Very Friendly Staff, Lots of kid friendly things to do, which brings kids and noise while they play in the pool, but it is Dinosaurland. ;)

Had an economy back-in. Promised that they were as nice as any other but the last 3 are not up to the standard. #17 grass was not trimmed and there was something hidden in the grass surrounding the sewer pipe I couldn't determine what it was but it looked disgusting. When I spend that kind of money to camp I expect the site to be perfect. Additionally, the neighbor is a rundown singlewide.

We loved the choice of a larger space with grill, patio and patio furniture. Very well kept campground with clean bath houses.

Loved the… Playground area Clean and well maintained bathrooms Overall atmosphere of the park Needs improvement… Weeds. Our site was so overgrown, it took over the landscaping. I feel that landscaped areas ought to be maintained. Sun sail. Ours was not installed.

We stayed just one night and were passing through, so we weren't able to use many of the amenities. But the campground is very clean, very enjoyable, and there is lots to do in the area. Also, lots to do at the campground for families -- pool, mini golf, etc. Surprisingly quiet for all the people that were there. Nice facilities.

Good sight to explore the local area. Staff were helpful however the noise from trucks on the nearby road had an impact when wanting peace and quiet.

We loved the patio with table, chairs, bench and BBQ grill at the super site. It was awsome. We also enjoyed the pool, mini golf, frisbee golf, bounce pad, movie night (& popcorn) with our grandson. The staff was courteous and helpful.

Spaces are far apart, amenities were as promised, and staff was friendly. Cons…Restroom/showers could be cleaner, pool could be heated, and grounds could be weed whipped to give a more groomed appearance. Would stay here again. Vernal in sniveling town with lots of amenities.

We had reservations at another campground in Vernal, but weren't comfortable with the setup. I called the KOA and the man at the desk was very friendly and welcoming, and told me they had plenty of space. Byt the time we got there (about 5 minutes), he had a ll the paperwork ready to go, and a nice shaded spot for us. It's an older campground, but clean and well maintained with lots of amenities

The registration office was friendly on phone but theyvwere dishonest and made little effort to clear up a communication issue regarding my campsite. Its a good location for site seeing. Grounds not very well kept. Our RV site had weeds 12 inches high. Annoying to walk through.

Short stay. Facilities generally good. Site and host could have done a better job explaining that double wide site was actually 2 sites. Had to hook up twice to get it right.

We loved the extra space in the sites at the back, it was quiet and private, and the mini golf and jumpy pad were super fun!

We come for the baseball tournament each year and have always had great service. Heather checked us in and was super friendly and appreciated us bringing our group in. Daniel was also super friendly even we we’re up past quiet hours not realizing the time slipped by. He was very nice and waived a friendly “Hello” each time we passed. Campground, restrooms and play areas are clean, nice shade trees especially in the middle row of pull thru spots. People were noisy at night, we couldn’t keep our windows open due to noise and marijuana smells coming through the windows.

The Rv site we were in was awesome!! The bathrooms could be a little nicer I felt like I was in a run down bathroom. If people have dogs they should be put into a section together so we won’t have to hear dogs barking at midnight. It was noisy at night when we were trying to sleep after curfew. People need to control their teenagers.

Great site! I loved the patio site.. Bathrooms were clean. Some traffic noise, but was quieter at night. Close to the National Park.

Everything was fine except for counter personnel not greeting us when we walked in. Two people having a conversation completely ignored us. Not what you want after a ten hour drive. I waited politely and after five minutes cleared my throat and said hello. I was then checked in. Never happened to me before at a KOA.

Lots to keep the grandkids entertained ! They made friends, & enjoyed all the activities- esp. the Putt Putt course & jumping platform. Bathrooms were VERY clean, tho a shower was out of service. The staff was friendly & accommodating. Site 51 had big shade trees, as did that whole row of sites. Yes, RVs are close together, but expected for a KOA RV park. Tent area was nice-treed, large & grassy.

We stayed in19-B. We were 20 feet away from the back yard of two large barking dogs. We went to the offices to see if they could do anything and they said they would call the manager of the mobile home park. Apparently they did not. The barking did not stop. Our space was large but it was mostly weeds.

Hosts at the desk were very helpful and kind at check in. Unfortunately I had a water problem. My water spout on my site would not turn off. I was changing hoses and could not shut it off resulting in a flood around my site. I finally got a screw driver and was able to turn it off. I learned the next day that the owners of the Vernal KOA were well aware the spout was not working before I got there

great location to see everything in Vernal. Staff was very helpfull with questions and also was able to print some paperwork my husband needed. We will stay here again for sure.

the only complaint if have is the timber borders for the lots 10-12 are too narrow you can't get your steps down level with the ground, also there is a fairly young tree next to water sewer and power hookups that makes it difficult to get into your compartments and in the near future will cause problems with slides. other than that the park is great and has lots of things to do. Thanks

We had a great time at this campground. It was clean and the camp spots were great. The water sewer and power worked perfect!

Generally a great stay but, as with most KOA sites we have visited, intermittent wi-fi. The restroom door also failed to lock much to the shock of an American child 🤣 Great location to explore the surrounding area. We loved the Moon Arch which was only a few miles out of town. The shop has a fantastic set of about 20 walks that you can take of the surrounding area. Vernal itself was a nice town and we enjoyed our best, and cheapest, meal there at Betty's Cafe.

The site layout is pretty good with plenty of space. Only 2 complaints were the distance to the bathrooms and the back border of the campsite being a rusty Barbed Wire fence, wouldn't be too great for kids to get tangled up in.
