Great location, view and access to Waldport. Pity about the fog! Someone works hard to maintain the whole campground. All the sites had been freshly raked. Mine was a good size and had hedges separating me from neighbors.

The staff is extraordinary, the grounds and the bathrooms are clean and everything about the place is extraordinary. The store is very well stocked and the location is absolutely great!

I was shown photos of beautiful sites with privacy hedges. Instead I received a site (#42) with no hedge on one side. I didn’t complain immediately because that site (#43) was unoccupied. I woke in the morning to a view of a neglected 40 year old motor home in that site with frayed power cables and a closeup view of their sewer connections. Nice KOA. Nice staff. Site they put us in was so narrow we didn’t feel comfortable using the fire pit that close to our trailer. We were over as far as we could and still only had about 2-3 feet before the fire pit. If you have a slide which they knew we did they shouldn’t put you in a spot like that.

Loved the view and was a very quiet campground. Bathrooms were very clean I just wish there was an outlet in the bathroom.

We have gone to Waldport for at least the past 10 years to crab. We are a large group of 25-40 people. The park is always clean, but this year was exceptional! The bushes were all trimmed, giving all sites a clear and beautiful view of the bay. The staff were friendly and helpful. We pulled in about 60 beautiful crab. All in all it was another amazing weekend. We look forward to next year!

We had a hard time with site 23. It's very uneven. Also the 2 man hole covers made it impossible to sit outside and be on a level surface.

The stay was good. However, we were told that we could not reserve our same spaces for next year. We are a family of 5 RV sites & 3 cabins. It looks like we will have to find another RV park, in order to get a consistent reservation program each year. By that we mean being able to reserve the same spots a year in advance.

Host was very rude. I am in town for my daughters wedding. Little did I know, guests are not allowed unless they are registered. To register additional guests you pay another $7.00 regardless if staying the night. We had to pay $15.00 for our son to have dinner with us. I will never stay at Waldport KOA again.

Really tight quarters the dumps to drain waist tanks were off the ground about 8” so it was difficult to drain even though i was uphill. O think its a great place other than that.

We probably had a below-average site... no privacy, next-door sewer right beside our picnic table. Dust instead of gravel pad. Nearby dogs howling at all hours while their humans fished elsewhere. Staff, however, was very nice. At this price, especially for 10 nights, we expect more.

Very nice although higher priced than most KOA’s I have stayed in. First one where I have felt pressure to be out by 11:00.

We loved the location so close to the bay. We were able to walk down to the water edge and spend some time on the beach there. The campground is close to the Waldport bridge. We walked partially across the bridge and really enjoyed that. The campground is beautifully kept up and was a joy to stay inl

All 5's if it was a little easier to maneuver with our 42fter. Tight turns with only a few inches to spare. Otherwise, very nice park with very nice staff. Clean and neat.

Our stay was like staying at a dog park.The couple next to our space both work for KOA and every morning when they go to work their dog starts howling.We could hear dogs barking through out the day and evening.This was our second time using KOA.I also want to comment on how rude the KOA staff was .We were told to stay out of an unoccupied site.We just wanted to look at the ocean view.

We are sorry to hear the dogs bothered you. We do clean and ready our sites for each camper. We ask that people not pull into unoccupied sites, because when they do we have to reclean them, which is what you did. Not being rude, just making you aware.

Sites "very" clean nice park. One drawback narrow passage ways between sites, lots of shrubs to maneuver around. Long rigs are possible, just be aware, a little tight.

I don't often give 5 star reviews as a wise business man once told me "There's always room for improvement" as i rated his laundromat. This park is a premium facility located on the north side of Alsea Bay with spectacular views of the bay bridge, the bay and City of Waldport. The spaces and grounds are immaculate as are the bathrooms and facilities. I would advise people and people with pets to prepare for fleas and ticks. This is no fault on any particular facility or business. There's fleas and ticks at many areas along our coast. My friend and I had a very fine time during our stay. I very highly recommend this KOA Campground in Waldport Oregon.
