This was not our first time staying at this KOA, and we expected it to be just as nice. The facilities were very dirty, it was very loud with multiple semi-trucks all day and into the night, and a power surge caused our group to be broken up and moved to a different area. We tried to speak with front desk staff, and we never got a response or any assistance. Kind of disappointing.

Had issues and requested to talk to a manager all week. No response ever. Doug is the most obnoxious person you could possibly have public racing. We almost lost our electrical systems on our Tiffin coach and maintenance staff on site said that it was a regular occurrence at that site. Massive semis full of fruit and boulders are hauling through the campgrounds at 30 mph with little kids about.

The campground was amazing! Staff was very nice! The penthouse view was awesome! We had all 3 penthouse and made the grass area our meeting place as other families had several sites! Definitely we will be back!

We couldn’t find information anywhere before we came on age restrictions so our kids were too small to go on the ropes course and zip line that they were most excited about. We also didn’t get to pick our campsite so we got wedged into a space where our campfire was crammed in between 2 RVs with only about 4 feet to either side. It was so awkward and unenjoyable.

Prices don’t reflect the quality of the property amenities. Campsite was dirty with a lot of small pieces of trash and animal feces, the bathroom showers had a lot of spiders, and thick webs. Trees not trimmed over paths, had to practically crawl under. Overall unkept. Staff was nice, manager wasn’t.

We have stayed at the Ventura Ranch KOA several times now and have always had a great time! Our kiddos love the many activities that are available and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The facilities are well kept and clean. We look forward to returning soon!

The Staff at this location is LOVELY! The cabins are very up to date but, a little dusty. Otherwise they were certainly well worth the money spent. A great place to stay!!!

Pool and kids area were nice. The bathrooms were dirty and my bike got stolen from my campsite. A neighbors camper got.broken into as well while i was there. Overall, I won't be back.

Too crowded. You need to reserve the priciest spots for RV and cabins, in order to not feel you're a can of sardines. There was construction material by the RV site and cabin we stayed in, making our view trashed. They should had offer us a discount since we were not informed that our spots were adjacent to construction. View was full of construction supplies. Otherwise nice office personnel.

We always come as a group of 12-15 and everyone really enjoys the entire camping trip!! There are a few things that were of concern however, the fact that we could share each others cabin amenities.made it tolerable. For example, the kitchen has no hot water and very low water pressure. The air conditioning is a DREAM !! works fantastic! Overall, it was a Great Stay !!

I really liked the campground. We enjoyed our stay. The bathrooms and showers were not cleaned regularly and were pretty gross- we asked the front desk guy if they could be cleaned and he just laughed. The pool and zip line were fun for the kids- but the staff that ran the zip line didn’t really communicate with our kids and we ended up paying for the kids to do it again but only half were allow

Very friendly staff. Beautiful views and lots of activities. The river was awesome and easy to get to. The cabins were well stocked and comfortable for a family of 5. The store had everything we needed. Our stay was perfect!

We had a great time but the showers can def be improved as we sometimes waited 45-60 minutes to use the ONE shower stall that was avail. Adding food service at the pool would be a great plus. We loved the zip line and the creek was beautiful with a good amount of water flowing, Campsite # 22.

I am very disappointed that there weren't enough restrooms opened. We stayed at Birch Campground and would have to walk down to where the wagons were to use restrooms. A bit inconvenient not having full hook ups and having to get up at 4:00 in the morning to find an open restroom.

I stayed at a tent site with my family. We arrived on a Tuesday and I had to call them to clean the bathrooms and shower. They were filthy with toilet paper everywhere, broken toilet paper holders, and POOP. They came in a timely manner and cleaned, but they should be cleaned regularly without having to call. Besides that, the stay was pleasant.

We loved our first visit, during the off season. We were unaware that our next trip, during the summer season, would be so different. The activities were wonderful and the sites great. Our visit was cut short due to electricity issues. Our site's power kept shutting off, compromising our rig. They ARE aware of electricity issues but don't seem committed to fixing the wiring.

Cabin was filthy upon checkin. The kitchen was dirty, dead bugs, counter tops in the kitchen and bedroom were dirty brown. Bathroom was disgusting. Shower floor was brown and the "white" shower curtain was brown for the bottom 7 inches. The shower didn't drain- the pump outside was broken. The shamp/soap containers were broken on the floor bc they had been taped to the wall & fell off.

Our site was periodically overwhelmed with sewage smell. When I brought it to the attention of staff I was told it's being worked on and they pointed out the septic tank and it's vent just 20 feet away. It really put a literal stench on our outdoor expensive vacation. We were in a premium patio site with full hookups. Not acceptable to feel like we had to run inside too get away from the smell.

The bathroom was clean on the first day but till we leave no one was cleaning. There was a tree that had bee hives and kids were afraid to passing around but we had no choice but to do it cause it was on the way to the restroom. Although the pool was clean and fun to stay for sure.

We love this KOA. We stay a few times each year because it’s only a couple hours from our house. The kids love to ride their bikes around the pretty grounds. The campground is quiet at night, which is nice because we have little kids. The kids also love seeing the wild peacocks that wander around. The males sometimes spread their feathers out, which is fun to spot.

Amazing at location support and care. All 4 sites were in good shape and the bathrooms were cleaned daily. The pool was busy but a great place to cool off and play. Thank you and see you soon.

We enjoyed our stay a lot! The office staff is wonderful. I would like to give a shout out to Ryan at zip-lining. She was so bubbly, kind, and took time to make sure we were enjoying zip-lining. She stood out from all the workers, who acted as though It was a chore for them to be working. Ryan helped make our memories special. Thank you!

Our stay at the Ventura Ranch was ok. The plus was the Staff was friendly &our kids loved the adventure course. But we felt that the grounds were not very well kept up, the pool was so overcrowded, there is constant traffic of cars going through the campground which makes me uneasy to have my kids riding bikes around. The rock wall and adventure courses we only open 1 day of the 4 days we stayed.

Will be making reservations to come again. Our cabin on the hill was awesome. The peacocks were very interesting as I had never observed so many together at one place. Lots of activities for kids and adults. Beautiful place! We are true fans of Doug”! A total sweetheart!!!�ϋ����ϋ�

Our stay was stupendous! We can't remember the names of the entire staff we encountered but "great" began with Carol! Alexis & Sarah, too! The store is filled with things you need & things you'll love. The site was fantastic. The grounds are gorgeous & well maintained. Can't say enough about the staff. And love the peacocks & hens!! One of our best CG's! Be back soon! Great location close to Ventura Harbor, Ojai & downtown Santa Paula.!

This was our second visit to this RV campground. The place is so relaxing and peaceful. There are cool peacocks roaming, the staff is incredibly nice and friendly and the store/ office is open late if you need something.
