I like this park and will definitely stay again. Only two complaints: Water spigot was difficult to operate and couldn’t get full pressure out of it; and my site was full of cigarette butts.

You should tell your stayers it would be cheaper to by ticket for both parks at the park not at the camp site cost me more money to go to both theme parks then if I would have bought tickets over at parks

It was just an overnight stay but the camp was very nice. The bathrooms where clean and the spot we were in was large enough for both our toyhauler and truck. The dog park was something that really needs work. GreT for big dogs, but not for little escape artists. Things were broke or missing. But, otherwise a nice stay.

Large KOA with good room between sites. However since this is a large park, an escort to the site like most KOAs have, would have been nice. Family enjoyed the playground and walking around the lake. Adding a pool would be great. When in the area, I would stay here again.

6 person camping cabin was ok. Coffee maker did not work, toilet, shower and sink in the bathroom was dirty still. Not enough pillows for 6 people. Bunk beds only had a blanket and fitted sheets, no top sheet. Futon bed I folded open and there was sand all on it. Daughter swam in the lake, her swimsuit was filthy and she got slivers on her foot. For the price you pay, it should be better.

wonderful KOA, little hard to get to due to all the highway contruction going on there in Waterloo, wonderful staff, help you, worth staying at for sure.

Everything was great. Only complaint would be the bath house had the same trash i noticed the whole 4 Days I was there and no tp was holiday weekend So maybe short staffed which I understand but great otherwise

Had a great time! Very nice campgrounds. Only suggestion to them is to put a dead end sign by B1. Campers kept turning corner instead of going straight then ran into dead end and had a terrible time getting back out.

The kids loved Lost Island Theme Park! The next day, we went to the Waterpark. Unfortunately, it was cold that day and the water was too cold for the kids and the adults. We then went to the Go Carts and got a race in before the rain started. The mini golf was great. The KOA RV park was great as always. We are hoping next year there will be hot weather when we are there!

Staff was extremely rude! Do not recommend if coming with a group of people! We were running about 30 minutes late for check out and were told someone was coming for that spot so we rushed to get hooked up and came back around 500 for dinner before we started our venture home and the campsite we were in was still vacant.

We stayed for a week over the 4th of July week. Our kids loved the beach and swimming area, and the fireworks were awesome.

Stayed one night in our Class A with a toad. At check-in, was handed a map which was missing a lot of details. We got lost and got stuck in a dead-end with no way to turn around. It was a bit of a disaster. An escort to your site should be mandatory along with better signs. Otherwise, a nice park with decent spacing between the long pull-throughs. Would stay again but insist on an escort.

The cabin was great! Clean and neat. Amy and Matt are wonderful hosts. We always enjoy our trips. Amy even brought up a small lawn chair for our 4yr old G-daughter to use.

BEST. VACATION. EVER. Stayed here on our way to and from Rushmore and both times, this KOA was the highlight of our trip! Water park, theme park, discounted tickets, wonderful amenities, friendly neighbors… This will probably be our new quick-getaway spot. We feel like we discovered a hidden gem here!

we were there from July 1st-4th we rented a deluxe cabin,it was great,my sister in law from Cicago came to visit, we had so much fun we celebrated the he 4thth of July on Sunday the 2nd,the frire works were fantastic, Matt and Amy and staff did a great job truly a great holiday had by all, we will see you next year!!!!!!!!!!!

Fun was had by all! They had great activities, especially the movie night with popcorn and fireworks! Beach was clean, playground was fun and staff were all helpful and nice.

We stayed the 4th of July weekend. Campground is well kept and workers were extremely helpful and nice. The fireworks were wonderful as well. Our daughter and her family stayed in one of the cabins and these were equally as nice, right on the lake. Lots of things for children to do at this park. Playground area, beach and water rentals. We would definitely come back.

We stayed the 4th of July weekend and 11 year old's birthday was on the 3rd, so we had two celebrations the same weekend. It was a great weekend! Went to amusement park, water park, Cedar Falls Aquatic center and we didnt need to go anywhere because so much to do at KOA! Staff great, everything clean and great activities! Watching their fireworks rite on the lake was fun and beach was clean!

The campground was spacious and clean. The beach is wonderful on a hot day. We stayed over the 4th of July and the fireworks display was really awesome, plus you could see a lot of surrounding displays right from our own campfire.

We’re glad that the park was there as we were just passing through for the night but when we arrived there were only 4 others in the park which had nothing to offer in or around the park and they charged $72.00 per night! Some of the KOA’s are getting awful proud of there parks anymore, it was more like a $45.00 a night park in our opinion.

Great place! Very clean and the spaces were large for a resort-style campground. LOVED that there is a gas station on-site and it was so close to everything. You never felt like you were only 1 mile out of town for as peaceful as it was.

Very nice campground just down the road from an amusement/water park. Bathrooms are nice but need cleaned more often for the amount of people using them. Downsides: TENT campsites are tiny...if you're going here take a camper or rent a cabin. Also, there's not many large trees so very little shade on those hot summer days.

Stayed at RV site towards the front. Nice level site. Site by hill aren't leveled/cut down. Slant down with hill. Saw gas or diesel pumps on site.

Very well maintained and attractive facility. Close to attractions, entertainment, groceries, and the highway. Over all pretty quiet, some occasional road noise. Sites are level and relatively spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful, but not bothersome. Price is a bit higher than other areas nearby. Overall I was very happy with my stay and would stay there again.
