Some issues we had Site 21 and around the sewer on the ground was dissolved toilet paper and black tank waste like someone spilled all over the ground and was never cleaned up. Site was 6 inches unlevel side to side so there was no way I could level my trailer. The sewer was way high out of the ground so all sewage had to run uphill which explains all the sewage on the ground. Hosts were great.

Apparently no one reported the spill to the office, neither did you. We would have gladly cleaned up if we had known. Sewer drop height is no excuse for spills if you thread your discharge into the drop. Site IS Level

Flat open land between the park and the freeway makes the site way too noisy 24x7. We had a nice welcome and the site is well laid out but we couldn't sleep and so can't rate the campground highly.

Who would have guessed a campground directly off a busy Interstate highway would have traffic noise. Sometimes there is a price to convenience. Safe, quiet travels the rest of your trip.

Sites need more gravel as they are not very level.

All of the sites need gravel? Have you stayed on more than one? The site that you were assigned was updated just last season with patio, landscaping and gravel. Sorry that you were unable to level out.....maybe your levelers?

Very clean- all facilities and grounds. Many upgrades to sites are in progress. Friendly and helpful staff. KOA Cafe has good menu and tasty food. Well done!

when taking a shower the water was cold and camp sites are small.

Im sorry your experience was less than satisfactory. This is a 50 year old campground and the sites become smaller as the rigs become larger. Cold shower, the on demand system sometimes takes longer to heat because of limited flow. Why not mention it when you're here so we can remedy the issue?

The campground was very clean and staff was very nice. The man who took us to our lot made sure our tow car was off the road and we could reach all the hook ups. Our only problem was that the grassy area was too low, and this put a big distance from our bottom step to the ground making it a hazard. Maybe adding a couple paver squares could alleviate this issue.

They were kind on the phone when we called to make reservations and even helped us find our spot when we came in afterhours. Such kind service is appreciated when you've traveled for a long distance and are so tired. We appreciate everything they did for us.

This was our first time staying at the Wapakoneta Koa it is the best Koa we have stayed at great design of the roads for large rvs very clean and friendly staff also love that there is a Koa cafe would recommend this Koa to stay at we definitely will return to Wapakoneta Koa Great job on the design and beautiful grounds keeping of Wapakoneta Koa�

Thank you for your comments! This campground is over 50 years old so the designers for sure didn't anticipate all the 'big rigs' that are on the roads today. We do our best!

Amazing staff! They really want to please, they even took my garbage away for me. Well featured facility right off I75 and super amazing pizza, right on time and hand delivered! Perfect after a long day heading back to Canada.

Very nice place to stay. Very friendly reception by the people at the front desk and over the telephone when we called to make the reservation to begin with. They gave us recommendations for the town of Wapakoneta which is a very historic and friendly town. Would return and it would recommend a stay here.

We stayed in the Deluxe Cabin for 4 nights, it was comfortable. The camp is clean and safe and even though it was near the end of the season there was a lot for us to do both at the camp and in the surrounding area. Such as - The Neil Armstrong Museum, Heritage Park (river walk, and our 6 month old Bernedoodle enjoyed a nice romp at the dog, the historical downtown) there are several parks around town with playgrounds as well. The campground also has a dog park both for big and small dogs. A playground and arcade for the big and little kids. ha ha We enjoyed our little get-away to the KOA at Wapakoneta. It was nice, relaxing and a fun way to spend our 34th wedding anniversary with just the 2 of us and our puppy. :) Kevin and Karen were so accommodating and helpful! Karen even mailed an item we left behind. Thank You! * sharing a picture of Bernie our puppy because this was "Bernie's Road Trip" and because he so adorable :)
