tots
• 8  oz. colby jack cheese

Preparation

Mix ground beef with onions, garlic, soy sauce , and mushrooms. Then mix in the rest of the ingredients except for tator tots and cheese in large bowl. In dutch oven 12 inch, use a liner then line the bottom with 1 package of tator tots, add beef mixture then add another package of tator tots to the top then cover with 8oz of colby jack shredded cheese. Have charcoal ready and put 14 hot coals on the bottom and 18 on the top. Let cook 45 minutes turning every 15 minutes.
