Campground Reviews

Perfect spot along the creek. Owners were very personable and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Sites are to tight together. We camp to have the piece and quite. When you can basically reach out and touch the camper next to you, it’s a bit ridiculous.

We enjoyed our stay at KOA.Friendly staff! can't wait to go again.

We enjoyed our stay. Sites are close together and two campers face each other, so less privacy than camps with campers facing away from each other. The restroom facilities were clean and the dog park was large. It was quiet at night and it is away from the highway, which is always a plus. All in all it was a good spot for our last night of a month long adventure.

Given great directions, welcomed nicely. Guided to site. So impressed with Kathy’s professionalism, while feeling like a new friend as well! Only a one night stay, but would certainly go back if our travels ever take us that way again!

Was traveling through and only stayed one night. Campground location shows close to interstate, but you can't get there as easy as it looks. Checkin went good and staff was friendly and helpful showing us directings for getting back on interstate. Our site was All grass with rain the day before, so a bit muddy (glad wasnt there during rain) and not much room between lanes. I Wouldn't stay again.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We can't control the weather. We sign you in to the KOA a little longer than you are located to I-88, because there is a hair pin turn that campers can't make. So for this you give us a bad rating.

6th time we have been there and we will return next year, or sooner. Mike and Cathy are awesome!! The facilities are clean and the grounds are immaculate!! It’s quiet and relaxing! My kids and I will be back again!!

We had a wonderful time. The campground facilities were clean, and the campground was quiet. We rented a camper that was clean and nice. Only problem was with ants; however regular campers had them as well this year. Beds were hard, but an air mattress will fix that issue. We will definitely considered staying here again, and for more than just a weekend.

The McClures are awesome hosts!

The family that runs the campground was very nice and the facilities were clean. There were a lot of people that were extended stay campers so it felt a little like we were interlopers. All in all it was a nice campground, I just prefer not to be located next to campers that have all sorts of stuff stored around the camper, decks built around the campers. Felt like I was in someone’s back yard.

Missed not having sewer hookups but otherwise park is very nice. Owners were very accommodating and pleasant. They moved us to a larger site to fit our big rig!

A fantastic "Stay-cation" in a beautiful setting nestled between rolling farmlands. Close to Cooperstown and the town of museums. Great place to stay for the Derek Jeter induction. Generous hosts who are helpful all day long to make sure your stay is comfortable. One of the nostalgic KOA campgrounds that keeps getting better. The country roads and quiet camping experience brings me back.

Campsite was muddy, wet and created a problem keeping camper clean inside.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sorry, can't control mother nature. we shouldn't receive a bad rating because of the weather.

Good campground, water pressure in showers could have been a little better, but it seems to be normal in this area.

Owners were very helpful when we had an electrical problem

Nice , only thing on site d12 the water faucet was to close to the water hose to fit properly. Had to turn it on first to get our connection hooked up . Can’t get any TV connection because sitting in a valley with trees.

Signage to get to the park from the Highway was confusing. Staff (owners I think) seemed disorganized. We were put in an undeveloped area of the park, basically a hay field with water & electric. No driveway or developed campsites. This area of the park SHOULD NOT have been open to guests. We stay at KOA's frequently and this one was a disgrace to the brand.

KOA staff was very accommodating and helpful. Campground was clean and well maintained. Our best KOA experience yet!

Very peaceful and tranquil despite the amount of people that were there. The owners are very accommodating. Everyone there respects their fellow campers. Had a blast! Really enjoyed the local things to do like rustic Ridge winery And the baseball at Cooperstown and Oneonta

I was told i was getting full hook ups and there wasn’t one single seer hookup on the entire place…. I am not super pissed but i was expecting to hook up my camper, if you dont offer sewer than dont advertise it please and thank you.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Just wondering, where did you read that we have full hook-ups? Nowhere do we advertise that we have onsite sewer. We have a dump station and offer honey wagon service if you stay with us for three or more days. Just wondering where you read that?

Stayed twice this summer while passing through NY. We were awoken on our second stay at 4:00am due to a large "campfire" being started at one of the cabins and much activity going on. Could not get back to bed. Will not visit again

Unidilla was a nice camp ground. Their washroom vacillties were clean. I had good hot water in the showers. The stream near my camper was pleasant when I would come out in the morning. All in all the campground was top rate.

There seemed to be a water issue. Water had a poop like odor and was cloudy...I wonder if water was pumped from nearby river..which resembled chocolate milk...also wondered if dump station was draining into same river. My particular site was cramped...my slide outs were roughly 3 feet away from my neighbors slideouts....and parking my truck seemed to cramp the other neighbor.

In the top three of the dozens of KOAs that we have visited. Terrific hosts that make everyone feel at home. Rustic location in the foothills of the Catskils. Close to multiple great attractions. Great family atmosphere. We'll be back.

I wouldn't stay there again. The site was up in a hay field and very uneven. The price was very high and had no sewers. I think it gave koa a pretty bad name.

Good sight. Really helpful owners, clean restrooms, showers, and pool!
Jul 17, 2021
Staff is excellent and the campground is clean. It’s a small campground but nice.

this was the only reasonably priced accommodation when looking for a place to stay for my son's tournament in Cooperstown. This is about 30 minutes drive from where his team was staying. Didn't mind the drive at all because it was a peaceful drive. not busy at all. at times that it got foggy but still a beautiful drive with the hills along the hwy. We rented a cabin (#1) for me and my husband. even though it's by the entrance the noise didn't bother us at all. Cabin has 1 queen bed and a bunk bed. we used the bunk as our space for our clothes. there was a small fridge - sufficient for our 2 days supply of food or for left over A heater is also available - we had to use it 3/7 days as it gets cold at dawn. I love sitting on the bench outside and listen to crickets at night. The washroom is about 2 minutes walk from our cabin, which was always clean every time I had to use it.. Washroom I think has 3 stalls for toilet and 4 for shower. Water pressure is adequate and hot water temp is perfect. If you're looking for privacy - this is not for you. I won't mind coming back here again with my kids.
