Staff were so nice and helpful. The grounds were amazing. Everything is well maintained. Kids enjoyed miniature golf and the jumping pad. Our RV spot was huge and had a giant beautiful tree for shade. We also rented a basic cabin and it was impressive. Bunk beds and a queen bed with a fridge and a nice fan in the window. The cabins are in a nice grassy area. Best KOA!

The team there are awesome. We had a couple of issues and the team there were all over it. This is the second time we have been here for the 4th July weekend and will be coming back again

Disappointed that the dog park was completed flooded while we were there, so we couldn’t exercise our dog, also probably why there were lots of dogs running loose, lots of dog poop around park. Below average Wi-Fi. Not our favorite KOA

Sites were too close together! Owners trying to squeeze too many people into spaces. We had to eat with the people in the next site. K9 area was overgrown with weeds and no where else to take pets. Too many unsupervised kids terrorizing the whole campground.

Nice spot with lots of mature trees and giant area for tent camping. Nice pool and great facility/activities for kids. Lots of room fir our dog even tho Kamp K9 underwater!

Nice stay. Kids enjoyed all the extras- golf, bounce, pool. It was nice to have movie night. Facilities were clean. Firepit was falling apart and needs updated.

Lots of weeds, seems more like a Journey rather than a Holiday KOA. Wifi is week which surprised me as most KOAs have very good Wifi.

Awesome campground! Super friendly staff. Easy drive to dinosaur national monument! Highly recommend the Thai food truck on main road outside of campground!

Landscaping not cared for at sites, any hills everywhere at sites. Staff was friendly spacious camp grounds.

Your staff was very friendly, which I weigh very strongly. Your bathrooms were fairly nice which also weighs very strongly for me. The grounds needs a little TLC. The fire pit was all mangled, the exterior of shower house shows wood rot, the decorative stones at sites are no longer being contained. All these are examples of the small details I have noticed but I didn't weigh very strongly.

We have no complaints about the park; however, it would be nice if the full-time area in the back had a separate entrance. (Unless they do and I did not notice). It seems it added more traffic, and I prefer to be in a park that has short-term visitors.

The facilities seemed to be lacking in maintenance of the grounds with weeds growing. The WI-FI is the worst I have seen at any KOA. Couldn’t even check my email in the morning hours.

We really were impressed with the friendliness and expertise of Bill, your facility and maintenance manager. He helped us with our water hookup and was so helpful! Thanks so much to him, his daughter who was helping him and the others who keep your campground nice.

The pool was really nice. We were just there overnight. We used the pool and played putt putt golf. We appreciated your website providing the info about possible flooding.

Overall we had a good time because we had good friends camping with us. Areas for improvement: there was dog poop in our site both in the grass and a black bag. The bathroom ran out of TP both womens and men’s. Not good. There was no table in our site so my husband and I had to go over to the field to retrieve it. A table should be at the site when we arrive. The laundry room was not clean-

Paid for a upgraded site. Got weeds, no grass, a ton of ants, dirt and leaves covered patio, was a parade route to/from playground. NOT an upgrade. Traffic on road right beside us was trucks going down hill all night long.

Huge back in site. Nice big grass area. Good power. Plenty of antenna reception. Had a few inconsiderate people walking through our site but that is not the campgrounds fault.

The campground was nice. Full hook-ups, worked great. Campground staff did a great job with the caretaking! The HWY 191 proximity was noisy with large semis using their air brakes, & traffic noise all night long.

Our stay was wonderful lots to do very peaceful camp grounds Daniel was very helpful and informative about the town and even helped us figure out how to plan. Our trips on line . Campground was very clean and taken care of we will definitely be back .

Staff is friendly and helpful. Bathrooms and pavilion by pool needs a complete tear down and rebuild. Site was OK except for the rotted 4x4's that someone could really get hurt on. Pancake breakfast and movie night was a plus. Not sure if I'd be back.

Electric box wires were hanging out. Very cramped tent space. No privacy at tent spaces. Eventually got an rv space for tent price which was good but electric box with no receptacle and wires hanging out should never had happened at an KOA

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

A previous guest vandalized the electrical box and we were not informed until you arrived. We immediately upgraded you to an RV site with no additional cost.

Very accommodating. Very clean. Nice pool, mini golf,park, and large jump pad. Everyone was very friendly. Close to other area attractions. Would gladly return.

Our site was pretty level but taking a walk the sites were rutted and two hand large holes. The grass was not cut and we had to go to the office and request it be cut. The family next to us had four little children running thru 6” of grass an weeds. We had to watch where we walked as a lots of ant hills. I counted 20 on our site including 6 around our broken unlevel concrete table

We weren't there long. Very busy stay in Vernal. Campgrounds were pleasant nice people around. All in all a good experience.

Generally a great stay but, as with most KOA sites we have visited, intermittent wi-fi. The restroom door also failed to lock much to the shock of an American child 🤣 Great location to explore the surrounding area. We loved the Moon Arch which was only a few miles out of town. The shop has a fantastic set of about 20 walks that you can take of the surrounding area. Vernal itself was a nice town and we enjoyed our best, and cheapest, meal there at Betty's Cafe.

The site layout is pretty good with plenty of space. Only 2 complaints were the distance to the bathrooms and the back border of the campsite being a rusty Barbed Wire fence, wouldn't be too great for kids to get tangled up in.
