Yes we had a great time. Not happy with dogs inside pool area, cameras around pool might be a good idea

Beautiful pool area

We liked the campground. The staff was not friendly or accommodating when we checked in. Also, we had 3 relatives over for dinner on Sunday night when the camp was 90% empty. I asked the staff if they could visit for two hours without paying the $20 fee (2 small cars) and they refused, without a smile or regret.

Very nice resort style camping with plenty to do. Close to Santa Paula and Ojai for an evening out. Campground was clean and well maintained.

Great place to camp with the family. Activities were fun but a little pricey. The pool was great. We will be back.

Our site was advertised to have "beautiful mountain views" but the only thing we had views of were the dumpster and main road with cars driving right by our site constantly. Stay away from Pine#5 unless you like zero privacy and clueless people cutting through your campsite regularly. Suggest to management they add to printed rules "do not allow your children to chase/terrorize the peacocks".

This KOA is great. Plenty of space and activities for the kids and adults alike. Love the teepee's.

My family and I camp every other weekend all year round. I was very displeased with this KOA. We were in site 11 and it reeked of raw sewage. We were told this was one of the best sites in the campground when we booked and I was not impressed at all. We consistently had people staying in the cabins walking through our site as well. There wasn't much to do with 4 kids; ranging in ages 6-15.

Limited full hook up sites. Majority of sites require an extensive amount of shoring up your rig due to site unevenness. Maneuverability of larger rigs (30' plus) can be very challenging thru camp sites. Limited extra vehicle parking. Prices have increased over past couple of years - not considered a good value for the $$ anymore. Park has grown, only tent camping areas have kept up.

Spots are very not level. No one in our group could get level. Sewer hookup was uphill. Pool was very nice. Spots fairly good sized. Probably wouldn't go there again

This place is pretty great for a family. One suggestion I would make is that the pool area can get crazy. For example on Saturday there were clearly a large amount of people who were not staying at the campground. I would suggest posting an employee at the pool gate enforcing wrist band checks. As this KOA grows and they start to build more amenities I can only see them having larger crowds.

We truly enjoyed our stay except for: the walking tour of BIG FOOT, the guide told my group that we couldn't join them because we didn't have a ticket( which the office said it was free). We waited the 45 min, it was a disappointment to my family. Next, the walk climbing staff said that I would only have to pay $5. the office charged me $10. office and staff are NOT in sync with the RULES!

great place, but the camp store can use a little help.
Aug 02, 2015
we only stayed one night. The site was not extremely level - it took us a while to get level so that the frog would work properly. The facility itself was fine - saw lots of things for kids to do which was great. If we ever come there again I would want our grandkids with us. Good family place to go.

Not made for large motorhomes

Nice enjoyed the pool area and camp ground was nice. My son and I had a lot of fun on the zip line. The only thing we didn't like was the Police Department Explorer Day Users that overtook the entire pool.

We had a wonderful, relaxing time!

Nice campground, need sewer connections at all sites!!!!

Facility is beautiful/ well kept. Will definitely be back! 2 comments: We were at pool Wed & was quite busy. During the 1.5hrs we were there, never saw a KOA employee. Some teenagers were a bit rowdy & an employee presence may have calmed them. -The craft was coloring dinosaur cutouts with markers. We paid $5 per kid (age 8-14). High cost for craft, too young of craft. Happy able to get refund

quiet place, sorrounded by nature. friendly staff.

The grounds are great. Laundry facilities could be improved ( need more for the number of camp sites). I will stay here again an recommend it to friends.

Great experience. Clean and beautiful grounds, fun activities for the kids and awesome staff!!
Jul 30, 2015
Facilities were clean which was impressive for camping! My kids enjoyed the pool. We did not get a chance to do the other activities that were offered for additional cost so have no comment on this next time we can do but hopefully cost is reasonable. We will be back next spring or summer😎

We where there for 6 days and it was quite pleasant and we will be returning.
Jul 29, 2015
I really didn't think the park was well kept and Everything was overgrown. Our site was so uneven we had to go by 2x6's to just make it better.
Jul 29, 2015
It was a great place to camp. We have a great time, and the kids loved it!!!
Jul 28, 2015
This was our second stay. The first time was great. We were bothered by getting nickled and dimed for everything. They charge for a 1 minute zip line $15. Peddle cart/rock wall $10. Last April, they only charged $5 for Rockwall and nothing for peddle cart. It is a quiet place and good for families. But if you have more than one kid and have to pay for those things, it adds up. We won't be back .

Pluses: great views and "camping" feeling I wanted. Negatives: Steep terrain/road from campsite to pool/playground, two flights of stairs from campsite to the restrooms/showers. Anyone with access issues should choose another location. On the phone I was told zip line was daily, but it was not. Email to confirm zip line sch. prior to arrival was not answered. Kids loved rock wall, pool, fire ring

Great location for a family reunion and weekend gathering.
Jul 27, 2015
We had a very nice stay! Plenty of activities for the kids & a nice new big pool. Can't wait to stay there again!
Jul 27, 2015
A little too much walking to reach office, pool ect, for the ill or old, but overall it was a beautiful campground.
Jul 26, 2015
Everyone was friendly and helpful, as a member would rate it one of the top KOA. Great for kids
Jul 25, 2015
HAD A GREAT STAY. LOTS OF ACTIVITIES FOR ALL AND THE EMPLOYEES WERE PLEASANT AND HELPFUL. WOULD NEVER WANT TO STAY IN OUR SITE AGAIN--TOO MUCH DIRT. HOWEVER, DID LIKE THE LOOKS OF THE PATIO SITES FURTHER UP THE ROAD.

Last KOA stopover on our 6 week stay in USA. KOA kept its reputation intact. The standard was equal to and better than some we used. In general KOA suited our needs. Thank you. Ian

Not enough sites with full hookup and those with them are on dirt with the cabins WAY TOO close. Get the pull through sites- back in are RIGHT ON TOP of the cabins. All of the dirt = TONS of dust. My dad came and he was charged $10 (I was the first site) he stayed 2 hrs. Would be better if the pool was heated- my kids would not even touch it- kids in it were freezing. My kids loved the zip line.
Jul 24, 2015
We stayed at Rivers Edge, bathrooms weren't always clean or have toilet paper. They also need repairs. Auto lights didn't always work. Nice friendly staff. Costs for everything little thing excessive. Should have one charge for site no extra ppl charge. 6 ppl to site with one charge not tell you only 4 ppl to site have to pay for 2 others. That is deceptive. What is the purpose for the bands?
Jul 23, 2015
clean, family place with lots of activities, animal friendly
Jul 22, 2015
it was fine. I wish the store had more options and served coffee. I wish we had known about activities that were going on. We never received a schedule or anything at check in. Just would have been helpful especially with kids.
Jul 22, 2015
Staff was mediocre at best, extras for kids were expensive, and shoddy. We were threatened by 2 Rottweilers and another large dog while on KOA property, all unattended and off leash and when staff was advised, it was met with indifference.

This is not only a great place to take the kids, but also a fantastic campground for a romantic cabin getaway. There are a ton of things to do: zip lining, wall climbing, creek exploration, movies... It is also a short drive to Ojai which is a quaint small town with nice restaurants. It is nestled between beautiful green mountains.
Jul 21, 2015
Pool was very nice with plenty of lounge chairs. Bathrooms near Birch were clean but the ones by the Oaks were disguising.
Jul 21, 2015
We loved this campground. Our site was nice. There is a lot to do and see. Staff was very friendly. I would go there again.
Jul 20, 2015
Awesome. Too bad it rained in July. Who would have predicted that. Lol.
Jul 20, 2015
Horrible site where random strangers were walking through and hanging out in to reach the bathrooms. Couldn't even leave our trailer because strangers were constantly sitting in our site and looking through our windows as they waited for their friends to leave the public bathrooms.
Jul 20, 2015
We needed a place to test run our new ( 1st time buyers:) trailer... & we found you guys on Yelp... We were not disappointed!! Even though it rained... We & our 2 boys had so much fun!! We'll definitely be back!!
