I drove 3 states to visit loved family and told YOU CAN NOT HAVE THEM COME TO SEE YOU OR EAT WITH YOU IN YOUR OWN TRAILER. THE WASHER AND DRYER CAN USE WITH AN UPDATE. THE SITES COULD BE A LITTLE LARGER. THE STAFF COULD BE 75% FRIENDLIER.

People were friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean. We signed up to be KOA members as we were impressed. Hopefully this will continue with our trips.

Everything immaculate. Crew is very aware of every little thing that everyone is doing. Maybe a little too , “ big brother like “ . Felt a little too uptight at times. Need to loosen the reigns a little. Overall, fantastic!

Your no visitor rules even when we offered to pay for them as if they were staying with us makes no sense. Only 1 vehicle per site even though there was plenty room for a second vehicle makes no sense. My son followed me in to help carry some things in his car and you chased him down like he was a criminal and told him to leave. This is not a friendly campground. We will never go to a KOA again!

We do enforce our rules. All campers sign and agree to the rules at check in. They are pretty basic, common-sense rules. You did not want to follow them, so we did have to talk to you about a few different things. Our goal is to ensure everyone has a good time. Thanks for trying us, though.

As always, the KOA here was very clean with great sites. It's a bit crowded here, but otherewise, no complaints at all. The office hours start at 10am which is a bit late... but that is not that big of a deal.

We liked this Campground, because the sites where really clean and so where the bathhouses. We had a great stay and the hosts where super friendly and helpful. We would def. stay here again.

Absolutely love this KOA! Everything is extremely clean and the staff are veey nice and helpful! Love that you are so close to the beach but the campground is so private.

Very clean overall, many sites have privacy hedges, easy access to a secluded beach, friendly staff. I would definitely stay there again.

We came down to celebrate our sons life at the KOA that we always took them to as kids because they loved the sea lion caves and aquarium. It was a very bittersweet trip especially when we saw that the things the kids always did at the KOA are no longer there. But clean, quiet and perfect weather!

Campground and staff were great. Only issue was in leaving. The road out is a tight turn and lined with tall shrubs that scratched along our 35’ motorhome. Don’t see how a longer motorhome or 5th wheel make that curve. Then add the fact of it right next to a playground and a child standing in the shrubs as he got out of parents sight. Removing shrubs on playground side would be beneficial

Probably one of the most beautiful KOAS I've stayed at and under the right circumstances a great place BUT in all my years of traveling I have never stayed at a park that didn't allow visitors! Nobody other than registered guests allowed on the property. I found that very strange and something I have never encountered before.

We always love staying at this KOA. Great, helpful and personable employees that go the extra mile! Love the location as it's our central dropping off point to visit the natural wonders of coastal Oregon, north and south. View from this location is incredible, overlooks Alsea Bay. Again, kudos to the employees!

Our daughter unexpectedly joined us with her very friendly Staffordshire Terrier. We had 2 friendly dogs with us and didn’t mention her dog, but mentioned that human was joining. Friendly dog was on “no fly” list and as it happened, we were leaving next morning. Members of staff continued to harass us regarding our friendly dogs, at our campsite making us feel unwelcome.7th season & won’t

Our insurance provider requires us to restrict some particular dog breeds. It is not based on the friendliness of the dog. There are just 5 breeds we do not allow on our property. These breeds are listed on our web-site and on your confirmation. We comply with this requirement.

Nice to hear from an employee at this place about the owner gaming the software platform i.e "the koa website" to show only 1 tent site available so as to keep riff raff [also known as the down and out] from turning up and taking a site. Well I'm sorry but if a customer has the money necessary to stay a night or two then why kick a person when they're down on their luck?

First ever stay at koa. Checked in at night with no information given. Was greeted with rules by a passerby who did not announce them selves. I politely explained we just got there and was not familiar with this location and then was greeted with more rules. Your rules should make sense. If 2 cars fit in the spot it should not be an issue. Overflow was full. A fire should be aloud at all hours.

If arriving late we leave an envelope on our after hours board, specifically for you, that is filled with all the info you need. We include a copy of the campground rules, which are enforced, even if you do not feel they apply to you, to ensure everyone has a good stay. We practice fire safety.

This was our second time here. My wife wanted a bay view spot and reserved one months ahead of time. She wasn’t exact in her wording by saying “bay view” so we had an extremely small site with a view of blackberry bushes. I wasn’t really happy paying full price for the half the site as others and less maintained. When we sat at our picnic table we were able to hear next door inappropriate

We book you in the site type you request. All of our sites are well maintained. Size, view, and landscaping may vary. The bridge view sites have a beautiful view from the back of old-growth trees and the Alsea Bay.

Everything was clean and everyone was friendly. We were disappointed that it is not a non-smoking facility. We had to keep our windows shut and could not use our patio bc someone was smoking continuously near by.

I don't often give 5 star reviews as a wise business man once told me "There's always room for improvement" as i rated his laundromat. This park is a premium facility located on the north side of Alsea Bay with spectacular views of the bay bridge, the bay and City of Waldport. The spaces and grounds are immaculate as are the bathrooms and facilities. I would advise people and people with pets to prepare for fleas and ticks. This is no fault on any particular facility or business. There's fleas and ticks at many areas along our coast. My friend and I had a very fine time during our stay. I very highly recommend this KOA Campground in Waldport Oregon.
