Everything at the facility was very nice. I would give it a 5 star rating, except the shower house was incredibly filthy everytime I used it.

Great facility with a gas station!!!! Lots of things to do, great location, large pull through spots, water park and casino nearby, we couldn’t ask for a better KOA! Thanks!!!

Site was flat compared. Most in the park are not. The park is nice with lots of family amenities. Clean. Tight roads and spaces are reasonably spaced. Staff was friendly and quick to respond to an issue we had with sewer access. A very temporary issue was the road going in. Road Construction made access confusing and difficult. Call before you go there for the rest of 2023.

Great campground! Lots of space and lots of things to do. Close to water parks. A WORD OF WARNING: Do not follow the instructions on how to get to the campground. There is road construction and the main road into the campground is blocked. So if you are south bound get off an exit before…North bound get off the next exit. If confused call ahead to make sure what exit to get off at.

Excellent customer service and the Father’s Day pancakes were most excellent!! We had a Great Time at the Waterpark! Thanks for the reduced ticket price!!

Good place to stop for one night. Bathhouse was dirty and not attended to. No sign of authority when kids are riding mini-bikes around well over 10 mph. Not what I would of thought for as a Koa Resort. Very Disappointed!

We had a great stay! Very nice sites and well manicured campground. The swimming beach could use a little seaweed removal. Otherwise, we loved it there. So nice to be right next to Lost Island with discount tickets too.r

It was nice the staff were very friendly and helpful. Really liked the fact we could fill up at the on site gas station. Two troubling things the cable TV and wifi didn't work. The cost should have been adjusted accordingly.

The Bad Showers were cold. No trees for tent sites. Seaweed in swimming area. No electric for one of our sites. No toilet paper for one stall right after the cleaning time was supposed to be. The Good Friendly staff Clean bathrooms.

Close to water park and amusement park. But the bathrooms were a mess. Dried feces on the bathroom stall door, floor, and toilet paper roll. No hot water for showers. Bathroom was dirty. Played a non-kid friendly movie. Cable was out, internet didn’t work.

Have traveled all over the country and stayed at quite a few KOAs. Was shocked how nice this campground was (only 70 miles from home). Very well maintained. Water park is also excellent. We’ll be back!

Sewer connection broken. Picknick table one side of bench broken. No toliet paper in restroom on Monday morning.

Overall great campground next to the best water park and theme park in the Midwest. The only issue was the bath house situation. We called several times to have it cleaned and I know they are limited with staff but it was really bad this time. The hot water didn’t work in one shower house at all. Other than that this place is beautiful we will be back next year for sure.

We stay here a couple times per year. There is something for everyone... A beach for the family, fishing for dad, a casino, a waterpark, and now an amusement park. The small lake on the property had become overgrown with plant life, but the owners fixed that this year. The swimming and fishing was great.

We were too far from the bathroom and playground. You need another bathhouse for such a big place. The fire pit at our site was too shallow to even cook on! And there’s no shade.

No instructions with our reservation about the road construction and re-route to the park. We were first assigned a short RV site; too shorth for our 60' rig, even the information was included when I made the reservation. We we're re-assigned to an appropriate site, though. And, the sewer pipe for our site (113) is up hill and higher than our waste tank.?? Confusing park layout, signage.

Very nice campground. Lots to do with lake. Only one minute of warm water in shower and the rest was breath takingly cool.

The park was laid out beautifully. The signage with the construction was bad and there was no email telling travelers an alternative route. It is not easy to turn around a camper. The showers were very cold and the bathrooms were not cleaned. The park would be great if there was more care even to it.

I drove 10 hours and just wanted a dip in the pool. They don't have one. One must go to a Hugh water park and pay $$ and be there hours. Nothing else for kids. A farm pond is not a pool by the way. It's a good location for an overnight. It should be a "Journey" type KOA.

WOW!!! On our last 3 days of vaccation, we decided to go to Field of Dreams on a last minute. We called to see if there was space for us at this KOA. There was, and arriving about 10PM. Not knowing what we were in for or the sights of this KOA. The morning was breath taking. It is beautiful and the surroundings are gorgous too. The sites are BIG and very well maintained. Thank you.

VERY nice campground! NIce sites, not much shade but still nice breezy hills. Went to the store for a quick dinner as we were just staying for 1 night. We were expecting a convience store hot dog and burger, but they were GREAT! Fresh cooked & better than some of the FF burgers we had to eat on our travel. If we wern't just passing through, we might have taken advantage of the ammenities.Kudos!

Nice park. Big suze with a lake. Site 8 was a bit far from the bathhouse. It was a slight uphill walk to bathhouse. Overnite stay. Bathrooms clean but ran out of hot water first push the morning of june 14. Staff was really nice.

Enjoyed our stay here.The staff at the office are very friendly.We rented a cabin and two RV sites.I question why if check out is at 11:00 and check in to the RV sites is 12:00, why early check in isn't allowed if the site is empty-we wanted to get set up as soon as possible to get to the Lost Island Theme Park,but had to wait until noon.Campground host/manager-annoying/unreasonable with fishing!

The campground is nice.Was nice to have the store on-site to pick up items.Pond was gross- filled with moss.Stayed in DK15 was not the cleanest upon arrival. 2/5 beds had sand in them, and the loft area had not been swept.Lots of little spiders in the cabin. BBQ grill is really close to deck. Would be great to have jump pillow or pool on-site for kids to enjoy. No hand soap or paper towels provide

The only issue I had was we came with 2 other couples. All booked in January for a June stay and all noted in our reservation who we were camping with and ask to stay by each and we were not next to each other. Since we always just have one in the group bring a grill it made mealtime a chore hauling food and running back for items due to not being next to each other.

Spots were closer than I prefer. Friends in tent spot 1 was basically impossible due to the slope. Showers were freezing. Only one ADA cabin, although it was nice. Water at beach was dirtier than I prefer. Beach sand was nice.

I really enjoyed my time coming here with my travel trailer. The only improvement I would encourage is the wifi strength. Had a hard time connecting to it but otherwise this is a great campground

Place was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Convenience store was nice and well stocked. From some of the pictures I saw it looked like the water park was closer. It’s not far but it would be a pretty good walk

This was one of the nicest campgrounds we've stayed at in the Midwest. It had a gas station with diesel, a convenience store, and the staff was very kind. The camping sites were spacious and well maintained, and our site was at the top of the hill with a view of the theme park and water park in the distance. Otherwise it's a picture perfect slice of Iowa with farm land and trees all around.

Stayed at RV site towards the front. Nice level site. Site by hill aren't leveled/cut down. Slant down with hill. Saw gas or diesel pumps on site.

Very well maintained and attractive facility. Close to attractions, entertainment, groceries, and the highway. Over all pretty quiet, some occasional road noise. Sites are level and relatively spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful, but not bothersome. Price is a bit higher than other areas nearby. Overall I was very happy with my stay and would stay there again.
