All the employees there are awesome you ask them a question. Everyone is very polite. They go out of your way to help you campgrounds, nice and clean. The time we were there I just wish we had access to a pool who is extremely hot maybe the KOA you could’ve gotten us coupons for the water park down the street the pool look fantastic. Wish we could’ve gone in.

Park was far from full but we were sandwiched in with barely room for our trailer and car. Had to dodge the firepit when getting out of car. Across the street was totally empty. The roads are in bad shape and narrow. For the size of lot and condition this place is way overpriced. Next time in Virginia Beach I will stay someplace else.

While I give you the highest rating I can possibly give there is an item in the cabin that needs attention. The light fixture above the bed is so low that I bumped my head more than a dozen times during my 3 day stay.

The pool was not open and they don't offer any discount ....!!! we received a text message the last night offering 30% discount to stay one more night.... why they don't offer on the entire stay at first because of the inconvenient that they had.....

We arrived early but were able to get the key to our cabin upon entering we amaze of the cleanness of the place and the space as it’s were an accessible cabin .. however the only problem was the mattress on the sleeper sofa and the coffee maker didn’t work and water pressure in bathroom sink was low other than that we enjoyed our stay it’s beautiful place peaceful not to over crowded

Brief stay but found staff to be very friendly and helpful. Campground is conveniently located, well maintained, clean and has kid friendly attractions.

Stay was amazing as usual! Pool being close wasn’t great but understand out of your control and was a permit issue. Staff was amazing. Bathrooms could have been cleaned more often. Would be nice I’m future for side roads to be paved. LOTS of dust. Really like all the activities. Great job!

Air conditioning is problematic. The bunk room is incredibly hot, the main bedroom is very warm and the sleep sofa has ac blowing right on your head no matter how you adjust it. I would recommend you move ac to window right of the door. That way ac would cool bunk room and keep cold air off person sleeping on sleep sofa.

It was amazing lots of family fun activities and things to do. The staff had that family vibe with a personal touch always willing to help an make your stay as convenient as possible we will be coming back!!!

The stay was fine. The staff were upfront with communication about the pool being closed for inspection and apologized for the inconvenience. Another positive is the friendly staff. What I didn’t like is the very poor internet service and the extra expense they charge to get good service. I think the cost for the stay is high enough without adding on more charges ($5 a day).

All was great , disappointing about no pool was hoping they made a discount or something for that but they didn’t we booked a year in advance. But other than that all was great!

Cabins way too expensive for basically a tiny shed with beds, AC wall unit very loud, bathrooms nasty in mornings, should have given us a discount for the pool being closed.

I would have gone somewhere else if I knew in advance that there was no pool available. Otherwise our stay was pretty good.

The new deluxe sites are nice but small. Most of the trees that were in the area (we have stayed in this campground for many years) have been cut down and it is hot like a desert. I know there is a balance between shaded sites and clear sky for satellite service, etc. but shade is nice in the heat of August!

The sites were extremely small and packed. I had to use the additional parking space to park my truck because after setting the Travel Trailer (28 ft)there was no space for my truck.

Super nice campground that will be over the top once the new pool is open! (We were told well in advance it would probably not be finished). Live music, food trucks, lots of activities, and a bus to the beach! We don’t usually spend a whole lot in the camp store…but needed a case of water. $14 for a 24 pack of water is a bit steep….we opted for gallon jugs. Highly recommend this campgroun

When first checking in to our cabin, we immediately noticed that the room was overrun with spiderwebs. When I said something about it to the staff I kinda got a shrug. Then the ants came on day 2. All week we struggled to keep them out of our cabin, but there were swarms of them and it was an impossible task as the bottom of the cabin door had a gaping spot that wasn't flush to the floor.

VA Beach KOA is only a 2 hour ride for us, so this has become our home away from home. I always wanted a beach home and this is a good as it can get. The reservation folk are super friendly. We met Mike one of the grounds worker and we really enjoyed chatting with him. I love the short shuttle ride to the beach and the fact that they come every 15 mins.

I had a wonderful time at your KOA. It's truly centralized to various locations and it has improved over time. The only thing I wish you had was a place to dump your pet's waste. I literally carried my pet's waste throughout my entire walk until I got near the welcome center. Otherwise, this is a beautiful park and I look forward to coming again. The staff was extremely nice and very helpfu

KOA seemed pretty clean as a whole but our site had a fair amount of small trash left in it (plastic wear, q-tips, random paper/labels etc.). Sites were pretty tight with not much area between you and the next RV. Biggest issue for me was the dirt sites and roads; there was almost no gravel down so it was really dusty. Thanksfully it didnt rain while we were there or it would have been a mess.

Campground was incredibly clean and staff was very kind and welcoming. The new pool was not quite open yet, but looks like it will be wonderful! Our nephew loved all of the other activities. We stayed for a long weekend in the 4 person cabin with our two small dogs. It was very clean and comfortable, but we would definitely opt for a larger cabin if staying for a week. We will be back for sure!

Very great custumers service, i’ve notice 2problems in my cabin and they fixed it immediatly. Baddly we can’t enjoy the pool, but the next time for sure.

The ants were terrible this year.I had to purchase my own baits since they were everywhere.Since the ants were bad, we used the text line to request more trash bag.Instead of being brought to the cabin we were told to get them from the store.A text to stay an extra night was sent.As a family we were excited to stay another day.This was followed by disappointment, they couldn't honor the request.

Pool was still closed, toilet was sitting leaning to left, freezer in fridge needed defrosting, sofa was extreemly noisy to sit on and the bed part was horrible (needs new mattress). Was not happy that other campers were allowed to play music very loud because quiet time is 11p (TOO LATE) called and complaimed but nothing was said to them, LAST ACTIVITY OF OUR STAY WAS CANCELLED.

Though there's were a lot of people staying there, it was a fun, quiet environment within a short distance from everything were needed and the beach. Our dog loved it and all the other dog owners were very polite. So much to do for kids. I only wish we could've spent more time and can't wait for the pool to officially open. We'll be back next year!

although the pool was closed, there were a lot of other activities to keep our granddaughter busy...the staff was super friendly and helpful...the park was well maintained...I was expecting a campground above the rest, and I was not disappointed...Great job Virginia Beach KOA...

Me and my family loved to stay in KOA Virginia beach. All the services were A1 The only thing I would like if I return back, it’s to choose my place in the map because my place had too much sand. I wish I could have more grass.

I love this place!!! Kids Friendly❤️There is a public shower also. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but we extended 1 more night.
