Stuffed Mushrooms


  • 10 - 15  mushroom, 1 1/2 - 2 inches in diameter
  • 1/2  pound(s)  sausage, ground (mild or spicy)
  • 1/4  white onion
  • 6 - 8  oz. cream cheese


Wash mushroom, remove stems with a spoon. Cook ½ pound sausage, mixing in chopped onions and mushroom stems to taste, cook well, when completed, blend ingredients with enough cream cheese to be about a 50/50 mixture, then stuff mushrooms. Place either on the grill or in a pan and place in oven at 350 till mushrooms look done.

Optional: Sprinkle with cayenne pepper or shredded cheese of your choice, allow to melt.
