Ventura Ranch KOA

The Ventura Ranch KOA is a 76-acre campground nestled in Heritage Valley at the foot of Ventura County’s highest mountain, Topa Topa. Our guests enjoy clean fresh air as well as a forest setting close to the creek side. Little noise to distract; just lots of wildlife, gorgeous views, clear star-lit nights and only 15 miles from the beach! We are just off the scenic highway 150 between Santa Paula and Ojai.

We offer four types of accommodations from the very rustic to deluxe! We have large tent sites (no electricity) and nearby you'll have access to water, restrooms and showers. Our authentic Indian-styled teepees come furnished with beds & wicker chairs. Be sure to bring all your bedding and camping supplies. Water, restrooms and showers are a short walk away but, bring your flashlights and lanterns as there is no electricity in the teepees.
If you would like to add our glamour package for $49 to your teepee, please call the office about availability. We do require a minimum stay of two nights to add the glamour package & you must request the glamour package 2 weeks prior to your arrival.

Bring your RV and relax in one of our large, shady RV sites. We have pull-thru, back-in, full & partial hookups available. Some even have patios with patio furniture! All site have 50/30 amp service. The shadiest sites go first so book yours right away! (No tents allowed on RV sites) Your nightly rate include the motorhome or trailer & ONE car. Extra overnight passes are $10 for your entire stay.

Don't have a tent or RV? Like to camp in style? Try our upgraded, fully furnished deluxe cabins, which come complete with linens, towels, kitchen supplies, full size appliances, 38" flat screen TV, DVD player, central heat/air and an oversized deck with a gas BBQ grill. You'll also have your own fire pit for Smores!  Our Deluxe Cabins can accommodate up to six guests.

Studio cabins are a smaller version of our Deluxe cabins & tons of fun! All some with a microwave and mini-fridge, your own private patio deck, charcoal BBQ grill, fire pit, and, of course, all linens provided! Ask about our studios with flat screen TVs! Sleeps up to 4 people.

Camp Safari style in a glamour tent! Furnished with a queen bed & futon couch, you can easily sleep 4 people. This tent comes with electricity inside, it's fully furnished and has a microwave and mini-fridge to make cooking easy! Enjoy a campfire in the evening on your private patio. Very private and secluded while still close to the restrooms and showers!

Our activities for children and families is growing too as we wait for our pool to be designed and built. You can still remain busy making fun memories with arts and crafts, our huge jumping pillow, swing set & playground area, rock climbing tower, zip lining, race car pedal bikes, nature walks, and visiting the Bigfoot Watering Hole. Saturdays we sometimes offer a complimentary In Search Of Bigfoot Night Adventure walk--call the office to see if your weekend has one scheduled!

Improvements are happening throughout the park! So pardon us while we are renovating, building and upgrading our buildings, sites and amenities to make this your favorite campground!

If you are inviting people to visit at you your site, please be aware of the following rules:
All visitors must stop at the front office and register their vehicle and everyone coming into the park. There is a $10 charge that covers the driver and car; additional people are $4 each. Children under 5 are free. The car pass you are assigned must be clearly displayed at the front of the vehicle at all times. All visitors must leave by 10pm, when our campground quiet hours start.  Visitors in the park must abide by the same rules as overnight guests.
