We stayed for 4 nights and the staff was awesome and the park was clean. It was really disappointing that the pool closed at 6pm when it Is still hot out and the kids still have energy. The pool is our only real complaint.

Sad to say that this speifi KOA has gone downhill. My parents used to take us as kids, and now my sister and I take our families there. We have been coming for the past 6 yrs. This yr they were rude about our 35 min early check in, sad when people travel so far and are off by a little with drive times. We paid the 10$ early check in and got set up. Meanwhile the pool closes really early.

One of the quietest, prettiest KOA campgrounds I have stayed at, nice, helpful staff, too! Great for kids. Nice location on a river, better space between campsites than in a lot of RV parks, lots of grassy areas and trees. My only complaints are no hot water for the entire 4 days I stayed, neither in the bathrooms or at the camp kitchen and poor (none) cellular data connection in the evenings.

We called ahead to check on cost of having a tent in our RV site and were told "no tents in any RV sites" Also checked on policy regarding people staying with local family coming to visit our our site and were told it was ok but $10.00 per person per visit. We were dissapointed to see many tents (6) in other RV sites and lots of extra visitors not paying. NOT EVER RETURNING!!

The sites were pretty small. We were bear the bathroom and it was not pleasant. Inside the bathrooms were fine, but our it was a bad odor

where do i start? ...I was told I could not have a tent with my van so I was forced to book an additional site. Also, the staff closing down the pool when my kids were swimming was rude and was wearing a shirt with the word a$$hole on it. My kids also said the man just switched off the jump pillow without saying anything and was rude when they asked. Pool tiles falling into pool. No shade on south

Called for reservations told they had WiFi not the best, very reception. After hours noise level was poor. Pool hours poor( maybe an adult hour or two at night? Small and crowded for size of park; dog run small and busy. Make another at east end by black water area. Too expensive for what is not provided.

Were given an end spot with nice, ample grass. But could rarely enjoy it, as there was hot sun on our site from 9:30am until sunset which we didn't realize until the end of the day. Perhaps could have moved us, but would entail tearing everything down and resetting up for 2 nights. KOA should realize site conditions and ask if campers want to sit inside their rv with the AC on. We don't.

Very Clean and friendly staff. Good location and near a foot path to the downtown area and its attractions. The Town movie house is only a 5 minute walk away.

To us, the fire pits are too close to the rv next to you. Our neighbor started a fire, which was just below our slideout, and all the smoke came into our rv. Also, to us, this place is too expensive. We don't have any children, so we didn't use the pool, and the river was too full and wild to be able to enjoy. It cost us $323 for 4 nights, which we feel was too much.

The clean and nice bathrooms were the best we have experienced at a KOA this summer. Sticky drip from the trees were a bit annoying and the overzealous lawnmower guy sprayed dust everywhere before we could get our RV closed up. Otherwise, had a great time.

Everything was perfect. Friendly staff, clean, great location. Our kids are grown, but they had quite a bit for kids to do, yet it was still peaceful.

Made better time than expected driving and was insulted when the office person told us to pay a $10 early check-in fee or go drive around. The campground was almost empty, and our site was available. Have been a KOA member since 1984 and have never been asked to pay such a fee. Paid the fee but will never stay here again. WIFI was marginal.

Your hosts on staff were so helpful and very welcoming. Had great tips for things to do and see. The super site was amazing! Definitely returning to Winthrop.

The lady who checked us in was super helpful showing us where was best to drive, sightsee and hike in the area. Took extra time to help us out.

Great place to stay! Well kept up. Great clean bathrooms, and showers! Love the atmosphere! Very family orientated! Amazing staff that work there!! Loved it so much! We are coming back with our family in 3 weeks!!!

The park itself was fine but it was irritating to have a check in time of 3pm for a camp site after check out was at 11am. Most places are at1pm.Then, our site was meant for rvs when we have a travel trailer. We couldn't pull in forward as the check in person said as we would ha e anywhere for our truck to go. The water and power was too far forward so we were practically in the road.

The grounds were nicely maintained. The bathrooms were very clean and nice. The price per night is very high. For that amount I would have expected more to do on site like mini golf, horseshoes, sports courts, etc. Also, the office and pool closing at 6:00 was too early. They should both be open until 8:00.

Great stay quiet park along the Methow river which was moving fast. Office staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. During our stay we encountered a few rainy days, the office has DVD’s you can borrow that saved us. River spites were level with plenty of room between sites. We definitely stay again if ever in the area. The town of Winth was a great place to visit.

The stay was great and have been coming for a number of years. The staff was great. The grounds are not as maintained as well as the previous owner. We were disappointed because this park has always been beautiful. Weeds in the gravel, lights burnt out on the tops of the power boxes, bare spot of dirt in the camp sites.

Campground was clean and the staff were nice. Was a little upset that we were charged $10 for early arrival, we showed up at 2:39, check in is at 3 and the park was less than 1/3rd full. I understand rules are rules but with it being so empty...also the wi-fi is really poor. It is rural but town is less than 1/4 mile from the Campground and there is a medical clinic at the road to turn into site.

You need to increase bandwidth to your internet. For what you pay to camp- internet should be easy to get, but we would get kicked off and very slow. Check in was quick and easy

We booked a KOA for the long weekend so our kids could swim. Pool was ice cold, barely saw anyone use it all weekend. Disappointed that it was not useable for most families. Also we’ve stayed at many koas, there was a lack of activities planned as we’ve experienced way more during previous stays.

We had a wonderful stay from beginning to end. Staff there was superb. Very helpful and friendly. Showers, bathrooms, and laundry facilities were all clean and well taken care of. Our site was level and roomy. We enjoyed the shade and the landscaping in the entire park. We would definitely stay again.

Clean facilities, beautiful park that’s right on the river. Love how close it is to the grocery store and a short walk on the trail system right into town past schools, parks, future library and super close to many places to eat. The KOA park has a great “jump pad” inflatable that was hours of fun for our daughter. Highly recommend this park to any traveler with kids.

Nice, quiet, near the river, but no feasible river access. Sites 9 and 17 have private patios with hot tubs.
