Only issue we had is that the level of spots. Had to move 3 times to find a spot for our class C to be level enough. They need to work on that since a hilly park which we loved. Loved the availability of diesel and propane on site. Would probably stay more nights if shuttle to casino or area since we don’t frog. Otherwise clean and staff was very good.

Great facility! Clean shower room, and clean grounds. Plenty of room around sites. Only annoyance was wood campires even though it was 90 degrees!

It’s a beautiful KOA with friendly staff. Need to improve the phone system as you can not dial the office without getting tangled up in an endless web of confusion. Eventually the system disconnects the call.

We had a wonderful time! Such a great place for families and adults with all of the surrounding entertainment venues. Our group had 5 campsites and 3 cabins. The only thing I would recommend for improvement is putting more details on the website, such as need to bring trash bags, dish soap, toilet paper, etc., but definitely highly recommend this place for vacation. Need better Wi-Fi. Thanks, KOA!

Was a great spot to stop after a few long drive days. We purchased discounted water park tickets and enjoyed a day playing in the water. Pretty typical KOA CG with adequate facilities.

We had a great camp site, the location was very accommodating with the changes my family needed which made our stay much more enjoyable. We really like camping at this location!

The campground was fantastic. I do hope to see the beach area cleaned up a bit more. There was a lot of garbage, broken glass, etc that was floating around in the ground. Otherwise - we will be back multiple times

Campground is nice. The staff were not very friendly nor eager to help. When we arrived the women's restrooms had no toilet paper or soap. We called and let the front desk know. About an hour later it had not been fixed. We went to the front desk to purchase tickets, and there were four workers there standing around. We let them know again, they said "Manager has been told, but very busy".

Very nice campground. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Love that it had a gas station on site. We booked Bamboo Ridge, however, that was not the resort’s name when we arrived. Also, my gps didn’t recognize La Porte Rd so we researched and came up with Hess Rd and then the gps was able to get us there.

The campground facilities and activities are great! We went with my mom in separate campers, reserves different sites online, but online you couldn’t pick your site. We asked to switch sites after check in once we found out where our sites were and were told no they can’t without looking to see if a spot was open. Was told you do that when you reserve but you can’t! Then a mower hit our camp

The check in and check out was smooth. However the showers didn't have very good shower heads and were dirty. The fire ring was full of water the entire duration of our stay. There was a heavy rain the day we checked in but it should have been usable the next day.

Excellent cabin, very clean and homey. Clean and well cared for campground. In close proximity to all entertainment venues. We will come again.

Great time over the 4th of July. Grounds are excellent. Opportunities for families are very good. Only two small comments: 1- the laundry room needs an exterior vent. Very humid. 2- the folks in the store were giving out wrong information on the fireworks timing. Some wrong day; some wrong time. Not a huge deal, but could get cleaned up next year. Great campground!

The grounds were nice and our lot was a nice size, level and clean. My only complaint would be with the restrooms at the back of the campground. One lavatory door in the ladies room wouldn't lock, copious amounts of hair would be left on the floors in the showers, and the soap refill wasn't placed in the dispenser. In the time of COVID, a clean bathroom is a #1 priority.

The park itself had nice amenities that made for a pleasant stay, even though our primary reason for staying was to visit the excellent water park next door. The swimming area was refreshing on a hot summer day.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin for the weekend of july 4th,at Waterloo Koa campground,want to give special shout out to Matt & Amy,and staff made our weekend the best,swimming in the lake,fishing,and a giant water slide to cool things off, and of corse the best fire works,clean and safe area for kids and families,thanks again for an awesome time see you next year.

No one monitoring the site, people driving WAY to fast. Especially around the shower house and playground. Alot of kids around the campsite and some people thought it was a race track. Other than that it was a good experience. Maybe do some weed maintenance on the pond so a person could actually fish. Swimming area was great tho.

I absolutely love this KOA! My son has made friends and looks for the families each year. I have made friends that continue past vacation and our stay. Besides there being a bad apple this year the management handled it very well. I'm thankful that this KOA is very family orientated and kind. Because I enjoyed this KOA I brought my mother and father this last time! LOOKING FORWARD 2023. Thank you

Great time!!! Clean park, clean restrooms and showers. Loved the beach and fireworks. Fishing was a little hard since it was so weedy, and the playground needs a few more things for the kids. Camp store was awesome! Staff was wonderful!!!! Camp sites were nice and large and very easy to pull into.

Stayed at RV site towards the front. Nice level site. Site by hill aren't leveled/cut down. Slant down with hill. Saw gas or diesel pumps on site.

Very well maintained and attractive facility. Close to attractions, entertainment, groceries, and the highway. Over all pretty quiet, some occasional road noise. Sites are level and relatively spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful, but not bothersome. Price is a bit higher than other areas nearby. Overall I was very happy with my stay and would stay there again.
