Everything was good except we had something delivered there which we were told we could have it delivered there The office let me know package had arrived the at the counter was very rude she said we don't except packages I said ok my apologies she said it like 4 or 5 times everyone else was good

We have stayed in Winthrop many times but all in hotel/ motel scenarios so this was our first time in an RV . I’d have to say overall very happy with our stay , the campground itself was clean and staff very friendly. Pool was a plus but needs some tile repairs . Only negative is that I was charged an extra $10 to check in an hour or so early into an almost empty campground and we added a day 4

Lots of improvements since we were there last about 3 years ago. We understand it is difficult to irrigate grass with water restrictions and global warming. Overall we were very pleased. One comment, we would be interested in seeing some options for recycling. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Maiden Voyage. Everyone here was super helpful! The staff & other campers were all like one big happy family. Strangers greeting strangers like old friends. It was a wonderful atmosphere. Kids & parents having the time of their lives. Extremely clean park w/so much to do for the kids. I've already recommended to friends. Thanks for the advice & help. Yes we will be back!

"Riverside" RV sites aren't as close to the river as one would think - and since the sites *right next* to the river are occupied you must walk nearly the length of the campground to get to the river entrance. Additionally, not really a good beach area - so I wouldn't pay extra for a riverside RV site considering you give up your sewer connection. Bugs galore, but they try hard to fix this!

This was once a nice KOA. The pictures show grass all we had was dirt and dead grass. Small pieces of garbage on the ground, fire pit was all busted up, and swimming pool had damage on the edges. Over priced stayed in a lot nicer campgrounds.

We were 4 weeks into an 8 week tour from SC to WA and this stop was our first with no planned activities. The campground was very relaxing, shady cool and comfortable.

We typically don’t stay at KOA campgrounds. But, we were bringing two of our grandkids with us, so we chose to book there because there was a pool, playground, and bounce pad for children. So it worked out great for that!

We enjoyed our stay! A lovely location right on the river. The pool was a welcome relief from the hot weather. Trail nearby to walk into Winthrop was nice. Planning to come back again!

Check in time was at 3pm which is the latest KOA time we have seen. Prices were also the highest than all other KOA's we have stayed at.

This was our second visit to Winthrop. We like the park and it is a great location for the Methow Valley. only complaint is the site that we had. Site 22 has got to be the worse site in the park. Not only did we have to put up with the smell from the septic system our camping site is right in front of the public bathroom doors. I would suggest a fence separating site 22 from the bathroom.

We had a blast, playing in the river, swimming in the pool, we got to have some cotton candy, AND played in the mine and playground. Our 2 year old LOVED IT!!!! We will be back soon!!!

We had a great time. Love your campground. The only problem we had is the cherry tree in our campsite. The juice and cherries were all over everything we had there. Quite a miss!

I know it’s hot and dry this time of year but the grass is too dry. Idea: eliminate the grass in many of the pull thru RV sites by putting down gravel resulting in less grass that requires water which would allow more water for remaining grass. I was in super site 17 and for some reason it is assigned a 30 amp outlet whereas site 18 which is supposed to be 30 amp is assigned the 50 amp outlet

Great place for families. Fun activities for kids and Winthrop is nice little western themed town to visit. Office staff was great. The only negative was the grass; it has been hot for quite a long time and was very dry and not well kept. We will return, beautiful area.

We had a wonderful time, and the campground is beautiful. Im sure we will be back, but possibly a different time of the year. It was very hot, thank goodness for all the wonderful trees.

This was the best KOA experience we have ever had. There was a comforting amount of space between sites in our section. The genuine kindness of the staff was refreshing. The cleanliness of the entire park was pristine. The laundry facilities were the best.

Had a great time camping, really clean facilities and rv spots, kept the dust to a minimum by using a water pray truck. People were really friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again,

Winthrop KOA is our Favorite KOA! We keep coming back. The staff is always so friendly and accommodating. They have so many fun things for the kids to do. They love the train, pool & play area. This year the cotton candy was a huge hit! Some of the best we have ever had! We love the proximity to the river.

It was a perfect place for all of our families, 33 of us in 4 RV sites and 4 tent sites. We used the pool, the jumpy thing, and played and cooled off in the river. We floated the river from town to our sites, walked around town and had ice cream. The kids had cotton candy at the KOA! It was a great family reunion at your KOA!!

The campground is average. The grass is dead and the pool is NOT heated like advertised. Winthrop is a great town and the river is fun to tube!

I personally love the place. Even though we have no kids I did see they had plenty of activities for kids...my only complaint is not with the KOA itself but the lack of respect from other campers driving to fast making it really dusty...great location close to town and plenty of hiking.

Staff was friendly. Sites were okay. Problem with loud groups at night past quiet hrs and no one stopping them.

We understand that this KOA is under new management and we liked the activities provided for families. The cost however is getting a bit high. We like to stay for 11 days and were hoping to stay for 14 next year but with the price going up and the fact that you are including Sunday night as a weekend night, we are not sure we can afford it.

We loved our stay with exceptions,location is fantastic,we were going to arrive 1-2:00,check in was 3.We were told No Early ck in,we even offered to pay a fee,we sat on the side of the hwy waiting,&found out later several other campers were allowed early ck in.Told at booking personal golf carts ok,now not allowed but small children on motorized bikes are.The pool was murky and run down.

We were told by a staff person that the adjacent area (just a grassy area under a tree off of our site) as part of our camp site. But, when we started to set up camp the GM came around (grumpy and rude) and told us NO we could not use any of the area as some day that is going to be a separate camp site. He did the same thing to the folks across the road. None of us were very happy about it.

Between the river and the pool and all of the really nice people that we met it was my favorite one yet. The people who work in the office and the store were unbelievably friendly and helpful. This was a great stop

The lower bathroom to the right of the campground was in bad shape. No window, water on the floor which made it very slippery as was the shower floor and on a day of over 103 it was like a sauna. We enjoyed the access to the river and we’re fortunate to have a site mostly In The shade. While we are dog owners many campers had dogs who were not leashed. A lot of people walked through sites.

Dog enclosure so filthy we could not use it - charged us an extra $10 for 45 minute early check in - would not recommend again - worst koa we have ever stayed in.

The campground was clean and friendly. The shade was nice, pool was clean and the proximity to Winthrop was great for our bike. The laundry room was SO full of bugs k couldn’t believe it. Showers by the office were cold. The tree on our site dripped sap all over our stuff.

Clean and beautiful but the pool is too small considering they keep adding to the park. We do love it hear but if you are only counting on the pool for swimming, it definitely gets over crowded.

Nice, quiet, near the river, but no feasible river access. Sites 9 and 17 have private patios with hot tubs.
