Gavins Point Dam
Record releases are being made at the Gavins Point dam located 8 miles west of the campground. The kids will love getting splashed by the roaring water.
National Field Archery Association Headquarters & Museum
We are located next door to the National Field Archery Association Headquarters & Museum and the Easton Center for Archery Excellence. At this training facility, you can hone your skills at indoor, outdoor, 3-D and Olympic archery. Equipment is available for rent.
Gavins Point National Fish Hatchery & Aquarium
Fish, fish, everywhere! In the cool, dimly lit surrounds of the aquarium, visitors become part of the aquatic environment as fish and turtles slowly swim within 13 tanks. Open April 1 through Oct. 31 daily from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Located approximately 7 miles west of the campground.
Hebda Family Produce & Prairie Gardens
Fresh-picked strawberries, raspberries, apples, fresh vegetables and pumpkins are available throughout the season. They are the farmers market where you will find homemade jams and jellies, fruit pies, salsa, spaghetti sauces, South Dakota made products and many gift ideas. Open June through Dec., Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Located approximately 8 miles from the campground.
Karttrax Family Fun Park
Take the family out for a night of go-karts, bumper boats and miniature golf. Open in the summer Sunday-Friday from 1-10 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Open in the spring and fall on Saturday & Sunday from 1-10 p.m. Located approximately 6 miles from the campground.
Laser Barn Laser Tag
Family entertainment center and Stone Willy Pizza House with indoor/outdoor laser tag, arcade and mobile laser tag events. Open year-round. Monday-Thursday after 5 p.m. by appointment, Friday 5-10 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Located approximately 4 miles from the campground.
Missouri National Recreational River
The Missouri River is a national park that runs right through Yankton. There are ample opportunities for hiking, biking, running, boating, jet-skiing, swimming, fishing and paddling.
Yankton River Walk
Outdoor sculptures grace both historic downtown Yankton and Riverside Park where visitors are invited to take a stroll and enjoy the art. The Park is located approximately 2 miles from the campground.
Charlie’s Pizza House
This is South Dakota's oldest pizza house established in 1959. "Every pizza is made with love and served with pride". Open Mon.-Fri. at 5 p.m. and Sat.-Sun. at 4 p.m. It is located approximately 3 miles from the campground.
