We love the teepees, and the staff is always very nice. We wish the mini golfing would be open later, and I wish there were more pet 'areas', but all-in-all we love this place.

Great if you have kids. Dance was fun.

We have stayed here before and our young girls love it. this time we had the unfortunate experience of being next to loud, obnoxious and drunk campers and NO ONE from the KOA was around in the evenings after the 10pm quiet time to deal with these customers. It really ruined the trip. I would expect someone to be available to maintain order.

The Willits KOA was recommended to us by a close friend who is a regular visitor. We were told that this campground was extremely geared toward children and had daily children activities. We were saddly disappointed during our stay with our four grandsons. We were offered a movie on Monday and Thursday. There were NO other daily activities offered and skunk train was closed.

I love that its all about the kids. I feel really good about my kids running around.

Stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. Had 4 kids with us, 11 and under. We all had a great time! Enjoyed the pool, rootin tootin, the playgrounds, miniature golf, and the water park. Did not use the RC course, but I didn't know it was there. Tried the fishing pond, but didn't catch any bass.Probably just bluegill in the pond. Overall, we thought it was a great place and I'm sure we will stay again.

good for families with small children, not what we were looking for, staff and campers very friendly and grounds clean, bathrooms and showers great

The Willits KOA site needs to provide sites for "Dry camping" for travel trailers who do not need any hookups. Just a place to pull in for the night. I believe that was the original idea for KOA camping.

I thought I reserved a pull thru site and couldn't get one. The donkeys in the petting zoo are very stressed and pathetic...all the wood had been chewed...a sign of stress. Spaces were too close.

Friendly staff. Like overflow area however having a bathroom and sink on that side would be helpful. Don't appreciate the checkout by 11 and then don't have access to pool and play areas. Would be nice to at least be able to use for a couple of hours or half day prior to departing. Paying per person for such is extreme for the value offered.

we stayed in the teepee which was very fun. this is our first KOA stay, and we loved everything from the friendly helpful staff to the playground. What I really loved was being given a trash and recycling bag upon checking in, super helpful. and I loved how close in proximity everything was, yet our teepee felt private. my son had a ball, I felt very safe, the view of the rolling hills was amazing

We love coming here each year, but this time we had a little issue with the wrist band. It is very uncomfortable to wear so I took it off on Friday night. I was then told I had to find the old one or pay for a new one. We love staying here and recommend this place all the time, but seriously? Pay for a new wristband? Are you guys really having an issue with people sneaking into the campground?

Everything was very clean at this KOA. The kids had plenty to do, and my husband loved the RC track, and pond. Our tent site had a good amount of shade, but there was really only one spot our tent could fit because of the BBQ, and when the campers next to us came, they had to put theirs literally 6" away from ours. We evened each other out though. My husband snored and their baby cried. Lol!

This was our first stay at the Willits KOA and it was wonderful! My three kids had a blast and we will certainly be back again. Next time we will be sure to come for longer so we can experience everything. Two days wasnt enough to get it all in!

First time at a KOA. Different from the state/national park experience, and more costly but very pleasant thanks.

We didn't like the staff coming around after dark 9:00 pm telling us we had to move. We have a self contained trailer and we were not needing any services. They blamed the move on a new staff member. And then they said they didn't see our trailer because the sun was in their eyes. We felt like we were in a prison camp saying you must do this you must do that. No way were we going to move after dar

The staff was nice. Where we were, we had a long way to go for the restrooms, and recommend a restroom by the overflow sites.

The Willits KOA is one of my favorites all-around. Its setting is beautifully located in the northern forest. There are so many fun activities to do. It's clean and well-maintained. The staff is friendly. What else could you ask for!
