We enjoyed our stay. Overall the facilities were good. Our biggest aggravation was the lack of a reliable wifi at the park. To get any access, you had to go to the park office and pick up email, texts, make phone calls. I believe the problem at KOA West Yellowstone is lack of investment in technology, need stronger WIF extenders.

Had a wonderful 6 nite stay. Camp site was flat and nice. Able to ride e bikes around the campground to visit friends site. Even took a trail into West Yellowstone. Nice play area for kids and close to the park entrance. Awesome time seeing Yellowstone Park.

Space 231-had/has a steep drop-off out the trailer door; a safety/slip hazard. Didn’t like the dusty-roads at site. Liked the close proximity to Yellowstone, & pancake breakfast was awesome; thanks for this offering! Didn’t try the dinner. Several wash-machines broken & 5/10 dryers were not working, making laundry a long wait.

It was just me and my 6 kids. Lots of activities for the kids, friendly staff, clean park. We had a great stay. Only gripe was our tent pad was very lumpy which was hard on my body.

Staff are very helpful and friendly for such a large, busy campground! We already booked next year! Lots of options, including meals, coffee stand, and ice cream on site.

While checking in they tell me I won't have wifi where our site is so walk to the gazebo to get wifi. I am staying at a koa for this amenity. It seems trivial and new world problems I understand but when you're traveling out this way you barely have cell service especially in the parks. So when you want to be able to come to the camper and relax and stream tv. They know it's a problem and fixable.

The facilities were clean and well maintained, there were lots of things for the kids to do. The food was good, the staff was friendly. We enjoyed our time there!

Occasionally there was a strong sewer smell that drifted through. It was unpleasant. This is something you should look into and get resolved. Because of this I would be hesitant in recommending your facility.

One reason why we chose KOA is because of the wifi. It was a let down when we cant get access to it, when I told the staff that we cant get access to wifi she replied “Thats camping for you”.

We made in advance reservation for a specific area and got that confirmed. We did not get that. However people arriving after us did get that area (east edge) assigned while not having reserved. When asking why not us, the anwer was “it’s the computer, we can not do anything”. Gives us a bad experience and a negative recommendation on your campsite.

The park is large and crowded but with a lot of amenities. I have a Big Rig and it was very hard (impossible) the get to, or into my sight because of tree limbs not being trimmed up high enough. To me it was odd that you would spend money on a concrete patio, but not concrete or asphalt your sites. Overall, we were happy with our stay there although we were disappointed in the cell service and wif

We were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff, and lead to our site. We added an additional night stay and they were able to make it so we didn’t have to move sites. The other campers around us were very friendly and some had advice for us relative to the park. We will come back next time we are in the area.

We were in unpaved area and a lot of road dust blew into camp. Recommend getting a site in paved area. Great location close to town and the West Gate of the park. Breakfast was great! Waste water hook up was high and a stretch for our trailer.

Really disappointing that there was no wifi at the pitches, it could only be got at the office. Pitches were in much need of repair, lots of holes and unevenness.

Overall the sites were great, spaced out perfectly to give you a little privacy. Kids enjoyed the playground and Gaga ball pit. It was a bit of a drive into town and the Yellowstone entrance, and the internet was not very good towards the middle to back of park.

The pool was very dirty and the maintenance guy didn’t bother to even look if anything was on the ground before he drove over campsite in mower as we set up. Safety hazard for sure. The carts and bikes they rent out need to be checked for safety and to see if they are operational as half barely work and some have seats loose.

A bear came in the campground and all the tent sites were shut down. We got kicked out and had no place to go. They could've helped us find a hotel or offered us a cabin or something. Our vacation was ruined. We live 5 hours away, our only option was to go home.

We were in such a small site that the trees were hitting our awning and slide out. I felt like we were right on top of the next door renters. The bathrooms need improvement. Seemed like there were plumbing issues. The item in the store was priced incorrectly and the clerk said that I had to pay the higher price although all of them were the same price.

It was REALLY loud ALL night. People in and out of cars, slamming doors - seriously, all night. Maybe there should be tent only loops

Heads Up!- A 4-6 person Cabin Deluxe now sleeps 2 adults and offers a crappy double size sofa bed. This KOA does not accommodate in anyway. They will politely discredit all online reservations claiming a 4-6 person deluxe cabin. The communal shower area has noisy fan vents and clumpy hairball left overs for every shower experience. No allowance for extra tents at cabins. Think twice before $1500!!

Someone stole laundry from machine…. Cameras on scene don’t work and are just for show. Manager was supposed to make contact with us, but never did. There was a giant street light infront of our lot making it impossible to see stars. Deluxe site was a joke… a tiny concrete pad and a rickety swing. No thanks.

We spent long days exploring the unique beauty of Yellowstone. It was a pleasure to come back to our clean and quiet camp, recharge and do it all again. Staff is very friendly and go out of their way to be helpful..

Overall, we had a good stay in the camping cabins. It’s a very short drive to West Yellowstone and the entrance to the park. Cooked breakfast and dinner available to purchase daily. The campground is definitely crowded and loud, but did quiet down after 10. The beds were not very comfortable. Suggestion, the women’s bathroom should be cleaned more frequently with so many guests.

The staff is very friendly, the office/store is good (housemate fudge) but most of the roads are not paved. Therefore the dust is unbearable. The KOA work carts drive very fast, up and down the roads all day long, and it kicks up so much dust.

Registration chose to put us next to a huge construction project about ten feet from our site that continued to work and stir up dust with heavy machinery past 6:30 pm when we were trying to sit down to dinner. The following morning the workers returned to access their storage unit next to our site cursing up a storm for us to then have to explain to our 9 yr old kids. Incredibly disappointed.

The cabin was nice and in good shape. I was disappointed with the restroom and shower building. These were old and just not clean. These are in need of renovation and updates. They are held together with temporary repairs and just look shotty. This is specifically important when so many people make use of them.

I think our experience might be a little unique, but our tenting site (#TB) was not as advertised. The site advertises grassy sites - our was just dusty dirt. It's location was also right beside the entry road next to the sanitary dump. If we had been in a camper this wouldn't have been a big deal, but this being a tenting site made for a loud (road/car noise), bright, and dirty/dusty trip.

Very nice campground, very accommodating in many ways. Staff was great, campground and facilities were very clean and well kept. It was our second time there. Last year's flood ran our trip very short and they refunded the unused balance without any question or hesitation, so we came back to finish that trip and had no problems staying with them again.highly reccomend.
