- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c cooking oil
- 1/2 c honey
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 c quick-cooking rolled oats
- 1 c chopped mixed dried fruits
- 1/2 c chopped peanuts
- 1/2 c carob chips or semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/3 c nonfat dry milk powder
- 1/3 c toasted wheat germ
In a large mixing bowl beat together eggs, oil, honey, salt and cinnamon with a wooden spoon.
Stir in oats, mixed fruits, chopped peanuts, carob chips, milk powder and wheat germ. Drop by rounded teaspoons about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in a 300 degree oven for 12 - 15 minutes or until edges are firm. Remove cookies from cookie sheets to cool completely.
