Over night rest stop. Need bathrooms near tent camping area. We stay here often but usually in our travel trailer. This time we tented.

Clean bathrooms, laundry and nice pool. Sites were adequate. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was in residential/industrial area but not obtrusive. One hr from Sequoia National Park.

The Store is only Open to 6pm.its not good to need a washcard for the laundry.the bathrooms were not that clean.we know it better from other KOAs.also the prices for firewood were more expensive than at other KOAs.The Pool was very nice.its called KOA Sequoia but the Sequoia is more than 1h drive away

We were there on our way home and needed only one nighreservation was waiting for us. We did arrive in time to use the pool. We would come again if we pass that way.

The facilities at Visalia KOA was very disappointing. The bathrooms is outdated and it smelled of urine all the time. The showers had clumps of black hair in them. Very unhygenic. And not to mention all the rules. That is just rediculous. The lady in the shop was very rude and unhelpful. I said hello to her three times before she responded with a very rude “what do you need”.

Restroom/shower was filthy, disgusting, and in extremely serious need of repair/upgrades. No soap or paper towels. Restroom was unisex, for multiple persons at a time. It was not segregated. At any given time, men might walk in on women or children using the restroom or showering, and vice versa. Not acceptable! DO NOT recommend. Other parts of facility appeared clean. Didn't use laundry.

My 16 y/o daughter and I stayed 2 nights here on a cross country road trip from Oh. Camper cabin was excellent, tent site good but we had one experience in the night where I felt a little alarmed: woman came into the campground around 3:30 in the morning trying to find someone she knew in a tent. She didn’t bother us but was wandering through tent area calling a girls name. Probably a local.

The staff is nice and welcoming but the grounds are unmanicured, lacking shade trees and unkempt. Their Wi-Fi which was mainly the reason we reserved space does not work. This was a working vacation for me and I must have access to operate my laptop. Consequently I had no choice except to use the store Wi-Fi which is only accessible during business hours. Until they make upgrades, keep looking

We have friends in Visalia and stay here when we visit them. The KOA is clean, well kept, and quite. We'll continue to stay here in the future.

KOA here is in terrible condition (trash everywhere, dead trees and grass, unkept bathrooms, and smells bad from feral cats!) There are a large number of long term residents here in trailers that are old and run down. ( The guy across from us had an ankle monitor on) The surrounding area is confined with six foot high chainlink fences with barbed wire on top. I did not feel safe here!!!

Everyone is super friendly and they do a great job around there keeping looking nice. Nice big pool, nice big shower stalls very clean restroom’s, small store. Great for stopping to rest

Be prepared for red ants. We had to go to town to buy ant killer. No shade but sites are fairly big. Bathrooms are kept clean, even with 20 teenagers camping there at same time and continually making messes.

Next time we will not go when temps are 105 degrees. Pool was filthy and moldy. No chlorine. The site was good with electric. The sites were too close to each other no where to really park. But we had a good time with the family and good for last minute.

The owner was amazing and extremely nice. The rest of the team were all helpful and kind as well. Clean and nice facilities. Pool was amazing, especially since it was so hot. Cabins looked cute and cozy. Always talkative and attentive team whenever I interacted with them. If you want to know who wrote this, the guy who made the “cake” out of twinkies haha

Easy spot to find and get into. Grounds were good if a little rocky. Laundry was sufficient and pool looked nice. People were good and friendly. Wish there had been a little more shade where I was on g row, seems like some nice shady spots were occupied by unoccupied campers/motor homes. Definitely in an industrial area but not in a bad way.

Had a nice quiet time there! Dogs loved doggie park, nice and big, had a water spicket/bowl which was great as it was hot. had a nice big shade tree, level site. Only one issue - maintenance guy was watering ALL DAY LONG! If he watered in the dusk or early morning you would use half the amount of water and your bill would probably be cut substantially. Just an fyi!

After nearly a week of camping, we were so excited to stay at a KOA. The KOA Visalia initially was so refreshing!! However, once the sun set, swarms of cockroaches were visible all around our campsite. There were SO many!! We have never seen such an bad campsite roach infestation.They need to practice better pest management. 4 days later, we found a live roach in our trailer!

Older KOA but nice and clean facilities. Pool largest ever experienced at a KOA. Overall experience was good and attendants were very friendly.

I had a wonderful stay here . Did 4 nights camping . Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The campground is a good base for visiting sequoia or kings canyon only a hour drive to each . And a awesome pool to come back to and cool off. Good location close to shops . Savemart 10 mins away . Thanks again for a great stay

Great location - easy off the freeway. All the sites have a lot of grass which was nice as we just came from an Arizona trip where there wasn't any grass!. Nice pull thru sites and the dog run was big and it also had grass. Well maintained. There is a train that was nearby and two trains went through but other than that it was very quiet.

Site was a little short for our 44 ft 5th wheel and truck. Luckily, the site beside us was empty so we parked there. Just a 45 minute drive to the AMAZING Kings Canyon & Sequoia National parks.
