Poor Mans Stew
Fast and easy in one pot "Camp Fire Poor Mans Stew"
- 2 pound(s) hamburger
- 1 medium onion
- 6 cans of vegetable beef soup
- 1 can corn
- ketchup added for flavor and color
- 1 Tbsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp worsester sauce
Chop up the onion and cook till soft, then set aside. Cook up the two pounds of ground beef "hamburger" (can use lean beef) I also add a tablespoon of garlic powder and a teaspoon of worsester sauce when I cook the ground beef. Drain off the fat ( lowers the cholestrol level of the stew). Add the 6 cans of soup with 5 cans of water. Drain the corn and add the can. Add the cooked onions to the pot. Simmer and add the ketchup to your flavor and to add color.
