A very nice and affordable KOA experience. They have a very nice up front KOA portion of the campground and a rear portion for those who are staying long term. The up front portion was very nicely taken care of, complete with pool, playground, dog park, and a nice walking trail around the park. The pool was nice and big--and well taken care of. Shower rooms were clean and wonderful! Great stay!

5 Stars for Maria - she was very helpful to us as we looked for a place to stay - helped us find the best spot for us - friendly at check-in - just overall a pleasure to work with. At the site everything worked. Electric/water/sewer - all fine with no problems.

I stayed one night, was an easy checkin even tho I was late. Envelope taped to the door with my name n space #. Great place. With AC going there is no interstate noise.

We were there 2 nights/3 days… never saw one staff member. The place was dirty, unkept and smelly. There were a lot of permanent residents with run down trailers. Not close to any attractions over a 1/2 hour to Fort Worth. The dumpster was over flowing and locals came to dump their trash in it. This location is not up to the KOA standards we’ve become accustomed too.

The Weatherford KOA, had very few spaces as the majority of sites appeared to be long term residence. All in poor upkeep. The restrooms were dirty, no hand soap, and showers that looked as if they were not cleaned The only positives, the site was level in the section that looked like it was intended a , lots of green space, and the there was no street noise for being close to the highway.

The site we had was fine, except the grass really needed mowing. The camp store was not open but we had a number to call if we needed anything. Since this KOA was really close to shopping not a big problem. Restrooms were clean. Just not one of the nicer KOA's we have stayed in but for a short time it was ok.

It wasn't bad nor was it great. I liked the couple running it and they are trying their best to improve and keep it up! Poor guy was working on the pool several times/day having a time getting it looking good. Having a pool myself I know how hard that job is and what happens when it is not kept up. It was convenient having the repair shop on site! Dump site and propane fill were down.

There were pros and cons; the dog park had cigarette butts left there, couldn’t swim in the pool as it was green and cloudy, and it was mainly full timers with only a few spots for overnighters. The pros were; there was lots of grass for our dogs. We humans give it a 3 but our dogs give it a 5.

Easy access to I20 made me close to family, shopping, and events in the area. So much well kept grassy area for exercising my dog. I appreciated how the park is clean and well maintained. I noticed an ant mound at the neighboring electrical box causing some ants to come into my camper. I notified management and it was immediately taken care of. I will definitely stay again.

Old facility that needs a MAJOR update! Pool not useable, poor cable, management not helpful etc. Good location, and rv repair shop on site!

The KOA looked run down. No maintenance or landscaping had been done. Mid June and pool and playground were not available for use. KOA office shut down at 4:30pm. The northwest area was full of old car parts and junk. Many campers have been living there for years with junk all around their RVs. This is not a real KOA.

Poorly kept, especially for a KOA. Too many long-termers with junky appearance throughout. Definitely will not stay here again.

We were long term (10months) they started adding more spaces bad enough b4 RV's with slide outs would touch the neighbors wifi was horrible and no ability to download or stream no real playground except a swing and see saw the lots where gravel very difficult to walk on!!! Fell twice and so many cat's running free we set up bird feeders took back down because of the cats the ONLY good was Maria

Can't see traffic on the road at entrance. Could not get wy-fi to connect. Propane equipment was broken. There were multiple sewer issues,sewer draining slowly or not at all. The pool is in need of repairs. There was no manager on duty most of the weekend ( office and store not opened ) KOA is my first choice to stay, but this is the worst one I've ever been at.

We had a great time! It would make sense to have the a/c game room open all day, especially when it’s 100. Also there a lot of full time RVs there that looked like they needed to get rid of things if that is the life they chose. Everyone was very nice and the maintenance man taking care of pool genuinely cared about the guest. We were tent camping with our family and thankfully we had a spot !

We were in Weatherford for a family reunion and we were happy to stay close by. This KOA is very convenient, close to the interstate but far enough away that the highway sounds are minimal. Staff was friendly. The Bathroom/shower facilities were clean. Great value for this location where a hotel room is over $200 per night!!!!

Campground is well maintained. However the play area for kids needs some modernization. 4 swings, 2 see saws and a chin up bar are not much to entertain kids.

More sites are full timers, site is not upkept. Trash at our site, so it was not checked prior to arrival.most sites have permanant decks etc

We had space #10 which was right next to a big tree that gave us shade from the hot weather. We were near the dog run and a nice grassy field. It was quiet and peaceful while we were there. We were near stores, the theater, restaurants, etc. but far enough away that you didn't really hear the traffic.

The lady in the office was wonderful. This is not a typical koa. It was okay for a quick over night stay. We will look elsewhere next time.

The men's bathroom was filthy. Everyone was nice, didn't see anyone cleaning the bathroom a during designated times.

Sites were very close together and didn’t seem kept up very well. The dog park grass was high. When we went to dump our tank before we left it would not drain and was spilling out of the pipes. Nasty and smelled horrible! The workers and other guests were not very friendly. Location was great, but that was about it.

Don’t know how this is KOA. Site was unlevel requiring us to put two 2x8’s under right tires of RV! Needed the gravel replaced because there were a lot of large stones under foot that had to pushed away to get steps level. Cable didn’t work. Don’t recommend.

We arrived approx 6 pm so reservation info was taped on office door. Left the next day about 10 am. The entire time we were there we saw NO KOA staff at all! Before leaving, we stopped at office & there was a note on the door that the person had a doctor's appt. Office was closed & no other staff was on site. The park was in terrible condition & looked like a run-down trailer park vs a KOA

When we drove in, we thought oh no!!! Very cramped!! We have a 43ft with 3 slides - but we actually got a site that was fabulous!! The side with the door had a huge tree, nice piece of grassy ground! The staff was wonderful!! It ended up being a great experience!!!

Site pad connections in bad shape, specially the cable box was in vad shape and got blurry picture. The lady at the office was very nice and helpful. Site didn't look attractive.

Grounds are clean, people are nice, it has a store and laundry and the pet area is HUGE - BUT, the pool wasn't ready for swimming (It's MAY in TX - I wanted to swim laps) and the pull through sites have us all facing each other when we come out our doors. Also, it was very hard to find our spot because we arrived after dark and there were no reflective numbers. I loved the pet area!

I was not able to use the WiFi. My tent pad had a pile of burned stick and burned trash on it. I had to pitch my tent next to burned trash.

From what I understand, the park is under new ownership, and it's definitely for the better! The new roads and ongoing construction in the back didn't hinder my stay much due to the minimal impact from the rain. The management team was incredibly helpful and kind, making me feel welcome throughout my visit. I'll certainly be returning.
